Negative experience: Im literally shocked how this clinic treats there wowcher customers. I went in for filler dissolver and several weeks on the dissolver has done absolutely nothing the asthetician Dr Maryam hardly pierced the skin and I have had filler dissolver before and there is a slight stinging sensation but nothing I looked at the syringe before she used it and she hardly used a dot absolutely terrible. I should of read the reviews but sadly never and upon reading these practically all of the Wowcher people who used this clinic was dissatisfied WITH THIS CLINIC because they hardly use there products that they should be absolutely shameful and before you say I can't find you on our system it's because I use a different name. So people be WARNED DO NOT GO HERE ESPECIALLY USING WOWCHER OFFERS PLEASE Please BE CAREFUL .

Fantastic experience: I have now been seeing MARYAM for over 8 years , I consider her my friend . it’s so important to have trust in your practitioner and she has mine 100 pour-cent . Yes at times you may have to wait but that’s only because she is so popular but more importantly she makes sure that everyone is happy when they leave her office . She doesn’t rush . I am so surprised and I I paied alot of money and waited since 12 pm on Sunday till 11pm to get that done.i will have a forward complain because this place is100% not legally

Fantastic experience: I have been using Maryam for almost two years, and I will not go anywhere else. Her empathy and kindness shine through always, as I have a tendency to get a bit teary as I am not a fan of needles. The results are fantastic; I have had botox, filler and tear trough and have always been very happy with the final look she crafts for me. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Okay first of all, I really don't give poor ratings or reviews very often unless it really warrants a review, however, my honest experience was less than satisfactory. Dr Maryam has a very nice personality, professional etc but when it comes to the treatment I had and the after effects of the treatment were just not worth it, at all. I purchased a dermal filler for 2ml, I requested two treatments from that, I recieved them but none of them were above satisfactory. Now, I am NOT new to fillers I have had them done before multiple times and let me tell you the TYPE and brand of filler IS important despite what other people have said here. I normally stick to just one practitioner who has always given me a really good lovely result, but I thought why not try someone new this time? So I purchased the Wowcher voucher which cost about £159 and got nasiolabial folds done (1ml) and a slight eyebrow lift with botox. Initially the nasiolabial folds filler looked nicely when I left the practice, it did look a little bit swollen after a couple of days but now two weeks later its mostly gone. I also got botox lift done for my brows and I have had this before, and as soon as you have it done it normally leaves a bulge right at the top (this botox I had done never did!). Now, it's been about 2 weeks and I quite wholeheartedly do not see a single change in my eyebrows being lifted. As for the nasiolabial fold filler, at first after a few days it looked awful, but now it settles it doesn't look so bad. I asked to take a look at the brand name of the filler and I believe its a super cheap Korean brand. I've had revolax, and restylane before and I'd always get a lovely result. I won't be coming back here, but I do wish Dr Maryam the best!

For general information, brand of filler does not reflect how good or bad a filler is. It's the concentration of the hyaluronic acid that determines how much water it can absorb and hence the volume it can create. We always tend to use fillers that give most volume. The brands you mentioned unfortunately are not volumising. They are commonly used by beauticians who want to avoid creating lumps.
Also the eyebrow lift you can achieve with botox is not so significant and we're certain this was explained to you during your consultation.

Negative experience: My sister Reem Balubaid and I have been to this clinic two years ago when they had no system. I had complications and cysts, which I have been treating since then, and I had to have them removed surgically eventually by another Dr. Because nothing dissolved it. All of this trouble was from the filler ’Monalisa’ that Dr Maryam uses. She was also rude and unprofessional with us. Worst experience ever... Stay away from this clinic while u can.

