Fantastic experience: Thanks to Clare I am in the best shape of my life. My goal was to lose weight and get stronger for my 60th birthday and with Clare I have exceeded every one of my expectations. She works you hard and is very disciplined and so you get results. Its been life changing and I really can't recommend her more highly.
Fantastic experience: Clare has been personally training me for 21 weeks and I could not be happier with the results so far. I have lost two stone in weight, gained a lot of muscle and feel really toned. Clare cares passionately about my success and sets clear goals for my weekly achievements. The weekly sessions are well organised with a variety of different activities. She is VERY particular about how exercises are carried out and makes sure they are done correctly and for optimum impact. I am a runner and have felt stronger, faster and lighter on my feet. Her home gym is well equipped and clean. I cannot recommend Clare highly enough.
Fantastic experience: If you're reading this, it's because you want reassurance that Clare is the right choice for you from the perspective of someone who has already walked the walk, or maybe run the treadmill! Let me start by saying that Clare's approach is simple. Meet just once a week, weigh in (high fives or guilt trip), followed by a proper workout on her pro-level gym equipment and some plain-old exercises. This simple approach works! What makes Clare unique is her experience of getting results and her ability to build rapport with her clients—just enough to make you want to turn up, but not so much that you want to stay and have coffee afterwards. You will be going to her because you want someone to be your coach and kick you up the backside when you need it (and you probably will!). Over time, if you do your part by tracking your food (easy with the app!) and find your exercise outside of Clare's hour, you will love her approach and build a strong bond with her. So the question isn't really, is Clare right for you? It's more about whether she is prepared to take you on and turn you into a better version of yourself. Her reputation for outstanding results exists because she is just a little bit selective in her approach, so be prepared in your intro session not for Clare to say what she's prepared to do for you but instead for you to say what you're prepared to do for her! Overall, Clare has been such an inspiration to my wife and me, and we wouldn't be the people we are today without her help. So, if you're prepared to put the effort in, then we can wholeheartedly recommend her, and you really can't put a price on something that changes your life for the better.
Fantastic experience: Clare helped me lose 17kg in 4 months after having tried by myself for 10+ years without any luck and by the end was even contemplating those 'wonder' solutions that destroy your health. So, she took me in when I felt at my lowest. With weekly weight loss goals, set calorie intake and exercise routine, I was able to see the weight slip off, sometimes just a bit and sometimes a lot. Having to face her weekly about my results made me much more responsible and organized than rely on my own drive. And the weekly exercising with her other clients was very entertaining and fun. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Fantastic experience: Clare sets up and trains small groups in fitness and effective weight loss. Not only have a lost the 2 stone I wanted to but I have kept it off and had fun at the same time. I look forward to the weekly sessions and the camaraderie of the group and I also enjoy how healthy I feel, all thanks to Clare's knowledge and support.

Fantastic experience: Clare is a fantastic trainer, really personable but also gets results. She is totally adaptable to any ailments you might have and is incredibly understanding. I suffer from chronic illness and she totally hears me, I can work within my limits without feeling intimidated. I also am keen to drop weight and her strategy really works. Fantastic experience: I have been attending PT sessions for over 3 years. When I started I could hardly breathe when exercising and was 3 stone heavier. Fantastic experience: For me, it wasn’t just about loosing that stubborn bit of weight that was refusing to come off, I also wanted to tone up. Clare is friendly & supportive but will push you (sometimes like a tyrant) to achieve those results you agree together at the start. Clare is very professional & as an ex-nurse, knows & understands the physiology of the human body. She demonstrates all exercises & takes the time to ensure you are doing the exercises correctly, holding the right form etc to build confidence in the use of all the different weights & equipment. I have been a client of Clare’s for 10 months. I have surprised myself how much I enjoy my PT sessions with her, despite the early starts.. not only can I see the difference, I can feel the difference, I am so much fitter than I used to be & the upshot is I can now run further than ever before without stopping & gasping for breath. If you’re looking to achieve your goals in loosing weight and/or getting fit, Clare is your answer.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Clare's classes for the past 8 years, the past 3 years by zoom due to the pandemic. She's a great and encouraging teacher ,checking that we are doing the moves correctly. I do feel more energized after my zoom class I do miss attending whenever I've had planned appointments, and even logged in to the classes when I went on holiday.

Fantastic experience: Clare is fantastic! The best exercise class I've ever had. I could feel myself getting fitter and stronger within a couple of weeks and I love her style of teaching as she invests time with classmates explaining techniques so it almost feels like a personal training session, this makes the classes excellent value for money too as well as being reassuring. Clare's pilates classes have done wonders for my confidence and she's a lovely person too.

Fantastic experience: I have found Clare's class really good. It’s challenging but she does have various options depending on your experience and capabilities. Clare is very attentive and advises if you need to adjust to get the most out of the exercise. I would recommend it for all levels and especially if you’re new to Pilates.

