Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things about PW Therapy. After months of pain in my neck and shoulder I needed to go see him to get this sorted. I booked a one hour session that combined cupping and acupuncture and other techniques. I have to say the results were fantastic! I no longer have that annoying tingling sensation down my right arm, causing me pain in my hand and in my neck. I was struggling to sleep and carry out my daily tasks, it was impacting my performance in the gym and at work. I feel 1000% better! I highly recommend seeing Phil, great guy, very humble and very knowledgeable.

He never seems phased by anything and when you don’t know what the problem is but don’t feel right he always gets right to the cause and resolves it. Fantastic experience: I had a motorcycle accident no broken bones but I Was not able to get out of bed for over two months. I went to the doctors had scans and even paid for a MRI scan myself. The doctors said there was nothing wrong and just gave me lots of Painkillers. I have been going to Phil for two years now I started off not being able to walk due to the motorcycle injury. I can now walk perfectly fine. We are now in the process of fixing my long-term (40 years) back problem. It has taken a long time, but I can definitely feel my back is far better than it has been for years. I’m even back out on my motorcycle

Fantastic experience: Doctor Wheeler absolutely saved me. With multiple spine, joint and other issues, I’d been pushed around the NHS from consultant to consultant, department to department, and the answer was always the same: ‘Very sad, here’s some pills, goodbye’. I had so much pain in one arm I couldn’t sleep or function. I’d lost all feeling in half my hand - which as an author is terrifying. No doctor could figure out any way to help me. Out of sheer depressed desperation I tried Doctor Wheeler, following a recommendation from friends. Within an HOUR he returned feeling to my hand and reduced the inflammation in my body enough that the pain went away for the first time in an entire year. This one sessions work didn’t last forever, of course - he’s not actually Jesus (I don’t think) - but with regular therapy these differences have now become more permanent. I would recommend Doctor Wheeler to anyone suffering with any problem the NHS isn’t fixing. Because it’s been eye opening how little they really understand and how incredibly skilled and intuitive and passionate this Doctor is when it comes to treating his patients.

Fantastic experience: Philip is treating my husband for a complex and chronic illness that so far no doctor has been able to offer any real treatment or solution. He has deteriorated to such a severe state of health and in the space of 3 months Philip has demonstrated the power of electric therapy. It's life changing and honestly everyone should be cleaning their body for day to day health to prevent getting serious illness in the first place. I am also seeing him for my own health reasons and again I am astonished at some of the positive changes I have seen in such a short space of time. Fantastic experience: I have been with PW therapy for just over a year now. I want to mention in this review that I have worked in Nursing for the NHS for 10 years and counting. There are a lot of things (in fact most things) that the NHS cannot fix as modern medicine relies on numbers - if your numbers after checks and tests are fine then you are "fine". This man is my Doctor, my absolute first point of call. Philip listens to all of your symptoms and concerns and pieces the puzzle together to create a care plan just for you and you only! There are no 2 people the same and he treats you as such. He does not need to complete any tests on you to have answers. In fact he doesn't have answers, he has solutions. In medicine holistic means the "whole of you". This means he treats your physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social and nutritional health - all of our ill health comes from one or more of these things. Fantastic experience: I started going to PW Therapy for acupuncture in Spring 2023 to see if it would help my eczema after trying many other treatments with no success. After the first 2 sessions I started seeing improvements. Where my skin would normally break and crack and not heal by itself, it started getting stronger and open wounds would heal by themselves. I couldn't be happier with the results and I highly recommend Philip to anyone else who has similar skin problems!

