Fantastic experience: This is a 5* review for Eyad's and Simon's morning courses and their engagement during to motivate us and help us grow. During the 1 year of attending these classes every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, I was impressed by their knowledge and their ability to create a safe space for individuals to push their boundaries. They were quick with alternate activities, and always knew when to push us more, or be cautious. Their classes helped me start my day off on the right way and it was clear to me that they were going above and beyond with the thought they put into this. I am sad to leave as I am moving away but I know that they will continue their amazing work with others! Thank you Eyad, and Simon!

Fantastic experience: I have coming to this gym since just after it first opened. The staff are really friendly and efficient and the equipment is pretty good for a gym of its size. Yes, it gets busy during peak times and the noise can get a little high, but I'm sure that happens in most gyms at peak times. For its cost, this gym is really very good indeed.

Negative experience: DO. NOT. JOIN. THIS. GYM. You’re much better off paying double the fee and going to a gym you can trust like Virgin or Fitness First, that also have superior facilities, equipment and customer benefits. Energie has the worst cancellation process which shows just how they think of their customers. WHY would you have to pay an extra 2 months to cancel? No gym, regardless of their size, employs a process like this. And if you don’t want to pay the 2 months? They’ll charge you for a year, cancel the membership, and sell the debt to a credit agency. Considering we’re in London and the current cost-of-living, this is vile work and probably one of the best ways they make their money. Thankfully, I’ve managed to convince around 10+ friends to not sign-up. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP, YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY REGRET IT.
Hi mansoor , The issue has been created by you wanting to cancel a 12 month contract that you signed up for - You chose the 12 month commitment option -Maybe because it was the cheaper option and you did not read what you were signing up for - However doing so you committed to a full 12 months membership - We are able to charge full contract balance should you decide to leave earlier However we have been very fair and said that we would cancel your membership as per the no-long term commitment cancellation terms - which is 30 days notice from your next billing date + the difference in price per month (£4) for the number of months you have been a member with us - You therefore have not been asked to pay any more than you would have been charged ,had you signed up for the no-contract option in the first place , We have to be tough with those that sign up for contracts , to avoid people signing for them just because it is the cheapest option and thinking it does not matter - but we have offered you a solution to break your contract and not charged you any additional fees compared to if you had selected the no-contract option ,

Fantastic experience: energiefitness Bow is a decent local spot for a workout. The equipment is generally in good shape and there's a variety of classes. While the space can get crowded during peak times, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's a solid choice for a no-frills gym experience. PLEASE CONSIDER UPDATING GYM EQUIPMENT especially cable machine

Positive experience: I am a member of the gym for almost 3 years. It's the closes to where I live which was a very important factor for me. The staff is very friendly and polite (I want to specifically point at Paolo and Simon) and the gym has almost everything I need for my routine. The gym has very comfortable operating times and keeps the members updated of any interruptions happening. Recently there have been a lot of equipment renewal that can't be unnoticed. Thank you for that! I am not ready to give 5 stars yet, as there're areas for improvement: - Not a drawback of the gym, but maybe towards all members and staff helping to maintain: very few people put equipment back to its place or unload the bars. That would be very helpful to bring everything back to empty once you finish your exercise - There's only one bench for chest press and only one squat rack which is sometimes not enough. The members are normally ok to share and are very friendly, and also the gym space is limited, so this is a long-term request - Loud music with a lot of swearing at times (in most cases it's a neutral volume and choice of music) Overall I normally have very pleasant experience, as the gym management tries to hear the members and works towards improvements.
Hi Lena, thanks so much for the 4 stars , we appreciate it , With regards members not putting equipment back , yes it is a problem and where possible staff do speak to people that continuously fail to put equipment away afterwards but this is an issue in all gyms unfortunately -Some people are just too lazy to put there equipment away - Please if you notice someone has not put something away then make a member of staff aware immediately so that they can speak with the member there and then - We have also found other members speaking to the member themselves is particularly effective - but we understand that people may be reluctant and feel intimidated . Unfortunately with regards the space we are limited , however we do have 33% more floor space than we did in 2019 With regards to loud music with swearing in -this is not permitted and should not be happening - Please if you do encounter this -please let the club know giving the day and time ,then we can speak to the staff member concerned - we would of course keep your information confidential
Fantastic experience: Really nice Gym. You will find almost everything. After 17:00 pm it’s a bit busy but overall the gym is tidy and organised. The staff is helpful for everything you need! Definitely recommending to everyone. Price excellent.