Why do I have a Missed Call from Dr. Maryam when I first posted this Review , since you claim that you have never treated me and my sister Rana!!!!! Negative experience: My mum booked me a massage through wowcher for a massage at this place. When j arrived it was slightly hard to find but was fine once you read the instructions. On arrival I was left to wait (I was early) and ushered through to the room on time. The room did not feel clean and for a massage did not feel wry calming or welcoming. It felt that someone had just thrown in a massage table into someone's office. I was asked to undress and lay under the towel, in when she also asked if I had any medical problems etc. Not that this would have mattered as the masseuse had no idea how to massage. As I laid under the towel a man entered the room at this point it became clear that he would be doing the massage. At no point did anyone mention this - I have had massages before and this usually is a standard comment to make - I would have rescheduled had I of known. Ah soon as the massage started it was clear that he has NO idea on how to massage someone. The pressure was wrong and it just felt as though he was making it up as he went along. I felt very uncomfortable and intimidated the whole way through and was very happy when he said okay and left the room - I assumed that this meant the massage was over. The telephone rang twice whilst I had my massage and the whole experience left me more stressed than when I arrived. Would not recommend or advise anyone to go to this seedy place.
Dear Charli. Nice to hear that your mum booked the massage for you as she must have liked the service we offer. It is also great that you point out we provide clear instructions for how to enter our building on Harley Street, as the buildings on Harley Street are historical yet beautiful. Most people who come to Harley Street come for the unique experience and they want to see how wonderful they truly are. Once inside there are 3 reception areas. The main reception is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. There are two other reception areas outside our main clinic room where clients can sit comfortably and enjoy informative brochures as well as warm beverages. As you pointed out our therapists do everything they can to see the clients on time. There are photos of the room on our website. The room is cleaned everyday even on weekends. Furthermore, please note that our premise is a clinic and NOT a massage parlour. Therefore we endeavour to maintain hygiene standards according to CQC. We make every effort to make the room feel calming and welcoming by playing soft massage music, have low lighting in the background as well as candles. We do not have a massage table. It is a medical couch which is more comfortable than a massage table. Also the height can be adjusted so the massage therapists are able to provide the massage more effectively. Again we must emphasise that it is NOT an office but a warm, welcoming and beautiful clinic in an amazing location, the famous Harley Street. It is imperative that massage therapists always check your health status as there are certain conditions when they are not allowed to go ahead with the therapy such as in cases of uncontrolled high blood pressure, history of cancer or DVT. All our therapists are highly qualified and know exactly where to massage. We encourage all our clients to tell the therapist if they prefer more or less pressure, and if they require more focus on certain areas. We have a number of massage therapists, both male and female. This is not uncommon practice. Many places offer male masseuse. If you had mentioned that you were not comfortable with this, we would have been happy to get a female therapist or reschedule for you. With regards to the telephone, since the main reception is closed on weekends, when clients buzz, it comes through directly to our clinic, which is how we are able to let clients into the building. This is Harley Street. The street has a well established reputation for offering the best services in outstanding environments. I'm sure you would agree that is far from 'seedy'.
Fantastic experience: Dr Maryam is an amazing lady, I am having prp treatments for my hair with her at the moment and can honestly say I wouldn't have them done anywhere else or with anyone else, she is so kind, so professional and so considerate, I would not trust another Doctor with such a delicate procedure. I am always welcomed and treated so well when I come to You Glo. Everyone here is so friendly. I would highly recommned You Glo to anyone looking for a truly professional experience. Dr Maryam knows exactly what she is talking about and is such an expert in her field, she can answer any questions I may have with complete confidence giving me confidence in knowing I am having my treatments done by a true professional who completely knows her craft.

Negative experience: Really awful service, no understanding of professionalism, and money hungry. Used to go regularly but once I wanted to remove all my filler (which is a free service) I was treated awfully. I had to wait 2 hours in the waiting room because Maryam refused to give me a time slot and was ignored completely, only acknowledged customers who were there for payed services. Once I got in there was no greeting or hello. Just sit on the bed and went in straight for my lips with a needle, no numbing cream or talk. when I enquired about numbing cream, she denied me and lied that dissolving shouldn't be numbed. I went to a more professionsal doctor a couple weeks back who dissolved part of my filler and waited 20 minutes for the cream to settle before so I know this is false. She clearly wanted me to feel alot of pain as she saw me as a nuissance. my appointment was rushed and lasted 10 minutes.I was left in tears from the pain and how awfully I was treated, this woman is disgusting.

I would like to clarify a few points;
1. Dissolving the filler is not a free service in general. If you look on the YouGlo website (http://youglo.co.uk/product/hyalase/) it clearly states that Hylase (Filler correction) is £300 and I did mention this to you, however, given that you were a regular client I decided to offer this as complimentary. It was clearly explained to you beforehand that as this is a free treatment, clinic time would not be booked but that you would be seen in between the clients on that day. You agreed and were happy to wait.
2. With regards to the numbing cream, clearly the doctor you consulted lacks knowledge about how lidocaine works as it can cause vasodilation and inflammatory reaction leading to significant swelling. This means the filler becomes less prominent. The risk in this case is that the hyalase injected will dissolve your lips rather than the filler. Interestingly you mention the doctor 'dissolved part of your filler', which confirms that the numbing cream does in fact interfere with dissolving the filler.
Here at YouGlo we strive to offer the best customer service with every client and I am sorry you were still unsatisfied despite our best efforts.

Fantastic experience: I went to Maryam at YouGlo in August this year, what a fantastic experience!! They were easy to find, the door was answered straight away and I was directed to the waiting room. Maryam came out to greet me and acknowledge I was there, advising me how long she would be. I was really nervous but I was immediately put at ease and had every confidence in her. My treatment was tailored to my needs and not just carried out as exactly what I had booked. It’s coming up to Christmas and looking forward to booking another treatment!!

