Fantastic experience: In the past few years I have struggled to loose weight. I was eating healthy majority of the time, drinking less and exercising more. All the things I had tried in past no longer worked. I was very frustrated… Then I found Karen Brindle. She looked at what was doing, and quickly guessed I was maintaining. In her masterclass she explains how our bodies have changed as we approach, go through and post menopause. She guided and directed me on what to do. For me it was some tweaks and changes. I have lost a stone in a few months and honestly have ate more and not deprived myself of any foods. People have noticed and commented on my weight loss. As it’s been steady so I don’t necessarily see it but I can feel when I wear my clothes. Karen is a specialist in her field but down to earth, honest and she is relatable. I would highly recommend x
Fantastic experience: I came across The Midlife Reset in 2002 after a friend replied to one of Karen's Facebook posts. The timing was perfect as my weight had crept up that year and I had already decided that I wanted to do something about it, but wasn't sure what to do. I started off by doing one of Karen's 5 day free challenges and then decided to pay for the 6 week programme, followed by some top up stints in her VIP group. The whole experience has been a revelation and I'm so glad that I've been through this journey with her. I've lost both weight and inches, and I've also gained so much information and understanding on nutrition and mindset. Fantastic experience: I joined the Midlife Reset nearly 10 weeks ago and it's changed my life completely. Karen is amazing, she's so knowledgeable on nutrition, and the effects that the menopause and peri menopause have on your body. I work full time and I care for my husband so I don't have a lot of time on my hands and I used to grab snacks/ crisps/ chocolate or anything to 'eat on the go' which wasn't giving me the nutrients I needed and I was still hungry!! Karen helped me set out a plan. We talked about the foods I liked, the best foods for me to be eating and avoiding. Karen suggested a few tweaks and ... Hey presto! I was organised! Prepping quick meals in advance for the next day, eating healthy delicious food, not suffering the hunger pangs or spending all day snacking and feeling sluggish, but instead, having energy and Losing Weight!! And my plan even let me eat Chocolate!! How great is that?? After having our 1:1 sessions I gained a new understanding of what nutrients my body craves and now I make healthy choices and feel great! xx
Fantastic experience: I saw Karen's posts on Facebook and they really resonated with me. I had been struggling to understand why the sudden weight gain and altered feelings I was having over the course of a year. I just didn't feel like myself anymore. Getting in touch with Karen was the best thing that I did ! I suddenly had answers and explanations to all the niggly things which had been happening. Fantastic experience: If like me you have tried every weight loss technique going and just continued to put on weight then Karen is the lady you need. She is amazing! She is so supportive but incredibly knowledgeable about women's midlife health. I was so confused by all the conflicting advice out there that I felt completely stuck but Karen helped me to change my mindset towards food with science backed information. No more guilt or feeling like I had no will power or motivation. She helped me with strategies to combat cravings and I've added so many new foods to my diet all of which have massively helped to improve my mood, energy, sleep and noticeably reduce my perimenopausal symptoms. I am a stone down in 8 weeks but can honestly say it's been easy to get to because I'm not on a restrictive diet. No counting calories or tracking every little thing I eat. Food is no longer a constant in my head but an enjoyable part of my day. Eating 80/20 gives me the freedom to eat what I like and still be able to go out and enjoy myself at the weekend because I now feel in control. I can't recommend Karen enough. She will absolutely get you on the right path and give you the tools and support you need to reach your goals. I did 3 1:1 sessions to get me started and then you get to join Karen and the lovely ladies in the VIP group who are all on the same journey but are a constant source of support, advice and ideas to keep you on track.