Fantastic experience: I've gone to the gym for over a year now and am satisfied with the quality of it, relative to the monthly membership I pay. Overall, the gym is on the smaller side but it contains a good amount of machinery and equipment including all the classics as well as more unique items such as a Pull-up/Dips belt, Boxing bag and gloves, 30" box (for box jumps), with a wide array of dumbbells ranging all the way up to 50kg. It has a big mat space and is clean. It has 4 standalone benches, 1 fixed bench, 1 squat rack & 1 Smith machine - it would be great to have another squat rack as it can get quite busy during busy periods. Although not the biggest offering, the gym offers great value for money.

Hi Luigi- Thankyou for the 5* yes unfortunately like most gyms there are some times where we are more popular than others .I will pass your comments to the "smiley" staff as well , this should make them smile even more !!
Negative experience: Pretty meh gym. Lot of the equipment is broken pretty frequently, some is pretty run down with patched seats, rust on the welds and weight selectors. Frequently blasting music at the absolute maximum, especially during classes but also depending on what staff is there it will be any time. Due to the small size it is more often than not an absolute chore to get through a workout, even if you aren't insisting on doing exactly the variation you were planning on. Did like it better when they had a booking system during covid, they can't handle peak times at all.
Negative experience: I was a member of gym and the gym location is really good but I have to say the the management of this gym is not satisfied , when I want to freeze and cancel my membership temporarily I have to pay extra one month fee, I have accepted this and what’s worse is that I have emailed the staff to cancel my membership because I am not in london for a while but I was still charged by “weekend only” fee after one month fee. The most important thing is due to the inconvenience operation of the website, I sent a request email to customer service that I need to cancel any type of my membership and I could pay for 30days fee according to terms ,and I have clearly received email from the gym to ask “do you want to cancel your membership?” I responded yes please cancel my membership even though I have paid one month fee according to your Terms. But after 30days my account is still charged and I emailed the customer service to correct this issue but four days passed get nothing from them. I do wish I could be a member of this gym again when I back to london, but my email box has no feedback so far and my account is still charged by weekend fee with no one help me figure out this problem. If possible in the future these issues are solved, I would choose to be a member again because it’s close to my home.
Hi Rayze , I am sorry that you have not understood fully the process for both freezing or cancelling a membership - Our T&C's state ,that we require 30 days notice from your next payment date to cancel a membership , therefore unless you are cancelling on your actual payment date ,then there will always be one final payment - With regards to freezing we require at least 7 working days notice to freeze an account - If it is less than this we will always freeze for the day following your next payment date until the day after your next payment which means you pay less for the following month but will be able to use the gym - we can see from your membership record that you actually changed your membership type yourself ,via the membership area - this membership is always offered to those choosing to cancel - we do not change the membership type
Negative experience: NO hope in this gym. The only reason I go is because I live close. Firstly, the gym is extremely small, one squat rack one smith machine. There are 1-2 groups of senior men who use one machine for a long time as they only work out together in groups of minimum 3. This is ridiculous because if we all act that way and come workout in groups then the single people will never be able to get through a workout. They need to have a policy per machine to use it at least for maximum 2 people so as when one rests the other one works out. Once I waited 25 minutes and those men were coming back at me when they told me they’ll be done in “5 minutes”. As a woman I’d highly NOT recommend this gym. The management team never tried to communicate any polcies or seem like they care to me. On top of that the staff seem discouraged and like they’ve given up. When you have a small gym you need to make sure people don’t use a machine more than 10 minutes since you only have one of each. You need to make the best out of everyone’s experience

Negative experience: When i come to register into the gym, after i pay for a full month and i use the gym for first day, one idi*t instructor came to me and say(someone else used before the same e-mail and he doesent close the contract, and they ask me to pay agin cause my payment was used to close that account.)the second day they block my card and acces to the gym without returning my money back.
Negative experience: the staff lied about a entry contract and steal my money. They say, if you want to leave the gym you need to pay one additional month for that. If you register again after time, they asking to pay double price, cause you need to pay first to close first registration.