Fantastic experience: I love the plasma treatment and the BOTOX. I have been coming regularly for years and have had great result every time. Negative experience: So not happy with the end results of my lips after having lip fillers .... at first the dr was kind enough to dissolve some previous lumps, but wasn't professional enough to know that you shouldn't dissolve and inject fillers at the same time! Ended up coming again to fix this problem, and still didn't get fixed and ended with assymetrical lips, which i have never had before although i had fillers 3 times before with different doctors !!

Negative experience: I went there for botox and my experince was very bad. First of all , it is expensive. Second, the Dr is not professional at all, she does not accept anything and as soon as we started talking she rolls her eyes and gets defensive. I ended with a fight with her and did not like what she done for me.

Firstly, our Dr charged you our regular price of £180 for one area, however as you were demanding to have another area done, we did not do this as you were not willing to pay for this. The price we charge for our treatments reflect the expertise from one of the best doctors on Harley Street. Just to add, when you came to us, the previous 'doctor' that charged you £80 had left your friends with lumps in their lips; our Dr was kind enough to dissolve the lumps free of charge (Usual price £230). Finally, our Dr's will try their best to meet your expectations, however if your expectation is unrealistic or will cause further harm and damage to you, then they will not go through with the treatment. If you read through our other reviews, you will see that previous clients we're happy and glad to have listened to our Dr's advice. If you still like to get Botox for another area and willing to pay for the treatment, then please give us a call and we will book you in. Thanks

Negative experience: It is very bad and unprofessional. I bought a wowcher already and I booked at 6:30 I was 10 earlier for my appointment and she ler me wait 80 minutes out only because she had Saudi Arabian clients inside and after she let me came in the treatment was terrible. So i asked for refund and she refused.

This seems very unusual, as we never allow our clients to wait for longer than 30 mins if we're running behind. However, if on the rare occasion we do run behind, we will always inform our clients to come back within 30 mins, so at least they would not need to wait around.

Fantastic experience: My experience with youglo was pleasant efficient and accommodating to say the least. My 2 young kids & I were made to feel comfortable & reassured while having blood tests. Not a tear in sight. At least not from my kids. While I was given a head massager & relaxing music & the laughter of my kids to distract me from a pin prick! Thank you all :)
Fantastic experience: You Glo were very professional and friendly. I was a few minutes late and they were understanding too, which was appreciated after a slight delay at work! I was very happy with the standard of treatment and also the advice they were able to offer on nail aftercare.
Negative experience: If I could have chosen 0 star I would have. This is what happened when I bought a voucher for YouGlo via Wowcher: Bought the wowcher, tried to book, website and telephone lines went into meltdown. Forgot about it for a few weeks. Went online in January to book couldn't find any availability any day any time. Called them. they explained they only had a few slots available either at 9am or 9pm before the expiry date of 23 February but they would extend the deadline for me. My husband works shifts so we eventually settled on 4.30pm on Sunday 20 March. Hey ho, more than two months away but never mind, something to look forward to. Nearer the time I booked lunch at the Roux Brothers at the Landau, close by, so we could make a day of it. On the morning of the 20 March I thought I would call them and confirm booking as it had been over 2 months since the booking. They had no record of our booking and then pointed out that the wowcher had expired and there was nothing they could do. Despite emails to and fro and various phone calls they would not budge and we have lost our money. To add insult to injury they have had the cheek to tell Wowcher I have redeemed the voucher. So they have cashed in on the money and I have lost on the money. It's so obvious I have not tried to pull a fast one, but they have indeed.

It is unfortunate that we were unable to honour your voucher but as was explained on the phone and via email, every client receives an email confirmation for their booking, As you had not received an email confirmation, it means your booking was not processed in January, most likely because the date and time was not confirmed. We can assure you that we did not redeem your voucher as we only redeem vouchers once booking is made and confirmed. And as mentioned through correspondence with yourself, we are only able to extend the expiry of the voucher once we have redeemed it. Note that as a courtesy we offered you the same treatment at the price you paid for the voucher, but you chose to decline.

Negative experience: As many other people, I had a very bad experience with You Glow. Booked way in advance on their online booking system and an hour before my booking I received a phone call from them saying that they have double booking and ''the other person will not reschedule full stop'', no apology for that, just gave me another date in January. Obviously i didnt accept that as I presume if they treating the customer this way, their treatments are not better standard.

