Negative experience: Booked an appointment to be seen by GP but receptionist sent me to paramedics. I did not need paramedics and never asked to be seen by them. Negative experience: Horrible experience, we've just moved to Derby with my 8 weeks old daughter and we registered at this practice. Daughter still has not been seen although I was informed someone would be in contact with me. Daughter is now 9 weeks and 5 days still no contact. I myself suffer from back pain since giving birth and required a letter from the GP confirming that and was told I would need a occupational assessment to write that which they don't provide. Definitely moving from them.

Fantastic experience: I was happy with my last appointment because of the professionalism of the doctor who attended to. Since last year, I have suffered from light headedness and I was now loosing my balance a lot which has taken away my independent after suffering from a stroke. Everyone before has looked into my ear and said nothing was wrong. She looked there and said I had fluid bulging in my ear. She put me on amoxicillin and advised me to vaporise. This has changed and improved my health and my condition. After a week, I am able to carry out chores and I hope it keeps improving. I think my fluid is draining day by day. I wish she had seen me months before. I would like to say thank you for helping me get my life back. Please keep doing what you did for me to other people too. Well done .

Fantastic experience: Great service. Fast appointments, always got a same day appointment as long as you call early in the morning. Really appreciate how good the system works and the option to queue for a call without being on-hold, as they will call you back. Location is also very central and requests are processed quickly too, including when I registered here. Nurses, doctors, and receptionists are very friendly too. Received follow-up calls quickly. Negative experience: My appointment was for 10 15 I checked in before my appointment time and was told to wait in the waiting area. 45 minutes later the receptionist called my name out only to tell me that I should be upstairs and the machine gave me incorrect information. Positive experience: The advanced nurse practitioner I saw was amazing, so helpful and friendly. My only bug bear regarding my visit was.. after checking in at the self check in kiosk/screen and receiving a 'you have checked in successfully' message, I went and took my seat in the waiting area. But apparently you are supposed to wait longer at the screen for the next page to appear as it tells you what floor you need to go to, nothing on the successful check in screen tells you there is more information to come. Ended up sat in the wrong waiting area. Feels like it should be an easy fix which would help the surgery run more efficiently.

Negative experience: I have had a appaointment at Horizon Health pharmacy , my experience is very bad comparitively , my wife going to midwife and she even dont upload the reports on Badger notes neither giving ,not explaining. I spoke many time always she having lame excuses that will be uploade shortly but , we cant see even a single reports . Her behaviour is also so rude . I will not recommend this surgery to any one . Before this in Southampton they were very polite and supportive , every thing was online since we move out surgery here , they dont upload niether sending via email .

Positive experience: Horizon healthcare has had a lot of negative feedback over the last few years due to the ever changing NHS services which were inevitably changed due to the pandemic. People felt lost and didn't know what to do, they wanted what they were used to and had been used to all there lives... That just wasn't possible during covid19 and now we come out the other side with a whole new way of running things! My experiences since 2020, on the whole have been positive, my only negative is there is no continuity of care anymore and that's quite sad, each GP you see has no idea about your history and sometimes, some doctors just don't listen? We live in a different world and unfortunately it's not a very caring one. It can be pot luck with the call centre girls too, some are lovely & understanding, others cold and methodical. The pharmacists linked to horizon healthcare are the best ever and process requests really fast which I always do on my NHS app! I feel sorry for the elderly population, they have been completely left behind by the technology we now have to use for GP and hospital appointments, I just hope & pray that they ALL have someone willing to help them manoeuvre their way through the miriad of booking systems we now have?

Fantastic experience: It was a brilliant experience from start to finish. In the past it has taken me over 400 attempts to get through, but on this occasion I got through after only took 2 attempts which is a huge improvement. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner was kind and thorough as she very patiently listened to my explanation of what my problem was which was followed by an examination resulting in a diagnos of Shingles. Positive experience: I explained my situation and none of what I stated was documented on my records. The person I saw was good and issued medication but still unwell as was given low dose meds. I do feel appointments need to be released in two stages morning and afternoon. Cus when you suffer certain illnesses and can not be awake in the morning it’s impossible to get an appointment and when you need antibiotics and get told to ring 8 am the next day it’s very hard
