Negative experience: AVOID, AVOID! Placed an order 8:30am on Thursday, paid express delivery and now Monday still no items. When i spoke to the lady on the phone to see why my order hasn't arrived and explained i would not be here to collect as i am going away for 4 days she said "Fine then, you will be refunded minus the delivery charge!" First of all she was rude and not helpful at all and secondly when i asked her what was the point of me paying express delivery if i still haven't got my items she just said "put it in an email" and she hung up. So if the courrier decides to just leave on my doorstep someone can just take my items?! NO customer service skills, don't value their customers....placed multiple orders of over £120 (just never had to pay for delivery until now) and this is how they treat their customers?? Never will i use their service again and my advice is stay away.

Negative experience: AVOID AVOID AVOID. Bought protein powder from this mob, which went OFF before its sell-by date by a full THREE MONTHS. Mixed powder started giving off an awful odour and I was getting really bad stomach cramps. First of all, they told me I should take it up with the manufacturer, before I informed them that they were the Trader under legal terms. Then they told me I just had a problem with the taste! I informed them time and time again that THE PRODUCT HAD GONE OFF (ie the taste was fine at the start but became spoiled). It was also a HEALTH RISK to consume their powder. I gave them multiple chances to resolve this issue but they kept telling me it wasn't their problem. Got so fed up that I reported them to Trading Standards under the Sale of Goods Act for supplying me a product that was not of satisfactory quality: failing in fitness for purpose, condition, safety and durability. Bad business. UPDATE AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE This here, readers, is what I have had to deal with. Circular, illogical excuses that accept no due responsibility whatsoever. Yes, when I opened the tub it was fine. No, I did not 'return to the product months later': the product quickly went bad - so quick in fact that it was a full three months before its expiry date. No, I could not 'use it within a set number of days' because it had become a health risk. Obviously. Yes, it was stored correctly. I have been training for 16 years and I have bought thousands of protein-powder products. I know how to store them correctly. Incidentally, this was the first tub I have ever purchased - among all the thousands in nearly two decades - that was a health risk. And Active Sports sold it to me. Listen, customers, do yourself a favour and just avoid this bunch. They have no sense of integrity at all and do not give one rep whether you get poisoned and keel over at the gym from their faulty goods. As long as you cough up the cash. Just an awful, awful business and terrible people all-round.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Customer Service. I had a large amount of problems when trying to order. I first made a mistake with my billing address. They sent me an email notifying me of this, unfortunately I didn't receive it. I then contacted the company, wondering where my order was. I was informed of the issue. Once I had contacted them regarding what to do about it, they were absolutely fantastic. They refunded my first order, by which time I had ordered from the again, and AGAIN making a mistake. I was then refunded for this second personal mistake within 24 hours of making it. So although I have not actually received any of the goods that I ordered, I received two full refunds as soon as the contact was made. They were very quick to help me and the service I received was fantastic. I will definitely be ordering from Active Sports Nutrition in the future. A special thanks to Jamie who was the member of staff that dealt with my emails and put up with my stupidity. Thanks ASN

Negative experience: Prices are a rip off - just found out that the protein I had bought (2kg Reflex Duo) costs 10 pounds less with competition. Shipping is economy (3-5 days), and if you want it faster, you need to upgrade - whereas most of the competitors offer Next day for free. Complete unwillingness to refund as well. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