Hi Joe , thankyou for your review , unfortunately we are unable to open longer hours due to restrictions by the estate management so unfortunately beyond our control - we have been busier today as we could not open until 12 due to important electrical safety checks taking place as required by law to ensure the safety of our members -this has unfortunately caused a knock on effect with this afternoon and evening being much busier than usual - We are not usually busy all day , but are as busy as any othyer gym at popular times of the day such as early morning or evening - we do ask our members to avoid these times if possible

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym a few weeks back and have had a really good experience. The gym is clean, staff is friendly and they also help out with any questions you have. During the onboarding session, the trainers create a 12 week plan to help you reach your goals. They also have a variety of classes everyday focussing on different types of trainings for the body. I have taken a few of Simon's classes and he is an amazing trainer. For someone like me who is new to going to the gym - he really motivates you and teaches with patience.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommending Personal Training in the gym with Julia Kobryn! I have had other PTs in the past but Julia's approach really stands out; she is super professional as a coach, very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, plus she really cares about your progress and success. I appreciate very personalised training tailored to my specific goals as well as my busy lifestyle making it feasible, enjoyable yet positively challenging. I can already see results from our work together and I am looking forward to continuing my transformation journey with Julia. Positive experience: 1) DEEP clean the matts, it stinks. It moves my nose to my back. 2) The plan MUST be re-arranged to increase space effectiveness. 3) Get another smith machine for your disabled customers. 4) Clean the disabled toilets. I gave 3* only because it is local.

Negative experience: Dear Resident - Do not join this Gym I am writing to make a complaint against the staff at Bow energie fitness. I rejoined the gym last for a one off payment £40 however none of the staff could manage to get my facial recognition to work. In the line of work I do I have very limited time in the morning. Every day for three week someone had to let me in and ask me for my mobile number. This was very time consuming because I had to explain myself time and time again. This was ontop of paying for my membership in cash and being incorrectly charged an cancellation fee. Will not be rejoining this gym again

Negative experience: Worst gym experiance in my life they have sold way too many memberships much better off at pure gym and for the price wow and they never cancel or refund you on time and keep charging you avoid this place Also paolo tried to intimidate me when I asked to cancel And to add to it I was never warned about any think it's day light robbery every dog has there day guys thanks for robbing me in a coat of living crisis Also how can you ask such a high amount for such sub standard gym

Positive experience: Gym is convenient as it is located close to home but why staff insist most of the time on playing such loud music (radio usually), where the vast majority of people/clients there already listen to their own personal music/playlists on their headphones/earphones during workouts anyway??? Very irritating, just keep the music low and let people enjoy their sessions!

Negative experience: When I first joined, I was informed that I should provide a one-month notice prior to canceling my membership. Accordingly, I gave my notice on October 4. However, I was later told that this notice should be given 30 days before the billing date – a detail that wasn't communicated initially (Dont f. try to write under my comment that I can find that detail written with 5 punto on somewhere you should tell it as you said one month before notice). This oversight means that I will be billed for an additional month. Additionally, the facility is often crowded, and it's not uncommon to find sections closed off for private courses, even when space is already at a premium. This experience has been frustrating and feels misleading.
Hi Ramazan , we are sorry that you misunderstood our cancellation terms , however they were fully laid out in the welcome email that was sent to you on sign up with the club and also available on our website - It is up to the member to read and understand our terms and conditions . Our cancellation terms are "30 days notice are required from your next billing date" which is clearly stated in the terms With regard to the areas closed off - we only close our yard for classes which is no more than 2 30-45 minute sessions per day- we have only had 1 training session in the last 6 months

Fantastic experience: Recently signed up, has been a great introduction so far. Easy sign up process with them assisting me through WhatsApp, they called and checked in during my first week of membership, met and spoke to lovely staff members and great communication about classes and their induction program. Facilities seem great so far, clean, tidy and the gym is bigger than I expected, which is a bonus. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reasonably priced Gym in the local area!

Fantastic experience: Been coming to this gym for about 2 years now and I've got to say the staff are great! Big up to Paolo this guy is all ways up for a friendly chat and advice on training. Gets a little busy at peak hours but if you got you workout planned you'll be alright
Positive experience: I’ve been coming to this gym since 2018 and still here. I’ve seen this gym go through the refit and now the gym is slightly bigger with better equipments. As a religious person I LOVE that this gym has a ladies hours only for every Sunday 6pm to 8pm and I have recommended many women to join due to this reason, my daughter being one. I love all the classes and their staffs, always pumping with energy and ready to help. Peak times the gym can get very busy and I don’t get a chance to work out but so happy they’ve introduced classes, I do 3/4 classes per week. Love it. Thank you for being very attentive and thank you for the lady hours only!

