Fantastic experience: This makes going to the gym an enjoyable experience (from someone who never thought they would be a gym fan!). Everyone is friendly and supportive and the groups are a perfect size to get individual attention whilst not being the sole focus. Each session is slightly different so it never gets boring. AND they give you chocolates at Christmas time!!

Positive experience: Initial - 6 week training program worked well for me almost losing a stone in weight! Excellent facilities and ChrisJ an excellent trainer. Due to change in work the dynamics didn’t work well for me and reluctant I had to leave - However should 2025 change I’d be willing to return and look for a 1-2-1 training session. Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member in Hall training for years. Before I joined I was never able to keep going to gyms as I did not know what to do or how to do it properly. Here, with these guys I always know exactly what I am doing. I found their app v useful for tracking my development and achievements.

Fantastic experience: As someone who really did not want to join a gym, I can honestly say this has been the best decision I’ve made. 12 weeks ago I was a complete novice when it came to weights/strength training but the PTs have been very patient with me and I’ve never felt silly for not knowing what I’m doing! It’s been a great confidence boost and I can see and feel the results of my hard work and consistency, something I’ve historically always been rubbish with. As a mum of young children I value the chance to focus on me and my health. The team are awesome; there’s never a dull moment!!!

Fantastic experience: If you’re looking for a gym that’s super friendly, with experienced staff who really know their stuff, has classes at all times of day to fit around work and family commitments, and that delivers results, Hall training @Kidlington is for you! I joined on a 6-week pre-holiday trial; 9 months later am still going strong. Incredibly, my ageing knees no longer hurt and I’ve even shaved a few seconds off my park run times (well, sometimes) - both a result of improved muscle tone. Thanks to the team for their encouragement and help in getting me to do the exercises I know I need to do, but generally can’t make myself do.

Fantastic experience: Halls Training has really helped me with a routine and motivated me to push myself towards my goals. I never had confidence going to public gyms but this gym does private group sessions and each trainer really helps with your specific needs. Fantastic experience: I have now done over 100 workouts at Hall Personal Training and it is brilliant. I joined as a newbie to the gym who hated exercise. Training at Hall has got me looking forward to my workouts (yes, really!). Plus, I've burnt off a load of fat and built up my strength too. The trainers are expert, encouraging and enthusiastic - even at 6am. There is a real focus on a personal touch. Everyone will make sure to call you by name from day 1 and all the trainers are invested in your progress. Workouts are all planned for you and are generally divided into four parts: a quick warmup, a bigger lift (like a squat, deadlift or bench press), a strength section and then your choice of either cardio or more strength training. Everything is demonstrated to you - so you just need to do what you are told! I was worried when I joined that there were things I couldn't do and that if they were on the work out then I would be forced to struggle embarrassingly through the impossible. Nothing was further from the truth! At Hall, there's only things you can't do *yet*. If something is too hard for you right now, you'll be given an easier way of doing it to build you up gradually to the real thing. A good example for me is push ups. I flat out couldn't do them on the floor (not even one). So I did them using a bar at a height at which I could do three full sets of 10. That bar has been getting lower and lower and lower and now I can do a decent number on the floor too. It's been incredibly rewarding to make progress like that. And speaking of progress, you'll be given access to a companion app which allows you easily to track your workouts. Not only does that help you see your progress (and you will make progress), but it will help you remember what you squatted last week too! The toilet and shower facilities are kept spotlessly clean and are stocked with nice shampoo and shower gel. So, after a morning workout it's easy and pleasant to wash up and head on to work. Although there is no getting away from the fact that the membership is a big cost, it is worth every penny for me. I view it as an essential investment in my health and wellbeing and one which is already paying off big time!
Fantastic experience: This is the first gym experience that I’ve found that has me hooked. I’m loving it. And I’m totally not a gym person. I’m much more aligned with yoga studios and Taiqi classes. But what they’re doing at Hall really works for me. Small classes in a fun engaging and relaxed atmosphere with people of all ages and skill levels. This is my second month and I’m now going a few times a week and feeling stronger and better mentally than I have in ages. So a big thank you to the team there. I really appreciate what you’re doing!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Hall for about 7 weeks now and the benefit already is massive. The purpose of joining the gym was to gain strength to help improve my running and also help adjust my relationship with food. Fantastic experience: Mature and unfit but decided needed to invest in myself/well being. Not rich but felt needed to do something. Hall Training to the rescue ~ the instructors take time to adjust fitness sessions to support my injuries/health issues. Good to do the 4 to 1 personal training as keeps cost down but encourages me to keep on going each week. Tried joining the usual gyms but didn’t attend/use so wasted £. Hall Training encourage and support plus show lots of patience.I currently do 2 training sessions per week and feel much better in my overall health for doing so.

