Negative experience: Just recently called to make an appointment, however unfortunately I was told that I was black listed because I cancelled one appointment in 2012. I cancelled in good time because of a bereavement, I just didn’t not show up ?! The owner called me back after looking at my notes again, to give me a lecture, and was talking to me with so much entitlement, I was so shocked with her reaction I decided that I simply couldn’t have a treatment with this person. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Edwige is absolutely incredible and so accommodating. Her clinic space is so calming, clean, and very-well kept. I cannot recommend her or her practice enough. Fantastic experience: This is a great place to have colonic hydrotherapy. And both the open and closed systems are available here. I opted for the open system. The pre treatment consultation is thorough, and the treatment room itself was spotless and completely private with zero embarrassment. The care is professional. There’s even an array of drinks in the waiting room for afterwards, should you wish to sit before heading off. Edwige provides an important service here :-)

Fantastic experience: I came across 4 Balance and Health 5 years ago as I was looking for a clinic with a nutritionist I could start a Detox programme with. This is my place to go to since then. Life can be hectic in an urban environment like London. Edwige’s consultation takes you through the steps that you will need to take before you commit to it. I enjoyed her presentation very much being a visual person, as it helped me seeing myself already doing it. By the end of the consultation, I went ahead with it and signed for the 5 days Waning Detox programme. She sent me away with the Waning Detox calendar including all the appointments for treatments. She also gave me the step by step protocol from the Waning Detox booklet to complete the programme. I have been using it on a regular basis ever since and even enjoyed the 7 days Waning Detox programme too. I found Edwige’s Waning Detox programme to be extremely friendly in its approach and easy to complete. She makes sure the whole process is an adventure rather than a chore. The programme is well structured and I always look forward to it. I particular like the rituals that she incorporated into it. Edwige is all about consicousness expansion and you will learn a thing or two about yourself while going through the fasting journey. Fantastic experience: I visited Edwige at 4 Balance and Health for the 1st time to have a colonic around the Fall of 2017. I was looking for a way to enhance my health back then. Edwige mentioned her program that she offered at the clinic. I committed to one hour consultation at the end of that year in order to understand what the program entailed. By January 2018 I then embarked on her Waning Detox program and so did my wife. I have been enjoying her program ever since and used it once to twice a year. It is a very friendly and comprehensive programme which she made sure you can go back to with ease. I like the flexibilty of it. As a beginner back in 2017, she put me on the 3 days program but very quickly I found out that my confidence with it grown to the point where I could easily enjoy 7 days of fasting or longer. I can call myself an experienced faster now ! I gained so much energy and motivation from it. I also enjoyed Edwige’s support through the process as I get to see her and benefit from the different treatments that comes with the Waning Detox program. We always have great chats and I leave feeling energised. Thank you Edwige for all that you do and see you soon!

Fantastic experience: Edwige is magical! She is an experienced professional, very patient and intuitive; her clinic is clean and comfortable. I carried out the Waning Detox in August during 5 days and it proved to be an effective kickstart to my Detox journey. After it, I felt lighter, less bloated and healthier; it helped me reset some health patterns which were long dormant. Fantastic experience: My experience with Edwidge has been amazing. The clinic itself is relaxing, discreet and has a calming energy. I had issues with my gut after suffering from gastrointestinal issues when I had the stomach flu, and I had been having issues with my digestion in the past. The treatments have had a positive impact and I am also taking the probiotics which were recommended to me by the clinic. Negative experience: I went to Edwige for my first colonic last month, it went well. She was available for any questions afterwards. I'm going for again for my second colonic and LBA. I went for my second one and updating my review, she kept saying I have CANCER and I freaked out because she sounded so certain. She said she would follow up but she didn’t even answer my questions. My doctor said she shouldn’t practice!

Fantastic experience: I’ve wanted to try a colonic for a few years now, but felt embarrassed about ringing up. Some of the web sites gave the impression that it wasn’t for me. As soon as I found 4 Balance and Health I knew this was the one. I even got an appointment the same day. No time like the present! Speaking to Edwige on the phone, I felt quite comfortable, and I knew I was dealing with someone who took pride in their work. This was confirmed as soon as we met, as she’s so positive and upbeat. Although my first colonic was at the old location in Shoreditch, the new office is even better. It feels personal, not mainstream. The entire place is clean and tidy as well, and the rooms are furnished properly; I mean, it doesn’t feel like you’re propped up on a table in a spare room, or ‘out back.’ The procedure was explained to me clearly, I was given plenty of opportunities to ask any questions, and I was shown the equipment. You’re given a disposable gown to change into (for the closed system) or a towel to cover up with (for the open system.) That made me feel much better as I was concerned about how I’d be covered up. I didn’t have to question any dignity or discretion. You’re left alone to get changed and buzz when you’re ready. There’s no rushing around, as Edwige is patient. The colonic itself is not painful. There is a little discomfort at first, but I found you adjust to the sensation and the rest of the procedure is quite pleasant, and actually very natural. I know people do mock colonics for what’s involved, but for me, it didn’t feel invasive, or even peculiar. (Well perhaps it felt a little different – I’m human after all!) During the colonic, you spend most of the time talking to Edwige about any, and everything, which takes you mind off things. Not that you need distracting, but I find this helps. Music (like the chillout genre) plays softly, so if you’re not feeling loquacious; just relax and listen to your body. One thing I like is halfway during the colonic, the procedure is stopped, the lights are dimmed, and you’re left alone for around five minutes to relax before continuing the rest of the session. I find this little touch really helps as you’re not rushed, and there’s no pressure to get you in and out quickly. Take as long as you need, and buzz when you’re ready to carry on. The practice is by appointment only, so you don’t have to worry about the public milling around, and although it’s on the first floor, the office is clearly signposted and the buzzer to get in the door works, so you’re not left stranded. This may sound silly, but the last thing you’d want is to be banging on the door or asking around, how to I get in? I find that fairly off-putting. I would recommend Edwige and 4 Balance and Health not only for the care, pride and professionalism shown, but because you are made to feel welcome. The experience is tailored to yourself, and I imagine not the same for every one else. You couldn’t ask for more. There’s such a great vibe to the place. I look forward to future appointments with Edwige. What a fantastic place. I’m so glad I’ve experienced this. Please, don’t be put off. I’m sure you’ll love it!

Fantastic experience: A good colonic with Coffee Enema with no fuss, just what i wanted. Comfortable, relaxing and secluded surroundings. Great attention payed to privacy and hygiene, the colonic was administered with due sensitivity at all times. The accompanying abdominal massage was effective in aiding the colonic process. I plan to go again and recommend the Coffee Enema because of the sensible price. The location is just around the corner from a London Underground station and the area is not too busy on a week day so no stress in getting there.

Fantastic experience: I had the best experience with my colonic therapy! I'd had a treatment a year before in my hometown, and found 4 Balance and Health online hoping to rid of some of my candida and parasites. My session with Edwige was very relaxing and rejuvenating. Unlike my previous treatment at another clinic, she walked me through all the steps and truly made me feel at ease with the entire procedure. Thoroughly recommend it!
