Fantastic experience: I’ve been having physio with Luke for almost 15 years and he’s kept me in the game for marathons, ultra running and cross-country horse-riding. Incredibly knowledgeable and no-nonsense, he’s the best physio there is!

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend the clinic enough and its professionals. Been in the clinic for several years on and off for the odd pain across the body and always met a quick solution. They don't work for you to come back like other places, they actually find a sustainable solution and you only return if really needed. Things that would take me months to fix anywhere else, with these professionals they are resolved in 1/2 appointments. The price is reasonable for what they offer too.

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service offered by Sportswise from the helpful and friendly reception staff through to Dr Wyngaerden's expertise to adminster an injection in my foot which I could hardly feel. Hi assistant Carol provided great support too. Its been 13 years between visits to Sportwise since I saw Prof Webborn. If I need further help in the future Sportswise will be at the top of my list.

Fantastic experience: I recently completed a series of physiotherapy sessions with Ian for Achilles tendonitis, and I couldn't be more grateful for the care I received. From the first appointment, he demonstrated a good understanding of the condition and a patient and kind approach that has made a huge difference in my recovery. It’s been a journey of a few months, but the treatment plan was always realistic and encouraging, adjusting exercises when needed, and celebrating steady progress. A few months ago, I thought I wouldn’t be able to run again, and was considering surgical repair of the tendon, but was advised to try physiotherapy at Sportswise first. Forward a few months, and I have now been able to return to running and hiking and have avoided surgery! I feel well equipped to manage my tendon health for the future. I highly recommend Sportswise to anyone dealing with an injury; their knowledge, and calm and supportive approach really stand out.

Fantastic experience: Had been suffering occipital neuralgia for a month and in absolute agony. Saw Luke who was very knowledgeable, kind and sorted the issue in 2 sessions with acupuncture. Highly recommend, he knows his stuff. Will be back if I need to without hesitation. Thank you Luke for fixing me.

First visit today - very impressed with the treatment, Faye (physio) was very thorough, and provided an excellent session with follow up exercises. A very welcoming and friendly environment. Update: My 3rd visit today and Faye was very reassuring and supportive, addressing all my concerns in respect of my injury. Due to her advice and persistence, I am on the road to recovery. Excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Alison highly enough. After struggling with Trochanteric pain, I was in constant discomfort and unsure of the way forward. From my first appointment, she provided a clear treatment plan, expert advice, and hands-on care that made all the difference. I am now rapidly regaining strength and mobility, much faster than I expected, and am returning to my usual activities. Alison is a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist.

Fantastic experience: The staff are always very pleasant. The physiotherapist will always explain the reasons for the treatment they are giving. Suggestions for follow up exercises at home are always offered.

Fantastic experience: I had treatment pre- and post- knee replacement. Pre-op treatment consisted of Ostenil injections and physiotherapy both of which were very effective and enabled me to go on a holiday with wet landings on zodiacs and walks through the jungle. Post-op physio and massage enabled me to gain function faster than just following a written exercise programme from the hospital. I was months ahead of the people who had the same op at the same time.

Fantastic experience: I'm just coming to the end of my second block of pilates session and have loved every minute. Approachable professional teacher who I find is sensitive to each individuals needs. Numbers in the classes are restricted, which I prefer. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a pelvic floor assessment with Jo following the birth of my first baby and it was incredibly informative. Jo was extremely knowledgable and friendly and gave me a series of exercises to practice, along with guidance on how to undertake massage of my c-section scar and advice on how to safely return to exercise. Following on from this Jo recommended that I sign up to their pilates class run by physio Jess and these have been fantastic for improving my mobility and increasing my confidence in what my body is capable of. Overall I couldn’t recommend Sportswise highly enough and I have passed the details on to all the mums from my antenatal class!

Fantastic experience: Ian provided great physiotherapy treatment, strengthening exercises and advice to my daughter who had taken up sprinting and picked up an early injury. Just a couple of sessions and following his plan to the letter sorted her out and she was back training within just a few weeks. Ian was professional, friendly and made sure his advice was pitched at the right level for her. Cannot recommend him and Sportswise highly enough. Great service from start to finish!

Fantastic experience: Amazing service. Managed to get a last minute appointment to sort out a very painful shoulder. Received acupuncture treatment and it already feels so much better. There is a lot to be said about treating the issue early and investing in your body!

I went in struggling with a neck issue, Hannah chatted through the pain I was experiencing, discussed how the pain might have come about before working on the area and fixing me! I always had the preconceived idea that sports massages would be painful but this certainly wasn’t. Thank you Hannah, I’ll be sure to book again!

Fantastic experience: Over many years, I have had hours and hours of physiotherapy, at a range of practices, for a variety of sports related injuries. I can honestly say, Sportswise is the best by far. I’ve only been treated by Ali, so cannot comment on the other physios. Ali is easily the best physiotherapist I’ve ever been treated by. Her attention to detail, expertise and thoroughness are amazing. She has resolved every physical problem I have taken to her in really quick time. She listens really carefully, and asks all the right questions, and leaves no stone unturned to accurately diagnose, and then manage the rehab of injuries, fine tuning as needed. I could not recommend her more highly. And clearly, she has the support of an excellent well-organised practice with impressive resources, and super-friendly staff (especially Christina on reception!). Thank you for all your hard work and for getting me back on the road to full fitness.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately I sustained a compound fracture of my tibia and fibia bone on 29th April , after 16 weeks of NWB I was told by the Consultant, its physio time ! Call was made to Sportswise & I met Ian, mid July, we woked on NWB exercise plan. The Consultant then allowed me to FWB (the boot went) late August ! Since then I haven't looked back, each fortnight we reflect back on previous consultations, he listens, cares and then moves the goal posts accordingly. Its a triangle, me, Ian & the Consultant. He's an asset to the Clinic. Thank you for all you've done.

Fantastic experience: For 7 months was taking Tramadol and only beginning Aug. CT scan appointment was given. I do understand NHS backlog and they’re trying where possible. I couldn’t tolerate the pain and decided going private, was given quotes from £1500/2000 so postponed treatment. I came across Sportswise through a referral and I didn’t look back. 6 star service from initial consultation to explanation to exactly what issue I had and solution. 7 days from consultation had the same epidural and today medication stopped and back to normal life work, family time!! Thank you Sportswise for your service and highly recommended. P.S. they cost far less than any other private consultation:)

Fantastic experience: Sportswise is a centre of sporting medical excellence. When I hurt my neck - I wasn't going to trust my health and wellbeing with anyone else. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I cant speak highly enough of Sportswise I was very impressed. I visited Sportswise for a physio appointment to get an assessment on a lower leg pain I was experiencing. I saw Maryke Louw who performed the assessment. It didn't take long to diagnose the problem and tbh I wouldn't of been disappointed if that was the end of the appointment. Instead I received a number of treatments to help and some very sound advice on rehab which I am following to the letter. 2 weeks after the appointment I received an email to check up on how I was doing and I have also received an offer of help in planning my return to running. This was all for the price of a single session! I would 100% recommend.