Fantastic experience: Joining Hall has been a great choice. After agonising for a while over the expense, I can honestly say it's been with every penny. I've worked with a variety of PTs and gyms, and the programming and coaches at Hall (Kidlington) are fantastic. It's a genuinely welcoming, inclusive environment, with considered and effective programming, and first class equipment. I've lost 4kg of body fat in the first six weeks, and I can see how your l the programming will get me the rest of the way to my goal, despite having struggled with my weight for more than 10 years. If you're wondering if it's worth it, it is. Go for it!

Fantastic experience: 3 weeks into my 6 week challenge!! I had lost my direction and felt I needed to get back on track. Usually I’m quite good at self motivating myself, although this time I felt I needed more guidance. I saw a Facebook ad showing a 6 week challenge, this looked exactly what I needed to get back on track, so I enquired! The next day I had a call with a lovely chap called Chris. I knew from about 3 minutes into the phone call that this was something I wanted to sign up to. We talked through the challenge and discussed my personal motivations for getting in touch, before inviting me for a tour - by this point I was already sold! As I pulled up to the gym, a little apprehensive but excited, I was greeted by Becky. Lovely, bubbly Becky made me so welcome. Full of charm and knowledge, I pretty much instantly knew that this was the right decision and Hall Personal Training was the team to help me get my motivation back! I am now 3 weeks in to my 6 week challenge and couldn’t be happier. Firstly, the support and guidance of the team is second to none. Unlike a generic gym, you’re looked after across all aspects of your challenge. The programmes/ nutrition targets are suited to you as an individual and you can watch your progress throughout the whole 6 weeks. The part I didn’t expect is the sheer sense of community and friendship that I have seen and felt. Everyone is so lovely and genuine. I can’t wait to see where I am in the next 3 weeks! I never want to leave!

Fantastic experience: I've been with Hall Personal Training for almost a year now and have had a fantastic experience from day one. All of their staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities are always clean and have everything you'd ever need in terms of machines etc. I always struggle to get in the habit of coming to the gym but with their booking system I can book all my sessions every month and it's then super easy for me to stay organised. The small group sessions are perfect as your trainer will make sure you're doing everything correctly and the rest of your group motivate you to push yourself. If you're looking for all of the above then I can't recommend Hall Personal Training enough. I've seen great results since I started and it's been worth every penny.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Hall Training for nearly 3 years now. Having never done any exercise or sports since P.E. lessons at school (!), I was a nervous beginner and no-one is more surprised than me that I've actually found something that I don't just tolerate but really enjoy. The trainers are amazing, great fun and super helpful. It's a really nice, supportive community that comes by training alongside other people. The sessions are changed often. I feel really encouraged with regular catch-ups to discuss long-term goals that are in addition to the workout sessions. I'm stronger and healthier than ever. There simply isn't a bad or negative comment I can make!

Fantastic experience: Joined a little over four months ago and I'm very happy at Hall Training, and I look forward to every session! The PTs are encouraging and motivating and they create a great atmosphere to train. I've never had much patience or motivation for weights training but that's all changed since I joined. I love how the programme changes frequently and remains challenging week to week. At the same time, it's a safe and welcoming atmosphere, regardless of your fitness levels - I feel neither pressured nor self conscious, unlike other gym environments. The app to track progress is a great took to keep me motivated. Can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Love this place! I went as I was feeling very middle-aged and out of shape, and it has been so brilliant. Wonderful trainers, who push you just the right amount (and notice as soon as you slack off even a touch!), and a really nice group of people who attend. Everyone is supportive and friendly, no matter if they are an experienced gym-goer or a total newbie with no fitness experience at all. The workouts are varied and I am already seeing a real difference. It is flexible to book, and the app makes tracking your progress easy to do. It is quite expensive, so I wondered if it could be justified - but I have no qualms about having made the decision, and will go for as long as possible. I genuinely look forward to going, and it makes such a change from struggling through a run or half-heartedly doing an online workout. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Since joining Hall PT 6 months ago I can happily say the team and training environment they create is so warm, welcoming and friendly that I am excited every morning to get in at 6am and train. The team with whom I have had the pleasure of being trained by, George, Matt, Becky, Georgie and Chris have all managed me within the small group ensuring my technic is correct to enable a fulfilling and safe session. Also the regular monthly one to one assessment with George is very well structured and is teaching me how to manage diet and review the training is correct for me. Fabulous overall