Fantastic experience: I don't often leave 5 star reviews, however, Philip deserves every single one of them, plus some. As a complex patient with many comorbid disorders, I knew from our very first interaction via email, that he was going to be different from all of the other medical professionals I have seen over the last three decades. And he is. Philip's passion and commitment for helping his patients attain a better quality of life is obvious and undeniable. Before you ever meet him in person, he asks questions and tries to learn as much as possible about you and your condition(s). More importantly, though, he takes the time to actually listen to you, and for some, he is the one who finally validates our daily experiences as real and legit and debilitating, for the first time ever. He outlines his treatment plan clearly, including a tentative schedule/timeline of treatment, and continually communicates what his goals and expectations are. And then he works his magic. If you are considering seeing a functional medicine practitioner, I couldn't recommend Philip and PW Therapy enough. I don't think I will ever be completely pain-free, but the positive effects of Philip's treatments, after only a few months, have been life-changing for me.

Fantastic experience: I have used Phil for a knee injury and would recommend him for his knowledge and effective treatments, utilising a mix of modern and ancient knowledge! He also had great after care recommending physio exercises.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Dr Phil @ PW enough! I had a complicated case involving a herniated disc that "professionals" tried to steer me towards surgery and physios told me to stop all activity. In truth, I was desperate and a fellow BJJ practitioner recommended I try Dr Phil. He quickly and accurately got to the root of the problem where others tried to deal with the symptoms. Dr Phil kept me on the mats training and was instrumental in my recovery. Subsequent to the treatments, I have been able to train at 100% and compete, (although I am still getting smashed). Dr Phil takes a sympathetic and thorough look at his patient as a whole, and I can't thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: Philip treated my son recently with excellent results. He'd been suffering from migraines for a few months and we weren't happy with just treating the symptoms so we sought out alternative methods. Philip took the time to assess his diet, his behaviours and the circumstances around his migraines. As well as the acupuncture sessions themselves, Philip gave us detailed explanations of his procedures and suggested a course of treatments including regular vitamins and minerals into his diet which has helped no end. He was attentive with us and my son (who was only 9) and made us all feel very comfortable. Thank you Philip!

Fantastic experience: In October 2021 I went to Phillip suffering with interstitial cystitis, which is basically chronic UTIs, kidney infections and chronic pain in the bladder and ureatha. I had suffered on and off for years,with it becoming chronic at the start of 2021. Due to this ongoing problem I also suffered fatigue, weight problems, and depressive episodes. Having been told by my doctor that I would basically be on antibiotics for the rest of my life and quite possibly permanently cathertered withing 3-5years, and would have to come to terms with living with chronic pain. Just over a year of seeing Phillip and I'm completely off antibiotics, I have no more bladder spasms or pain, I haven't had a UTI since October and I'm feeling better than I have in years. He has been an amazing miracle worker, who along with my reflexologist, has helped give me my life back. If you are willing to put the work in to help yourself Phillip is well worth going to visit.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered with migraine for a long time. Recently my migraine came back so bad and I was straggling to do with my daily activities. I was so pleased when Sese was able to treat my migraine pain and reduced the symptoms. Not only treated with my migraine, Sese also treated my sciatica and other muscle issues. I highly recommend Sese to improve your health and maintain your well-being.