Negative experience: I can only agree with everyone else's negative reviews on here. I bought my mum a massage with YouGlo and it turned out to be the worst one she'd ever had. Not only was the masseuse unskilled at massaging, but there was a general lack of professionalism and customer service. The head massage was not even a massage, just a light prodding at her scalp. And another member of staff wondered in and out freely. Afterwards, my mum emailed twice express to her disappointment and politely ask for a refund, or at least an apology. Check out the reply below. Refund or no refund, this company seem to place absolutely no importance on customer satisfaction, or even basic politeness. Avoid them, they are absolutely rubbish. Dear Angie We have looked through your email and have decided there is no refund due. Here are a list of reasons why: 1. You decided to go ahead with the treatment even though you were unhappy about the masseuse turning up late 2. You had the option of stopping the treatment and asking for a refund after about 15 minutes when you were aware of the door opening and noises and saw another lady at the computer. 3. Positive experience: I was late as I have never been there before but got a next appointment, I got there on time the next day was in the waiting room for 30mins or more then was told to go outside next door a press the buzzer I thought very strange, got buzzed in and had no idea were I was to go, so I just went up tell I heard a lady say up here, ok then I got shone into a room very clean and large was glad then after getting the wowcher bit out the way she told me to get under the towels then she came back in asked me if I got eny prolems with my back or if there's pain enywere, I told her that I had pulled a ligament in my leg and she did work on the leg more it was I bit painful but after it felt a lot better she gave me good advice and ask if I'd like to rebook I could, I love the atmosphere only once I was in that room but downstairs was not very nice the staff was in the back room laughing about something and it was not very professional.

Fantastic experience: I first came to YouGlo because I didn't have any confidence in my skin. I just turned 34 and I felt I was looking older than my age. I visited the clinic and was offered a variety of options. I had Botox and fillers with them and I look amazing. I'm so pleased with the results and I would definitely recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: While the Baker Street room was fairly hard to find the service was great! I had an hour and a half pamper session (booked through groupon) and the masseuse was lovely! Couldn't get through on the phones to book originally so emailed and response was fast. A recommendation would be an online booking system, but apart from that everything was perfect!
Negative experience: It was really awful experience!!! I really stunned by the terrific experience!!! Read it if you want to know more: 1. It wasn't Harley Street as was advertised, instead it was Baker Street 100% rented a few rooms for a month below the pharmacy. Plus there is given around 5 phone numbers - NON of them working or not going through.. 3. They didn't change the towels on the table from many people who came before me! I saw all 3 towels so dirty! I would say they was using it minimum a week with no changing and even not touching them!!! Obviously I ask them to change, so, they did. 4. I was late 20min, ok. For massage supposed to be 40min, I am not complaining about it BUT :) I had massaged only 20min!!! At the beginning 10min they was registering me, checking on the system, looking and changing for new towels.. And then she said 'massage finish' 10min earlier! I can’t believe it 5. Maybe because outside already man was waiting. And guess what? After me THEY HAVEN'T CHANGE TOWELS for new customer! 6. I told her about my injury (lower back area) which was already fixed but still there. I just let her know. And she answer: 'Ok, then I won’t be touching there.' lol professional lady 7. About the massage: She was no idea what to do, how to do and where to do! No pushing power at all! Her oil she was keeping 3-4 steps from the table, so all the time she was walking back and forward. Music was to loud. She even didn't cover all the body areas with the massage. Oh, and, she even sit down during this long 20min massage! 8. They even didn't say to me 'thank you' or 'bye' and I am not talking about a question 'How did you like the massage?'... Latter she just quickly passed me and told to new customer: 'Hi, your turn, please come in'. 9.Plus they start to send me every day some advertising about the massage and charity events! Its really horrible service and experience!

Negative experience: Terrible! This company is not practising legally. It recorded us changing our clothes without out knowledge. Highly unprofessional and illegal practice.
This is simply not true. This client came in for a dermafiller treatment, so there was no need to change their clothes. The client later worked with YouGlo and is clearly unhappy that the working arrangement has ended.
Fantastic experience: After reading the other review just wanted to share my experience. Yes Living Social did cancel the deal and I received a full refund from them. However YouGlo offered me appointments so I haven't missed out. I have been for two appointments so far and the service from Maryam at YouGlo is great. Not only do I feel good getting the massage from Maryam but I also get a consultation and advice on anti-aging, skincare, body and health.
Negative experience: I was given a gift for 5 massage sessions from Living Social in YouGlo more than 2 months ago. I contacted them by email to arrange my first appointment. Received a reply that they are very busy due high demands and said they will contact me as soon as possible to arrange the sessions. One month later no reply. I wrote them again, finally session was arranged in two weeks time on Sunday, I sent a confirmation email to them. Have arrived on the date and time stated in the email to find out I was not booked in meaning there was a double booking. Additionally, LivingSocial apparently cancelled the deal and I should have received a refund and now need to pay them directly, but same price. I have wasted my time with all the emails and waiting to get an appointment and then coming all the way to be told I am not scheduled. I am very disappointed to say the least. This is very unprofessional service. I should have been informed about deal cancellation and should have been given an option to still come for sessions and pay directly or cancel all of it altogether. If such services cannot be managed properly after posting online deals to attract more customers than those deals should not be posted at all, I hope management of YouGlo will take this into consideration to avoid anybody else to have similar experience in the future.
