Fantastic experience: Bobbed in today for a new bed for our Staffy Milo. We’d looked all over the last few weeks and found nothing right until we saw his new Scruffs memory foam mattress today, he’s not been off it and it’s not even bed time. Fantastic price too, £15 less than Amazon and £20+ less than a local big chain store. Always pays to shop local and support small businesses. We’ll be back for a bucket load of Christmas treats soon.

He’s nine years old and looks and acts like a puppy! Whenever we have an issue I always go to see the team at Acorn before I even consider taking him to the vets. Fantastic experience: 9 times out of 10, I make the effort to come here, to buy my dogs food. They have such a wide variety. If I ever feel like changing my dogs diet, they always always provide me with the right information and guidelines. Never once had an issue and my dog is happy 100% of the time. They have just updated their payment desk and this is a warm welcome and looks the part.

Negative experience: Called in today, 28.08.19, looking for some Burns Penland Farm dog food after speaking with Burns themselves only a few minutes earlier, who said they were stockists. The two staff on duty didn't have a clue as to what it was I was asking for, so one then went to see what I can at best describe as a male voice in an office who couldn't be bothered to get off a chair and come out to speak face to face. The muttered response from behind the wall was they don't stock it, sorry. Not "is there anything else we could suggest that might do the trick?", or "can I order some in for you?", just total couldn't be bothered disinterest. Wow! Talk about how to not to treat any any potential customer, let alone one who lives locally and obviously buys dog food. Sorry guys, you really do need to seriously up your game, I could hardly believe your attitude. Needless to say I won't be calling in again any time soon.