Fantastic experience: I have tried every diet and food plan going ,but have always fallen back on eating gallons of sugar. It’s been my problem as long as i can’t remember.Around Christmas my weight reached heights that i’d never seen before.I didn’t actually want to leave my house as i was so mortified about my weight. I was looking for something/anything to put me back on track and by chance i found Karen when i was browsing internet. I thought i have nothing to lose and got in touch with her. Ended it up dragging my friend along and we met Karen together. My only wish is that i’d met her sooner . Fantastic experience: I first met Karen at a menopause workshop and was really interested to learn more about her approach to midlife nutrition and how it can help address the symptoms of peri-menopause. Right from the initial consultation I felt supported and I got the reassurance I needed to start to take better care of my mental and physical health. I actually love good, nutritious food but my portions were not healthy. Undoing my 20+ years of slimming world brainwashing has been quite refreshing! I now have permission to eat certain foods, just in good healthy portions. I've also lost 6lbs in my first three weeks. Fantastic experience: Its a year since I met Karen. I was struggling with unpleasant perimenopause symptoms and weight gain. I was nervous initially, mainly due to low mood and self esteem. From our first telephone conversation, Karen put me at ease and gave me hope. I booked 5 1to1 sessions. Her passion, knowledge and understanding of nutrition and its effect on hormones in midlife women is amazing. And her enthusiasm is infectious. Following her principles and advice gave me amazing results, after just the first week, the weightloss and difference in my mood was remarkable. I continued to feel better week by week. The difference in my mood, energy, mindset and weight has given me my ‘old self’ back, something I thought the menopause had taken for good. And 1 year on I still feel great. The option of ongoing support is really helpful. I lost almost 3 stones and my weight has been stable for the last few months. Fantastic experience: I decided to seek Karen’s support after meeting her at my son’s school, she was delivering a menopause workshop which was incredibly informative and made so much sense. I wanted to find out more about nutrition, how to best fuel my body and how getting this right can help reduce menopausal symptoms and encourage weight loss. There is so much conflicting information out there about weight loss in midlife, I have done slimming world, weight watchers, dabbled with keto, tried fasting! But I never stick with anything because I never understood how or if it’s going to make me feel better and help me loose weight. THEN I MET KAREN HOORAY She has helped me understand the science behind good nutrition, the menopause and weight loss. I now understand how insulin works in my body, why good gut health is the key to happiness and how to reduce the symptoms of peri menopause by applying some simple tweaks to my lifestyle. What is best about Karen’s advice is that she does not promote a restrictive diet approach, in fact she is about adding more in to your diet, the right more! With her 80/20 approach I now know how to enjoy nutritional delicious healthy and balanced food 80% of the time whilst allowing 20% for the “treats”, for me that’s a few red wines and maybe a take away once a week! No restriction here, just an understanding of balance. If you have read this far then I suggest you take the plunge like me and make an appointment with Karen, you absolutely won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Karen has been a great support to me in improving my mindset when it comes to midlife health and diet. Karen is approachable, relatable and really knowledgeable on women's health. The advice is easy to follow and makes sense as it is all backed up by neuroscience. The Hypnotherapy has been an added bonus to help embed new habits. I started off with some 1:1 sessions, which were great for getting started and have continued with group support. I've found it really helpful to have accountability to stay on track. Fantastic experience: Karen has not only helped me lose weight, but she has radically changed my eating habits and choices, while not applying a restriction policy. I have now been in contact and under Karen’s guidance for a year and my choices are completely different, and vicariously, also those of my whole family. Fantastic experience: Karen is Amazing!!! I have battled with my weight my whole life and in recent years dealt with medical issues. I have tried every diet going and have been told by doctors I can't loose weight following removal of my thyroid. Fantastic experience: Karen is an amazing Weight Loss leader and I would recommend anyone unhappy about their weight to join her group! I started Ditch the Diet in January this year wanting to lose about a stone and have so far lost 17lbs and I am continuing to lose a little bit more. She is in inspirational leader, but also very fun, friendly and down to earth! And she looks gorgeous!!! Her regular “lives” are both educational and entertaining, and I make sure I listen to them all. I also love the hypnotherapy sessions which reinforce the healthy 80/20 way of life, and also inspire me to take exercise, at the same time as being very relaxing. As a busy teacher and Mum the 80/20 works brilliantly for me, especially as I like to socialise with meals out and wine at the weekend! I find I am eating more mindfully but have also enjoyed food more and if I have ever gone “off piste” and had, for example, an unplanned delicious lunch out, Karen’s sensible advice rings in my ears that it’s not the end of the world and I simply adjust my eating for the rest of the day accordingly. I am now back in skinny jeans and wearing clothes I’ve not worn in years...(as well as buying lots of new!) and will carry on with the 80/20 way of eating as it fits in my life easily....what’s not to love about a “diet” that encourages you to eat small amounts of quality dark chocolate, gives ideas for healthy delicious meals and takes into account real life while simultaneously delivering a slimmer body and a healthy way of life? Fantastic experience: Karen is just the most positive, smiley and motivating person I’ve ever met and it’s infectious! I’ve really enjoyed the 6 week programme and I’m actually sad it’s coming to an end however the tools and the change in my mindset have now become a part of my life. Fantastic experience: I’m coming to the end of Karen’s 6 week ditch the diet course and I couldn’t be happier with my results so far. Fantastic experience: Like so many people over lockdown I found my clothes getting tighter and they were not shrinking in the wash!! I gained a few extra lbs and needed to do something about it. My friend recommended this program and I wasn't disappointed. This isn't about looking at good and bad food, counting points or syns. It's about using a common sense approach to food and focusing on the long term goal, not a quick fix. Karen is great and helped me retrain my mindset in relation to losing weight and move away from the habit's I thought were good which actually now I feel have hindered me for years in achieving my goal. Fantastic experience: Having just about completed the 6 week course with Karen I have to say I can't recommend it highly enough. I feel I now have the skills to continue my weight loss and and to be able to have a normal relationship with food. Karen has helped me take responsibility for my actions and to respect myself enough to choose not to abuse my body by overeating, as well as to believe in myself. I am so glad I did this course as it has not only affected my eating habits but also my attitude to life in general.