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Hall Training to anyone who is looking to progress their fitness and enjoy themselves whilst doing it. During my time I have seen a significant improvement and I love how the small group sessions offer tailored guidance as well as a few people to help motivate each other along. Fantastic experience: We started at Hall in December and its changed our lives! In the last 6 months, both of us feel stronger and healthier than ever. Fantastic experience: The Hall team have been incredible in helping me to get to where I want to be physically and mentally. They are always friendly, personable and very knowledgeable and will always try to help you get to where you want to be. Add to that their training spaces, which are always kept in top condition, nutrition and exercise guidance and fun social events and they are definitely worth considering for your weight loss/muscle gain journey!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Hall PT for around 8 months and honestly can't recommend them highly enough! Having never used the weights section at a gym before, I was a little reluctant to start with, but all the trainers have been brilliant at encouraging and pushing me in each session. It's a great, friendly place to train, with fantastic personal trainers and a really good community feel to it all. 8 months in and I'm still training 3 times per week and looking forward to each session. I've also lost over 15kg of weight and feel a lot stronger, healthier and happier! The best investment I've ever made in myself!

Fantastic experience: I am so happy that I joined Hall - I know it's their tag line but I genuinely am so much stronger, fitter, healthier and happier than I was three months ago! The sessions are really enjoyable and the trainers are all so friendly and knowledgeable - always there to give you a little push when you need it or to help you tweak a movement so you're getting the most out of it. My body is changing before my eyes and I am sleeping better than I have in years. As far as nutrition is concerned, focusing on adding protein and eating a varied diet has been life changing. I've been so conditioned over the years to go on faddy low cal diets that just result in rebound weight gain - it's been a real joy and a surprise to see my body change in the way that I want it to by making such small, manageable changes. Extra thanks to Sabrina for all of her help with that. Honestly I really wish more women would give strength training a go - it's such an accessible, enjoyable way to exercise. Especially if you're not a fan of jumping up and down like a jack in the box all the time! Totally worth the money - if you can afford it then I couldn't recommend the Hall team more highly

Fantastic experience: I spent a long time thinking about what to write so as to make it helpful for anyone who, like me, is a bit filled with trepidation about coming to a smaller gym like this. I joined Hall Training because I had lost my motivation with training and with that all of my confidence. I have now been with them for several months and my experience has been wonderful. Every trainer is excellent, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I have found them to each listen carefully to my particular training needs, push me at the right time and help me to train in a judgement free environment. A special shout out to Becky and Sabrina who have been excellent at the Kidlington gym and always push me a little further. I can happily say that this was a great decision and I feel part of a special community.

Fantastic experience: This is a great set up and I would highly recommend to people who struggle between going to a gym themselves and doing 1 on 1 training. Groups of 4 train with a very knowledgeable and encouraging trainer. It's like Crossfit in that you push yourself in the surroundings of other but the trainers won't let your form or technique waiver. It's a very comfortable environment for all skill levels. The facilities and trainers are world class!!!