Fantastic experience: This is my 3rd month in the Gym and I could not be more happy. The environment is very good and it has a perfect location for locals. Negative experience: Alright! So this review was long overdue. It’s been approximately 8-9 months that I’ve been a member at the gym and I’ve honestly had enough. This place is literally 50 steps from my place but I’m honestly so thrown off by the utter lack of hygiene or management in this gym that I have decided to cancel my membership. Funny bit is, when I asked the staff how one can go about doing so, they told me ways to do it rather that asking why I wanted to quit (just my two cents on how to run a business, specially one that’s a service based business) Like a lot of people have already mentioned in the reviews, the place is really dirty. With old and rickety equipment that could lead to serious injuries while working out this place is getting hazardous. Every week At least one machine breaks down and is out of order for 2-3 days. The morning staff is okay, but the evening staff is absolutely horrendous. No one really cares, and the trainers have either given up on the place or honestly I don’t even know what their job is. One other thing that really annoyed me was the manager who I tried to buy pre-workout from, a couple of times and he’d hold onto it like I would run away with it till my transaction would go through. Customer service really needs to be worked on. Based on the response from management on the previous reviews, I doubt that anything will change in this gym after I write all of this. I hope someone who’s planning to join the gym has a read through and maybe has a better idea of what they might be getting into. A lot of people have to end up going here because it’s the only gym in the area

Negative experience: I have been going to this gym since a year now. The only reason being: it’s convenient and right in the building I live. - The gym floor is literally dirty each day every day. If you stumble your hand on the yard area, you are likely to get a few hair on your hands. I am really sure they don’t clean anything in that gym. - The mats are so filthy that they have now turned into Black from Grey. - Most dumbles and plates have ripped off of their coverings making them UNSAFE and hazardous to use, as It’s rusted iron. - The rack where the dumbles are kept has rust on it and it’s so sharp that once I hurt myself and started bleeding. I asked the trainer to look into it as It’s not safe, the response was literally NOTHING! They handed me a Bandaid! - They organise classes in Free area at the BUSIEST TIME in mornings and evenings, which isn’t always the best because for 4-5 people they hold the area for rest of the people. - It’s not some cheap gym btw, it’s 30 pounds a month!! So the facilities are below the par! - Between 8-10 there’s literally CROWD in the gym, and yet they keep taking people in even when the gym is really small + limited areas + equipment. I don’t even think anyone takes care of this gym. I would NOT recommend it.

We recently changed the cleaning company because we were not happy with their standards .We do have a new cleaning company that comes in on a daily basis , but it sounds like they're not doing a good enough job. I'll talk to their manager about this and make sure that the cleaning standards are raised. I'm also concerned about the safety of the equipment. It's unacceptable that the dumbbells aare rusty and that the rack is sharp. I'll have these items replaced -They are already on order I agree that the classes at peak times can be disruptive. , however this is the time that people want to and are able to take classes and for health and safety reasons we have to close the area to other customers whilst classes take place , we do ask that those wishing to use the yard check our class timetable and plan their visit accordingly Finally, I understand your concern about the overcrowding. our popular evening times can get busy so again we advise that where possible plan your visit outside of these times to avoid being disapointed - unfortunately all gyms experience the same issues at popular periods I appreciate your feedback. It's important to me that we provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our members. Positive experience: The gym is convenient for people living near E3, just opposite Tesco Express However, it gets quite busy during peak hours and on weekends It's a small and compact gym, and you might have to wait for your turn to use some machines I love the cage section with boxing bags

Fantastic experience: Gym is good.. but the shower water is extremely hot to use and there is no option to mixing. Please be aware of this thing. Fix it, otherwise it is impossible to take shower here.