Fantastic experience: Before starting Karen’s 6 week group programme “Ditch the diet and think slim”, I was in a miserable place; weight piling on as a result of no exercise and complete lack of control around food, self-esteem at an all-time low, stuck in a vicious cycle of self-hate. I’d tried dieting before, and it’d worked...for a few weeks...until life got in the way, so I knew I needed to try something different. Karen’s no-nonsense attitude and upbeat personality, backed up by piles of knowledge and practical tools, have put me back in control of my life: I’m more positive and productive both at home and at work, and I’m regularly exercising again. Fantastic experience: Can’t recommend Karen highly enough. I have lost 11lbs on her six week group program which I am delighted with. I am not someone who looses weight quickly so was amazed to see such great results do quickly. I have tried every diet out there over the years and this new eating plan/new mindset has to be the easiest and most successful one. Apart from a few tweaks here and there I am not actually eating much differently to how I used to. I now understand portion control and can use my own conscious reasoning with myself about whether I actually need/want something to eat/snack. Karen does a lot of work around your own self belief and esteem and I really believe this made a big difference to my success. Karen is with you every step of the way like your own personal cheerleader making sure you can achieve your goals. One other thing I have to mention is the difference this has made to my health. I suffer with migraine (at least twice a month lasting 3/4 days at a time). Since starting this new way of eating I have not had one. Also, I used to take prescribed medication with every meal due to digestive issues and have now stopped taking them completely. Thank you Karen for showing me the way!
Fantastic experience: I can honestly say that if you are looking for a weight loss programme that actually works then look no further you have found it! I have always struggled with my weight and had done diets that have worked for me in the short term but that have also been really restrictive and haven’t been sustainable later on so meant that I put the weight I had lost back on. Karen’s programme is totally different! It’s not a diet for starters it’s a complete change in lifestyle and the way that you think about food. I used to be an emotional eater. If I was tired - I’d eat. If I’d had a stressful day - I’d eat. I also used to snack on rubbish that I didn’t need. Fantastic experience: The support on this programme is second to none. A completely new way of thinking for me which has revolutionised my relationship with food. Having always been an emotional eater this has been tested as I lost my dear dad very recently but I still feel in control of what’s going in my mouth. Fantastic experience: Seriously what can I say ...the best ever 'non diet' weight loss program I've ever tried ( and I've tried the lot trust me ) ...with the most enthusiastic coach EVER !!! Fantastic experience: I started this journey with Karen as my friend at the gym had done it and looked absolutely amazing . I have tried every single diet going . However this plan gives you so much more freedom . You actually don’t feel like you are missing out on anything and you are able to have nights out . Fantastic experience: Finally found a sensible, healthy solution for weight loss, that works wherever I am or whatever my week holds. Thanks to Karen I have been able to let go of a lot of the myths surrounding diet and weight loss, and found a much easier way to loose weight and become fitter. With her constant support, and the many tools she has given me I know that I will soon be the healthy weight I have fought to be for years. Gone are my days of deprivation and constant yo-yo dieting. The group coaching worked very well for me , having the support of the other members has been great and seeing there success has spurred me on at times of doubt.