Fantastic experience: I start my review with the day I visited the Hall Training studio in Kidlington for the first time. I had made contact with their team a couple of days earlier through social media. Expressed my interest in training with them, but before going ahead with things, I wanted to visit their space and ask a few questions. They kindly offered me a tour on a Saturday after the last training session of the day. Becky showed me the studio, talked me through what type of service they were offering, how the membership worked, etc. She was very professional, friendly and made sure all my queries were answered before I signed up. I felt well received and excited with joining their gym. It has been 5 months now. I have trained with almost every personal trainer in the team, been able to use the other study in Deddington as well, and my opinion stays the same as when I left after Becky’s tour: Here you will find a friendly place to train, a sense of community, and dedicated personal trainers that will look after you, support your progress and help you achieving your goals. Fantastic experience: Hall Personal Training has transformed my life. Since joining in October my weight has reduced 5kg to 71kg, My blood pressure has reduced 144/84 to 126/74 and my resting heart rate reduced from 65 to 59. I am eating more healthily following their nutrition advice and reviewed monthly. I feel so much fitter and healthier and have more energy. I can't thank the team enough. All the Personal Trainers are very knowledgeable and take a keen interest in all their clients wellbeing. I have also made lots of new friends. Having given up regular sport a few years ago I got into a rut and felt listless. These guys have transformed my life and I can't thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Hall Personal Training for 3 months now. I had been looking for a proper gym, not one with 20 running machines and 40 machines I didn't have any use for. Here you are in small groups, no more that 4 with a trainer to assist, guide help and push you to do your very best form and technique in every exercise. I wanted to build strength but don't have enough room at home to store all the fabulous lifting kit they have there.( and I would definitely not push myself to use it either!) I also don't have the expertise each and every trainer has to put together a range of exercise to work each area of my body and not let me get bored, stale or sore! If I have ever had a sore bit they will swap that out for something else. You can use their nutritional knowledge too if weight loss is part of your journey. you can set goals and get all the support you need to succeed. The training team are just bloomin' brilliant, I look forward to going there every time also know I will be made super welcome and its always a great laugh. the other people who train there are also a great bunch, we are all in it together and sometimes its familiar faces and sometimes people you have never met before but we all push each other along. There is a great social life too. It's an all round proper good training establishment! Best thing I could have done for myself. What are you waiting for.....Join Immediately!!!!!

Fantastic experience: The team at Hall have been helping me train for around 8 months now, and I can't recommend them enough. If like me you want to be stronger, but aren't motivated enough to go to a gym or you feel intimidated by the weights area, Hall may be the perfect answer. The entire team are amazing, and I'm seeing great results already. I've been a cyclist and runner for ages but for the first time I can see muscles in my arms and shoulders too! Every trainer has their own style, but all of them have a great eye for detail and really know their stuff. They cajole, encourage and push you to safely do more than you would on your own and they make every visit fun and rewarding. Overall they are a lovely bunch of people. This is not a gym. But it might just be the best thing you ever did for your health.

Fantastic experience: So my goal was to get fitter and feel better. That was all. I'd not done any meaningful exercise for a few years. The last couple of pandemic years had been tough for everyone and I'm no different. I knew I needed the motivation to get going again and Hall Personal Training had been on my radar for a while. So a couple of months ago I finally picked up the courage to join the trial period and was impressed by the response and approach from all the Hall team. The trial period started and I haven't looked back. The atmosphere is friendly and encouraging. Everyone I've met there understands that you've got to start somewhere. The training times suit me and booking system is easy to use. The app is great and plots your progress for you. There are regular competitions to keep you engaged. They also have great support for nutrition too to help you along and fuel your progress. The sessions can be tough for me, but I get so much out of them. I really feel like I've made progress after every visit. This is not a gym where you turn up and plod along. Sometimes I've hit the limit and the trainers have been great, but I've always made progress. All the trainers are very approachable and listen. They push when they can see you can do more, but are not OTT. Which is great for me. I think they'd push a lot more if that's what I wanted. I'm only a couple of months in but I feel the benefits already. I'm looking forward to continuing with regular visits. Also planning on visiting the new building in Deddington, which looks amazing, when I can. In summary. If you want to invest in yourself, but are struggling with motivation I'd recommend calling Hall, having a chat and giving a trial a go.