Fantastic experience: I have attend Clare's Pilates classes in Sands on and off over the last few years and have always thoroughly enjoyed them. It's a very welcoming space for beginners and Clare is always very attentive and makes sure that you're doing the moves correctly to ensure you're getting the full effect. As well as good for the body I find it great for the mind and it's lovely to switch off for an hour to stretch my body. If you're even thinking about it, I would suggest giving it a go - you won't regret it!
Fantastic experience: Clare is a legend. I have been using her as my PT for about 10 years and I can honestly say she has kept me at me fittest level for years - without her I would slip back into bad habits (I know this as I’ve had to stop a few times but I’ve always gone back..!) She is a brilliant role model and I am the fittest I have ever been - at the age of 50.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Clare’s Pilates class for over 8 years. Came as I had an ongoing back issue and was feeling my age. Within 6 months, back problem had gone completely and except for the occasional twinge has never returned. The pilates exercises are challenging but really good for building core strength particularly if you are, like me, facing the menopause in all its stages. It is a really friendly group with many people attending for many years. We all work hard in each class, no slacking! but at our individual level. Clare gives extra attention and support to newbies, so they are confident to do each particular exercise.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Clare for 18 months and absolutely love the class! My class is on zoom once a week. Clare trains us as if we are in the studio picking up on technique and making sure we are working to our full potentional. She has a great work ethic. You get great results and have a wonderful feeling of achievement once it is over!
Fantastic experience: Recently joined Clare’s Pilates course at Cores End. She soon spots when I haven’t got something right and quickly corrects my position. After 4 weeks I’m already feeling the benefit of greater flexibility.

Fantastic experience: I started doing Clare’s Pilates classes online during the lockdowns. She is very flexible about how the lessons are done - you can go in person or, like me, continue online. She sends a link every week, so I can do the class when I like (and more than once if I feel super keen!). I am so much stronger than I used to be, especially in my arms and core - great for a middle aged woman! She has a great manner - firm but encouraging. Fantastic experience: I have been doing Clare's Pilates classes for over 16 years now. There was a hiatus during Covid but it just made me realised how brilliant Clare's classes really are, she is attentive, safe but pushes you to try harder when she knows you can manage it. I returned in Sept 2022 and am beginning to feel myself once again, the muscle definition is returning, yay, goodbye floppy bits.!!! My body literally sighed a breath of relief when I went back. Clare is the BEST!!

Fantastic experience: Clare is my personal trainer. She created a targeted workout plan for my specific goals (tone legs/bum and strengthen arms). When I exercise, she's great at correcting the (many!) mistakes in my form - I would not be able to recognise these issues myself. I also like working out in her private home gym because I don't have space for big exercise machines at home. In terms of personality, she's friendly, motivational, and easy to work with. I would happily recommend hiring Clare as a PT.
Fantastic experience: I have been training with Clare for nearly two years. I started with weak shoulders, wobbly knees and a desire to keep my weight at a manageable, acceptable level. She has succeeded on all fronts and I feel so much better for it. I am much more aware of trying to keep up my fitness levels and would recommend anyone to give it a try.
Fantastic experience: I attended 1-2 personal training with Claire. It was great to work with her - I enjoyed the hard work and the discipline. It's a shame I was only around for four weeks (four sessions) however managed to lose half a stone!
Fantastic experience: Clare has been an inspirational teacher, helping me to regain strength, stamina and flexibility after many years of not exercising adequately. I have had other Pilates teachers, but none as knowledgeable as Clare. She knows how to adapt difficult exercises for every ability yet also demands the best from each of her students. I may regret saying this, but I wish I could do her Pilates class every day of the week!

Fantastic experience: once I started doing Clare’s Pilates class I was amazed at the changes I saw from doing her very targeted exercises. My clothes fit differently and I feel much stronger. Her class is also a really fun part of my week- she has a great sense of humor! I definitely consider her class a gift to myself!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Clare's pilates classes for 8 months. She is very welcoming and the classes are a good balance of stretching and more challenging exercises. Clare is good at keeping the class on track and I imagine she would be good in the personal trainer role, both technically and motivationally.

Fantastic experience: Since starting with Claire l feel immensely fitter and stronger. I reached my target goal with the help and encouragement of Claire. Instead of eating a lot of unhealthy junk food, Claire set up a daily calorie limit and keeping a food diary really helped me a lot l achueved great results from Claire every week. She is a fantastic trainer, warm, kind, thoughtful and genuine. I would highly recommend Claire to anyone, so much better than going to the gym any day. She is the best if the best.

Fantastic experience: Clare is an execellent personal trainer. Not only did I lose over 5 stone in a year but I also went on to run two marathons. I’m now in training for an ultra marathon (63miles). All of this would not have been possible without her.

Fantastic experience: I have been in partner training sessions with Clare once a week for nearly 2 years. I started going to regain some level of fitness...and lost two dress sizes in the process! Clare is a great trainer...as an ex-RGN I knew from the start I was in safe hands. She still manages to keep me motivated after all this time and she is only scary sometimes....which she balances well with a great sense of humour and some very well-told stories which make 'treadmill time' go quicker (thankfully!) Well worth the 6am alarm every Wednesday...
Fantastic experience: I attended Clare's Thursday afternoon Pilates class for quite a few years and had to stop due to work commitments. I've just started back again and the results I've seen in a month, prove to me that Pilates not only helps tone muscles, but more interestingly, helps you lose weight. Knowing my tendency to take things easy, Clare fully understands my ability levels and knows how to ensure I get full benefit from the class. There are many instructions to remember in Pilates, which usually results in smoke coming out of my ears, but Clare patiently explains again and again. If you want to see results, I would thoroughly recommend this class
Fantastic experience: I first started going to Clare's Wednesday Pilates class shortly after the birth of my twins. I just wanted an hour to myself and heard that Pilates was a good way to improve my core muscles. Over five years later, I am still attending as my body is now stronger and firmer. I started going as I have problems with trapped nerves in my lower back and my doctor suggested that I try Pilates ... what a great recommendation, my back now feels so much better and stronger. Clare is a great teacher and always makes us work hard but in a really fun environment, I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a Pilates workout to strengthen and tone all areas of the body, not just the back.