Negative experience: The induction was inexistent. I’ve asked the instructor and he said that there was Nothing to be shown. The area for the classes is very small and the Classes are only 30 minutes. Not worth the price at all.
Thankyou Ila for your review - Inductions are offered to all members but need to be booked in -If you were not happy with your induction you should have spoken with a manager who would have addressed the issue if there was one With regards to classes our yard area is sufficiently big enough and many of our members are quite happy with the classes that we offer -we do also run arrange of classes , some 30 minutes and some 45 - this gives flexibility for those that are only comfortable with shorter classes and many people find 45 minutes too hard
Positive experience: its ok but they are thieves lurking around so don't leave your phone anywhere its not safe unless its under cctv

Negative experience: If you’re an intermediate to advanced lifter please avoid this gym. I say this because the weight lifting equipment is sub-par. One bench press, One squat rack, one smith machine and no deadlift platforms in sight. It’s a very small gym. During peak times you will almost certainly have to wait for your equipment or try and substitute it for another workout. The changing rooms are not separated by gender. It’s an open changing room. The showers are good though, they’re spacious and you can change inside there. Due to it being in a residential area I believe the local licensing limits how many hours the gym can be open. This is a gym for people who solely want to do cardio or strength training to a certain extent - maybe if you’re a beginner. They have a good selection of Dumbells - they go up to 50kg, but theres only 1 set of each weight. If you live next to the gym this may also suit you due to convenience.
Fantastic experience: Really great gym! The staff and other service users are all super friendly and helpful, really helps to create a good sense of community! Might seem a bit small at first but has pretty much everything you could need for a good session. Shout-out to Kasely who is very friendly and knowledgeable and responds quickly to any queries.

Fantastic experience: I joined this gym nearly a month ago. I've found all staff to be very friendly and attentive. I particularly like the manager. He is very polite and asks about how you are. All the other staff are helpful too. As for the gym, it's a bit small unfortunately for my liking. However, for the space, it's well equipped. The shower water is also so incredibly hot although I haven't brought this to the attention of staff yet so can't really blame them. Overall, relatively happy.

Members of staff friendly and provide high level of care towards what I want to achieve as well providing me with induction (showing me how to use the machines, advice on nutrition and personal touch). Fantastic experience: Joined a few months ago on the premium membership and had my free PT trial on Thursday with Benjamin. He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave me a million and one different exercises focused around what I wanted to achieve from going to the gym. It was a good intensity and packed a lot in. On top of that Benjamin is just a really genuine nice guy and been in the industry for some time, full of great tips. Would recommend to anyone looking for a PT!

Fantastic experience: This gym is fantastic and great value for money. They now offer a wide range of classes. In particular, Giada and Corey have been excellent instructors, explaining the exercises really well and leading fun and challenging classes.

Very rude, aggressive staff (especially personal trainer Corey Brown) - Music with aggressive lyrics, text with obscene language - Old sports equipment (rusty iron, torn leather)
Hi Zulfiia, thankyou for your review , i am sorry that you found your experience so bad , As you do not appear to be a member I am not able to respond to you directly - We have a few machines that do have torn leather but these will be replaced very soon as we are waiting for an upholsterer to attend , however there are very few machines in that way - with regards to rust on some equipment , This unfortunately is due to the machines being sprayed with antibacterial very regularly for the last 2 years , unfortunately the spray causes some equipment to rust , we are looking at replacing much of the cardio very soon With regards to the music - unfortunately sometimes the stations being played do broadcast uncensored lyrics - whilst we endeavour to change the channel when this happens s, sometimes that is missed due to staff being busy with other tasks - it is always possible however to ask a staff member to change stations if this happens I do not agree that staff ignore customers - Staff are there to help whenever needed and all you need to do is ask - I will speak with Corey with regards the fact you think that he was rude to you

Negative experience: It’s a good local gym. Very convenient as a decent range of machines/exercise areas to do a variety of work outs. However, please can you please please make better use of the air circulation capabilities at this gym. There’s no air conditioning and to put it frankly, this gym stinks. I often have to avoid areas of the gym because of the smell.