Fantastic experience: I have struggled with serious back and shoulder injuries for well over 10 years and even had major surgery in 2017. Unfortunately nothing has ever really helped me with not only my pain levels but also my quality of life… that’s until I met Phil and PW Therapy. Phil made me feel comfortable instantly, never judged and assured me that we will work through my issues together. After only one session I was on cloud 9 - I was so relaxed, calm and in less pain. Fantastic experience: I went to see Philip with no real “ailment”.However I, like most people had had a difficult 18 months both emotionally and physically and felt I needed some healing. I knew instantly (based on the very thorough questionnaire) that Philip was going to take the time to understand me. Now I often think he knows me better than I know myself. I went and had acupuncture initially but now I’ve tried cupping and reiki. The effect my visits have on my mental health is immeasurable. I often try to explain to my husband how I feel after our sessions but I can never find the right words. To put it very simply …. I feel lighter, clearer and all round happier. Philip adapts my treatment on any given visit based on our chat at the start of our appointment. His knowledge and experience seems endless. Fantastic experience: I went to see Philip with a dodgy knee as I’m disabled from an illness (encephalitis) I had 35years ago. OMG!! You would never believe the things he has helped me with. Firstly confidence in myself and eating more healthy. The pains I have had through my body that doctors said were untreatable have practically all gone. Fantastic experience: When I went to Philip I had a lot of aches and pains, in arms, hands, neck, hip, knee & feet, i was unable to pinpoint any reason other than walking made my neck and shoulder ache!!! Philip listened, asked questions and is very caring, to my amazement he found I had a problem with my kidney, liver and stomach, after a few sessions of acupuncture and one of cupping I feel like a new person, this man is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone and think he could cure anything. Fantastic experience: I’ve experienced chronic pain in my ankles following a bad football injury over 10 years ago. Five operations later and it’s still not right and in truth I simply adapted to life living in pain. Having seen Philips details on FB I thought I would give it a go. Following my very first appointment, I genuinely believe some of these operations could have been avoided....it literally feels like a miracle. Fantastic experience: As you can imagine 2020 has been a tough year for a lot of people. But for me it was the first time I got hit with severe anxiety and depression. For months I was getting panic attacks and feelings of worthlessness and suicidal thoughts, my friends and family tried to help but there was only so much they could say. It took me until one day I decided enough was enough. I was given Phillips details and at first I was very sceptical, I’d never tried acupuncture before and had especially never heard of it helping someone’s mental health. But I thought why not try it, I’ve got nothing to lose. So I went to my first appointment, half nervous half thinking this is going to be a waste of time. But as soon as I sat down in there, I felt at ease with Phill. His demeanour and positivity shined and I immediately felt at ease. He layed me down, put some pins in my head and body and got me talking about my problems starting from the beginning of my childhood. Just from that first session he could tell things about me no one else could see or know, and I immediately felt like this could change my mindset for good. Fast forward numerous sessions and I can safely say I’m in a better place now. I feel I have control over my life and a much better outlook on things, and this is largely down to Phil and the tools he has given me. Not only has he helped me mentally but any other physical niggles he’s sorted for me within 1 or 2 sessions which is just amazing. I’m shocked at how incredible acupuncture is and I encourage anyone to try it. It just might change your life.

My husband was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and was told it’s something he will live with for the rest of his life but 5 treatments with Philip and it’s fixed. Fantastic experience: AMAZING results. I went to see Philip following recommendation from a family member as I have had problems with my knee for the past 5 or 6 years, even after having keyhole surgery on my cartilage. I suffer with a sore and swollen knee after any reasonable exercise, often causing me to limp and take ibuprofen for the pain and the inflammation. One session with Philip and I have no limp, very little pain, even after long walks, an hour of football or a 23 mile bike ride. My knee specialist said I needed a knee replacement, but obviously not!! I can't thank or praise Philip enough.

Fantastic experience: I have had a variety of treatments with Philip and all have been 5*. Cupping, hot stone massage, deep tissue work to name a few. He is able to identify parts of your body that need assistance. I feel he is very in tune to both physical + emotional issues and is able to cater each session to your needs at each visit. I do recommend everyone to Philip because he is the best at what he does.

Initially I went for a relaxing treat. Then I continued to go for sports massages to help with knee and leg issues. Totally recommend and would give 10 stars if Google allowed! Fantastic experience: Phillip is one of a kind at his profession. Professlism and service at its best. After seeing many therapists and having alot of different advice for a lower back injury I was lost and at ends whit. When I got told about Phillip. I contacted him and arranged a session and consultation. As soon as I met him and had my first session. I knew I would never see anyone else within a matter of session's he had sorted my lower back issue and glute issue with better ROM I have ever had better recovery which meant I could train harder and better. I have been seeing him Weekly because not only has he massivly improved my recovery from a athlete view but he has aided in my mental health being much more positive. His method's his kindness and attitude have gone a long way. I wouldn't recommend anyone else other then phil.
