Fantastic experience: I wholeheartedly recommend the Strengthening and Conditioning classes at the Physiotherapy Centre in Widley! Run by the amazing Cam, these small group sessions are expertly tailored to suit each individual's abilities. Cam’s keen eye for personal needs ensures that every client gets the most out of the program. Not only are the classes incredibly effective, but they’re also fun to participate in.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely great, kind caring helpful and very good at diagnosing and treating,. I have used them twice now, both times very painful problems and helped fix me. Would recommend them to anyone with a problem.

Fantastic experience: I would recommend The Physiotherapy centre to anyone who is looking for attending somewhere where they feel valued, listened to and where the staff are absolutely top notch. I have never had much luck on the NHS but after finding the centre and having met Jeanette and then continuing to multiple courses of hydrotherapy, I will never look back. Yves has extensive knowledge and experience . As a doctor I am aware of the potential for incorrect or missed diagnosis but I trust Yves implicitly . His assessments are thorough, he explains the problem and gives a comprehensive treatment plan . It is hard work but the results are worth it . He restores our activity . Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending the Physiocentre for 20+ years which has kept me playing hockey into my 70’s. I have recently had a bicompartmental knee replacement and returned to playing in 4 months. Brilliant practice.

Fantastic experience: I sprained my ankle while out running. After the initial swelling had gone down the Physiotherapy Centre gave me various strengthening and mobility exercises, and gradually over a number of weeks my ankle returned to full strength. I would highly recommend the Physiotherapy Centre.

Fantastic experience: My first call on the Physio Centre at Widley was for treatment for tight ham strings and then help with the onset of rheumatoid arthritis. At the Centre Carys suggested that their hydro pool was ideal for my condition and my hospital consultant confirmed this as the best way forward. I received excellent care from first Carys and then Cameron and would strongly recommend the hydro pool which put me on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, I then had an accident when out walking and fractured my hip leading to a hip replacement operation. On discharge from hospital, I asked the Centre if they had any outreach physiotherapy service in people’s homes as my mobility was extremely limited. I was delighted that they could help and had an initial assessment set up quickly with Laura. I then booked a programme of sessions which have been incredibly helpful. Laura has carefully taken me through a series of steps from initial exercises to walking with crutches, to climbing steps and stairs and then advancing my exercises to move me onwards. Everything has been done carefully, at a pace I can manage, and the results have been great. Laura gave me the confidence I needed to press ahead. I am really pleased to report the experience has been brilliant and would strongly recommend the Centre and its staff. Fergus Carr 14/8/23

Fantastic experience: I went to the physiotherapy centre ,I googled them as you do as I was in so much pain with my shoulder,it was affecting my whole life ,I had been struggling for about 5 months ..my 1st visit with Jeanette was amazing ,she listened understand and empathize with the pain , after thoroughly examining me ,she did some manipulation and for me to go away and carry out some exercises ..I fel so much relief after that first visit after a further two in 6 weeks .I have a nearly 100% usage and no pain . fantastic I got my life back ..I would certainly recommend them to anyone , Thankyou !!

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend going to The Physiotherapy Centre in Widley . I had a very thorough assesment regarding my problem . Kirsty the set out a treatment plan which was carried out over the course of a few weeks then onto hydrotherapy and finally rehab exercises with Cameron . All the professionals that I had contact with were polite, friendly and informative . Also Sue on reception was very helpful too. Fantastic experience: If you’re contemplating a Mummy MOT with Kirsty DO IT! After feeling underwhelmed by my 6 week check up with the Doctor, Kirsty provided me with all the answers and reassurances I needed. I have just completed six sessions of physio and I have more movement, strength and confidence. Kirsty is not only knowledgeable and professional but also provides a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. She is an asset to The Physiotherapy Centre.