Negative experience: Really small facility, no changing rooms and quite an overly expensive membership at £30+ . If it was a maximum of £15 that would be fair.
Hi OWYH Thankyou for your review , we do have private changing facilities within the shower cubicles , with lockers outside for everyone to use - Our prices actually start at £22.99 for a student membership and £26.99 which for a club in Zone 2 is very reasonable especially when you consider the running costs of a club in such a location -we believe our prices are very competitive
Fantastic experience: Have been at this gym since I was 17, have seen changes in staff, equipment and locations, but through it all a great gym in the Devons Road area. Can access weights, good stack, barbells and plates as well as a multi-combo machine Few suggestions: Fri/Sat/Sun if possible to extend these hours, but I'm aware this may be done in the not so distant future Showers, the dial needs to be regulated to allow hot/cold water On winter great, hot water especially on a night workout, but summer, not so good, leaves you feeling more hot and sweaty than cool, also the showers need to be cleaned more often, could be just with a power hose and a anti-bac spray every 2/3 hours But apart from that, great facilities, staff and an overall good gym
Hi Rejwan, thankyou for the 5 star review - we are currently looking at extending opening hours at the weekends but is subject to the caspian wharf estate management allowing us to do so - our ours are restricted by the lease we have in place and being the ground floor of a residential block we have to consider this - The showers are currently cleaned every two hours and inspected in the hours in between - However if you should notice an issue please do tell the staff member on duty and ask them to look at it for you
Negative experience: Gym is decent, staff are friendly and helpful, equipments are ok The big issue for me and others is the early closing time on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. It gets worse because men can only go on Sundays till 6pm. Hope you can extend it to 10pm every day. Please do think about us who work till late. We can just about get to the gym for 6:30/7pm
Positive experience: Adequate but machines are all old and quite worn. I have seen staff clean in the evening around 6pm there is always one man who does that but first thing in the morning it is a mess so clearly not being cleaned by staff. There are rubbish packets and tissues on machines etc and whilst users are meant to wipe down machines you would expect first thing at 6am that they have been cleaned the night before or staff would wipe them down first thing in this current climate. One female member of staff always insists on having loud dance style music on and gives you dirty looks when asked to be turned down. People can use their own headphones there is no need for such loud music whether its 6am or 6pm its the same. There is never tissue in the machines or wipes even though there is a cupboard full of supplies and you can kind of tell staff just dont care and it reflects in the gym. A young tall black man and young white female who I usually see in the evenings are the only ones I ever see cleaning, engaging and the rest are just glued to their phones and annoyed if you disturb them.
Hi Clare , thankyou for your message and sorry to hear about your experience- The machines are all well maintained and all that you should need for your workout - With regards to the cleaning all equipment is cleaned once per day and the whole gym is cleaned overnight - It is rare to find anything that has been missed by the night cleaner - I myself as owner regularly open the gym and Do not usually find anything that has been missed - With regards to the wipes , they are regularly checked by staff however they do occasionally run out , if you notice that happening then please speak with the member of staff who is working and ask them to fill the dispenser for you
Positive experience: Love coming to the gym, lots of good equipment and the staff are very nice and helpful! It's also very convenient for me to get to. Only reason its not 5 stars is because of the size, can feel quite cramped especially on busy days, and the closing times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, make it very difficult to get to the gym on those days when you work weekends but overall I'm happy at this gym

Negative experience: Not a pleasant experience at all. The gym is quite small and equipments are old for the price they charge. Lacking many machines and you have to queue for a machine in peak time. Staff are not friendly at all. During a month being there I was called over the counter for so many nonsense reasons, so many times just to check my faulty tag. Me and my partner were once asked to leave the gym on a noncrowded time because my partner's booking didn't go through. I just gladly left this gym forever for much better alternatives.
Hi, thankyou for your review I am sorry that you were not happy at the gym . The majority of our customers are very happy with the equipment that we have which is maintained on a regular basis . As we do not know who you are we cannot investigate why you would be called over by staff ,but usually this is because our rules are not being followed -We do have extra rules in place as a result of the current pandemic and it is essential that customers adhere to them to keep our members safe . We do currently have a booking system in place to ensure that we don't have too many members in at one time again to keep all members as safe as possible and members that are not booked in do run the risk of being turned away if we are fully booked -Just because the club appears relatively empty does not mean that we have space-There may be 10 people due to come in the next few minutes .With regards to the staff not being friendly I think you will see from the many positive reviews we have stating just the opposite- These times are very challenging for the gym industry and such reviews are not helpful
Positive experience: Good gym! Very good Staff! Good atmosphere! Compared to other local gyms it's on the smaller side. Extended operating times will make a huge huge difference especially given other local'ish gyms are 24hrs or have longer operating hours. Ideal Beginner/Intermediate Gym

Positive experience: Love the level of service in this gym. The staff are friendly and have been so willing to help unlike other gyms I’ve been to where you can’t even find someone for help. As a fairly new gym goer, this makes things a lot less intimidating. They literally take the time out to show you how to use the equipment, and even advice on improving your form. One con for me is that they close earlier than I’d like on Fridays and the weekend. The other thing is that it feels just a tiny bit cramped in some areas. These are very minor issues and the pros definitely outweigh the cons. I would absolutely recommend!