Easily the most consistently I've ever managed to train in a gym and the 'small group PT' model is great in that it makes personal training much more accessible. Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined Hall's gym a month ago by signing up for the trial period. All the personal trainers are brilliant, very encouraging and knowledgeable. I was a total beginner when I started, and I felt that they knew exactly how to make sure I make maximum progress. If the gym is in your price range, you can definitely get a lot out of it - highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been with training Hall Personal Trainers now for over 4 months. I can honestly say its been one of the best decisions I've made for my health. As someone who has always struggled to stay motivated to exercise, particularly on my own, compounded by the circumstances surrounding COVID-19, I was seriously out of shape at the beginning of the year. I was also very reluctant to make any kind commitment to a membership since I'm inclined to get bored, run out of enthusiasm and then eventually stop going altogether. I knew I needed something different. I needed something that demanded effort and at the same time offered a sociable atmosphere to keep me engaged. With Hall Personal Training I believe I've found it. It's a wonderfully sociable gym. It's smart, clean and well-run. The trainers are brilliant and, with no-more than 4 people in each group session, I know I'm going to get coaching and encouragement for each exercise. I especially enjoy the friendliness of this gym. I spend most of my sessions with Sabrina, she's easy-going, knowledgeable and patient, pushing me just enough each time. Although, to be honest, the whole team is excellent in this way. So 4 months down the line, still going 3 times a week, I leave the gym sweaty and satisfied every time. And, okay it's expensive but, I'm fitter, sharper and healthier. Oh, and my husband is loving the results too.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I joined Hall at the beginning of the year and are so glad we did. Throughout lockdown we had daily virtual sessions with on hand advice and support to keep focussed and motivated through a difficult time. Once gyms opened up again we then started on the Hall programmes and are both training now in a way we never would have been able to do on our own. We really enjoy the community feel of the gym and feel that we are part of something rather than just members of a gym. The Personal Trainers are dedicated, enthusiastic and, more importantly, know their stuff. A brilliant set up.

Fantastic experience: Due to moving out of Oxford I was only able to train with the team at Hall PT for 2 months but I loved every minute of it. I am considerably stronger and more confident in my weightlifting technique than I was when I started 2 months ago. The small group PT format is perfect. Fantastic experience: I joined Hall Training nearly two years ago on the recommendation of my then PT, who was moving to London. I have had memberships at other gyms but I think Hall Personal Training is unique for a few reasons. First, sessions are usually either two to a trainer or four to a trainer, depending on your membership. This means you work out with other people who can be at a different stage in their fitness journey and you get to learn a lot more by seeing that, as well as having the attention of your trainer. Second, the training sessions are on a common rotation so if you have three sessions booked for the week, you can get an upper, quad and hams session. The routines change each week and build towards a testing week every few months. What this means is that you become more proficient at the different exercises but you don’t get bored and you can see and monitor your improvement using the logging app. Third, the trainers really personalise the sessions to you and your journey – this is very important to me as a middle-aged woman who’s looking to build strength and maintain flexibility rather than train to support a sport or lose weight. Some other points, you get to know the trainers and they know you so it’s a real relationship and they are incredibly friendly as well as being knowledgeable about all things fitness and nutrition. The gym itself has great equipment and lovely private shower/changing rooms and parking is easy. Overall, during my time at the gym, I’ve improved my upper body strength, developed my form and have a much better understanding of my own body and what I need to work on to future proof myself. I have also felt supported by all the trainers in challenging myself to use gym equipment and weights that I wasn’t confident in doing before. Finally, there is a real community atmosphere at the gym with socials including some epic Zoom quiz events during the lockdown.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Hall Personal Training enough. It has been the best gym experience that I’ve ever had, however, Hall PT isn’t comparable to the usual, impersonal gym environment. Their gym is very well equipped and maintained, the clever small-group training concept makes personal training both affordable and highly effective, and their time slots accommodate everyone's schedule. I really appreciate that health always comes first before shape. All the trainers are extremely competent (and up to date with science) in terms of exercise (what kind of and how to), correct alignment and movement execution, and nutrition to support you in achieving your individual health/ fitness/ performance goals in a very motivating and enthusiastic way. I’ve learned so much from them in all those regards; I wish I had known in my teens already. They are also just very lovely people to work with, as is their community. I have always so much fun training there, which is another major reason why I keep going.

Fantastic experience: I have been at Hall Training for almost two years now and they have been so amazing not only with helping me reach my training goals but also with teaching me about nutrition. They have modified my sessions and given me advice so that I can better rehabilitate from a previous injury. The team are some of the nicest and most supportive people I have ever met. My only regret is that I did not join sooner.

Fantastic experience: Hall training have helped me lose a substantial amount of weight wile getting my all around fitness to the best place it’s ever been . The staff are always welcoming and customise workouts to around injuries/fitness level when needed and communicate with the whole team so you can seamlessly work out with any trainer. The gym is welcoming to all types of people and engaged in helping reach fitness & nutrition goals.

Fantastic experience: I started at Hall Training a couple of years ago and have loved being part of the community these guys have created. The workouts have been challenging, fun and ultimately the progress in my fitness has been huge. The Hall trainers have been the kindest and most encouraging trainers I have ever worked with.