Fantastic experience: I want to say a huge thank you to Cam for all his hard work and patience. Over the last year he has helped me physically and mentally recovery from a snapped ACL, his knowledge and expertise has always been reassuring but his commitment to my recovery is something I will always been grateful for! After the first few months of my initial treatment, Cam introduced me to blood flow restriction training to not just aim my recovery but to help build muscle and strength in turn protecting my joints and tissue while they were still healing. I’m a year down the line and my fitness levels are higher than they have ever been. I would highly recommend Cam and everyone at The Physiotherapy Centre, their customer service is first class.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a Mummy MOT with Kirsty Saunders following the birth of my child. I highly recommend it for any new mother, it was great to understand, build confidence and get support around my postnatal body. The session was so informative and allowed me to understand where my body is in its recovery since giving birth. Kirsty was so knowledgable, helpful and supportive throughout my sessions and it was fully adapted to what I wanted to get out of the sessions as my main focus. I am so glad I was recommended this and booked in. I can’t recommend this enough to any new mother who has a specific reason or goal they want support with or even just for piece of mind! Fantastic experience: Following discharge from hospital after sustaining a fractured ulna, with no aftercare available from NHS, I referred myself to Laura at The Physiotherapy Centre. At each consultation Laura monitored, assessed, advised and gave me a programme of exercises. The progress I made was rapid and significant, reducing swelling, pain and mobility. I could not recommend Laura highly enough as without her professional support I would not have managed to so quickly regain my ability to resume my usual lifestyle. Fantastic experience: Actually went here for ear wax extraction . Nikki done a brilliant job which was painless and totally done the job!

Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2022 and wasn’t sure how to manage the pain I was in. With help from Kirsty my pelvic pain has massively improved and I now have the knowledge to be able to manage pain when it does flare up. Highly recommend Kirsty and the physiotherapy centre!

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff with great knowledge and a friendly approach. My physio, Cameron was very good, I knew I was in safe hands from the start. I would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Walked in on a Monday afternoon with a very painful neck issue and although they couldn’t fit me in that day they gave me an appointment for 8:30 the next morning. After examining me they diagnosed the problem and massaged/treated the problem area in the back of my neck. I left with a printout of specific exercises they wanted me to carry out and now 2 days on the problem has more or less disappeared. Best £65 I have ever spent!

Fantastic experience: Exceptionally friendly, professional and accommodating is the correct description for the team at The physiotherapy Centre. As for Yves de Vos, his professional knowledge and skills have immensely helped with my chronic back and neck pain. Always looking for the best therapeutic option/approach for my problems, but also considering not just treating, but preventing problems from reoccurring. Could not thank the whole team enough!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have used the pool successfully for over 15 years for 3 hip replacements and 2 knee replacements. Aqua physio should be compulsory for all patients having replacement joints as you can do so much more in the pool and combined with land based exercises is the perfect combination to take full advantage of the new joint you that has been replaced to get it to work properly with the muscles it is joined up to!

Kirsty was the lucky one who assessed me and we booked in several sessions which worked wonders! From first visit till last was given plenty of information and time. Fantastic service from Nickie and she solved all my issues with microsuction in just a few minutes with an instant return of my hearing . Gemma is absolutely superb at what she does, she has a passion for her work and she has made such a big difference to my husband in the 5 months we have been seeing her. She takes the time to understands her clients, their motivations and can sense when my husband is having a good day and can be pushed or when he is having a bad day. We are so glad we came across Gemma and The Physiotherapy Centre, she has made such a difference to my husband already and we know we are only at the beginning. Thank you Gemma

Fantastic experience: Our experiences at the Physiotherapy Centre have always been very positive. However, Gemma Brown our son’s Neurophysiotherapist in particular has been exceptional in supporting his rehabilitation from a serious brain condition. Under her guidance we have seen real progress and improvements in his physical abilities. She is always kind and professional and is constantly including new exercises to keep it interesting for him whilst ensuring he gets the most possible benefit from his sessions.

Negative experience: Dreadful and negligent!! After 25 weeks of physio, I was eventually referred to the wrong specialist! Instead of being referred to a back specialist, I was referred to a Hip specialist as my "back was resolving". After many more months, I eventually reached a back specialist and underwent complex back surgery in January this year for 4 different problems which included a pars defect, extensive sciatic nerve damage and a major spinal fusion!! I tried to get some form of apology from the centre but they did not want to know - disgraceful!

Positive experience: First-timer procedures need reviewing. Having filled in my application form via the website to gain an appointment... I then turned up to my appointment only to be given a (blank) paper form and asked to give all the details AGAIN. The receptionist had a "I don't care" attitude to this. What's the point? Whilst the physiotherapist treatment itself was very good, this admin procedure shows something is quietly badly flawed here.