Positive experience: No matter how good gyms are there will be always be moaner! For me this is the best gym around in the area, good selection of equipment, cardio, both free weight plus machines, friendly helpful staff and all at a competitive price. Not perfect by all means as I did prefer the old layout before refurbishment but still stand by the comments above and would have given 4.5 stars relative to the other gyms around if I could. It is very unlikely you will find absolutely all your favourite equipment/machines you want at any gym. I could do with a hack squat but not there so do lunges/front squats be happy with what is there already and learn to adapt your training.

Positive experience: Good gym with good equipment in a very convenient location. Although in these times I think managment should stagger booking times. There is way too many people in one area at the same time even tho posters are up saying not more than 6 people in one area, but it doesn’t look like its working. Everyone loves to workout and so do I, but in order for gyms to stay open I think there should be stricter rules on how many people are allowed to book slots so gym doesn’t get overcrowded.

Thankyou for your comments regarding capacity - we do actually have restricted access -Government and UKactive recommend that you have 100 square ft per member in the club - As our club is 4200 square ft we should be able to accommodate 42 people in the club at any one time - I have set the capacity at just 25 so 17 below the recommended limit which should give people more than enough space - The problem is members that choose not to read the signs unfortunately . With regards the staggered start times , this is already in place with slots starting at 5 minute intervals however there is never more than 25 members in the gym at any one time. If you do experience issues with two many members in any area on your visit , please bring it to the staff member on duty's attention , who can go to the area and ask people to leave
Negative experience: After an exhausting day at work, I look forward to going to the gym. Due to covid-19, understandably the visiting slots are 1 hour so it is of the interest of all parties to be efficient with the equipment available at the gym. There is only one chest bench available so it was surprising to see the personal trainer by the name of Rolandas with his client using the bench for more than an hour. I’m assuming it was more than an hour as I was waiting during my hour slot for the bench to be available and by the time I left, it was still being used. The surprising this is, he wasn’t using it for any chest related exercise and therefore could have used any of the other free-weight benches available. And there were many of them available at the time. I did ask how long he will be with the bench as soon as i entered the gym and after I finished the other exercises and both times i got the same response which is 'I will be here for a while'.
Hi Maruf , thankyou for your review and I am sorry you found your recent visit unacceptable - I will speak with Rolandas with regards to the bench as it should be made available to everyone and should not be in use by the same person for an extended period of time , especially when times for members are restricted - I would ask though next time that you either approach the person yourself and say you would like to use the bench or otherwise if you don't feel comfortable doing that then speak with a member of staff who will speak to them for you .
Fantastic experience: Thanks to Ronaldas in particular my experience with this gym and my opinion on every other has changed significantly. Ronaldas has guided me massively through my fitness experience and shown me how to enjoy and make the most of my time at the gym. He’s taken time out his own days to ensure I feel comfortable and taken high measures to encourage me and allow me to feel my best. He’s an absolute asset the Énergie Fitness Franchise and I’m so thankful to have met him and have him train me. Still a long way to go to reach my goals but it’s an absolute pleasure each time and I look forward to more.

Fantastic experience: I have recently joined the gym. On my first visit I was welcomed by Rolandas who greeted me and was there to answer any initial questions I had about the gym. I was impressed by his knowledge and friendliness ( I have been to other gyms where staff try to 'intimidate' clients. However I am happy to say this is not the case at Energie Bow! I am already looking forward to my next visit!!
Fantastic experience: I'm new to the gym and I didnt knew what I was doing. After a while one of the staff members (Rolandas) saw how I am struggling and offered free PT session. Even thou I didnt signed with him for further training, because of a tight budget he was amazing as a person and as a trainer. In one hour he teached me more than the internet did in 3 years. Very huge thanks to Rolandas Gym is small but nice.
