Fantastic experience: Would highly recommend. Was recommended to Paul because i was starting to get more and more backpain and the pain even started to go to my legs also. I was then sent for an X-Ray which showed that my spine wasn't aligned properly. I had 2 options which was either surgery or treatment. I chose the treatment since its less invasive. I can say now that after couple months of treatment the pain from my legs has completely gone and i can continue my day without pain. Thank you for your help Paul.

During each of my adjustment sessions, I am taught stretches/exercises that I can do at home, as well as ergonomic and lifestyle changes that I can make. Fantastic experience: About a year ago my back started to hurt due to my work and also daily life. I went to a chiropractor who initially sorted out the pain but not completely and I felt that the subsequent visits were pretty useless. I then tried a Physio and also a sports massage. The sports massage was a great relief but didn't really sort out the pain. I then decided that I had to really sort it all out and find out what was happening. I went to see Dr Honoky but was slightly wary as I was wondering whether this was another dead end for me. On my first visit I was told that to sort out the problem an X-ray of my spine was needed and then he could work out what the problem and treat it correctly from there. I have since been able to move a lot more freely, no pain at night or during the day, I don't have to think about running before I run I just do it as I am now pain free. I would highly recommend Dr Honoky for his full 16 week treatment - it will be money well spent - to live pain free is a blessing that you don't realize until you have been in pain for a long time and then are pain free

For as long as I continue to break myself he ( magic hands Homoky) is able/willing to treat me he is my go to Chiro- No bells and whistles- Good old fashioned tutting and manipulation but worth every penny. Fantastic experience: Well I was persuaded by my son to try Chiropractic again for my Chronic back pain, for which I have suffered for ,for almost 6/7 years. I had Chiropractic some years ago it helped but was pricey. So this time I went for the nearest to my home. Fantastic experience: I have been suffering for quite sometime with intense and long lasting migraine and back pain. Following a friend's recommendation, I decided to try my luck at Dr Paul clinic. Not only does it help on a short time with my current migraine, the program tailored for my needs is improving my quality of life greatly on the long term. It is not only a chiropractor practice, but also various adjustment advices and suggestions on a daily basis that are offered to help improve your health. I would highly recommend it. The clinic also provide great massage therapy which compliment well chiropractor's session. It is a nice family atmosphere, clean and great value/price which on a side note given the current Covid situation is very reassuring.

Fantastic experience: Paul changed my life. During the first visit I received instant relief from almost unbearable back pain and further gradual alleviation of symptoms during subsequent visits. His treatment plan worked, now completely pain-free! So literally, Paul changed my life. He's always a good chat during visits. Importantly, I now understand the life-long health benefits of good posture, regular exercise, stretching and healthy working habits, which he passionately discussed all throughout various visits. I received a quick diagnosis without any scans required. His treatment had an effect every single time. Massage therapists, Costin and Alice, are highly recommended. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Health For Life. I have used both their chiropractic and their stretch & strengthen services since moving to Edinburgh last year. Dr. Homoky and Agathe Girard (who is now practicing in Perth) have both done more to actually figure out my posture issues and exactly what was causing them, and to recommend ways for me to work on strengthening and loosening my shoulders on my own than any of my previous chiropractors. Dr. Homoky also hosts various events and talks focusing on holistic wellness and health, which are full of good advice on how to take care of your body beyond your bones. Everyone in the office is really nice and friendly, and they offer a student discount, which was a big help. Overall, my entire experience with Health For Life has been amazingly positive, and has helped me so much. I highly recommend Health For Life to anyone looking for something more proactive than just a monthly maintenance back-crack.

Fantastic experience: First appointment here today, and it was excellent. I'd never visited a Chiropractor before, but I'd been suffering with lower back pain for 6+ weeks. The whole experience was very good from start to finish. the Dr was extremely knowledgable and following an adjustment he made to my back, I felt immediately better. I had better mobility and much less pain. I have a follow up appointment, which I'm very much looking forward to.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Health for Life centre a few months ago after suffering an injury while training which caused a persistent and incapacitating pain in my lower back. Paul assessed me, made my back and neck "crack" and "pop" during a series of sessions and I am pleased to say that the pain disappeared after a couple of months. More importantly, Paul and Agathe (who does the stretching classes) gave me tons of advice in terms of posture, in particular at work when sitting in front of a computer, and helped me developing a stretching routine that fits my lifestyle (I do a lot of cycling and hillwalking, play football and practice Muay Thai, amongst other things). I now do the stretching exercises on a daily basis and I must say that I've never had back pain since then and am also feeling stronger and MUCH more flexible! It did cost some money and I could have spent more on many of the items on sale at the centre (I decided not too essentially for financial reasons) but it was certainly worth it and I would do it again if needed. All staff are very professional and friendly and I now enjoy going to the centre every one or two months for a check (as one would regularly go to the dentist).

Fantastic experience: After another debilitating weekend with migraine I found this place through Google. I phoned the Monday morning & was relieved that Dr Paul could fit me in that day. I am so pleased I found 'health for life' as the team has improved my health drematically. I have seen the nutritionalist & had 121 stretch classes. All the team compliment each other very well. Of course this is a 2 way thing & I have had to change adapt my lifestyle, but with the support & assistance from the team I have found this easy. I also value Dr Paul's words of wisdom.

Negative experience: I found Dr Homoky to be a good and thorough chiropractor and he really listened when I was explaining my back problem and concerns. However he works between 2 patients at once meaning his time is split between yourself and another patient. One day I was in he was trying to sell me a back stretcher which cost nearly £40! I had already heard him trying to sell it to the patient before me which I thought was rather cheeky and then he was going on about 'let's get you booked in for our stretch classes'. I personally found it all a bit overwhelming and a hard sell when you already pay £30 or more per visit for 10-15 minutes of someone's time. Overall not great.

Fantastic experience: Paul and the team were all superb. I can't recommend them enough. They offer a fantastically complete service that you're unlikely to get elsewhere. The chiropractor work is complimented well with massage and exercise classes when you need it. Other nutritional and lifestyle support is also provided. Unfortunately I moved away from Edinburgh otherwise I would be continuing my care with them, however they were also supportive in passing on the records of my treatment so I can find someone new nearby.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience of brilliant service, expertise, knowledge and overall approach! I visited Health for Life walking broken with enormous amount of pain in my neck and back. At hospital the sent me to surgery but I refused and was looking for an alternative and chiropractic. After couple of weeks of intensive treatments, those 'clicks' as well, I was getting back to my age of younger person, felt like a new person. I am very delighted with all the care I'm getting. Very 'human' approach and lovely staff. Actually you don't feel like at doctor's. I'm only on regular check-ups now. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: After visiting the clinic with what seemed to be a frozen shoulder it was assessed that I had two slipped discs in my kneck along with other concerns regarding my posture. After approximately 5 appointments my kneck pain had completely disappeared - im now on my 14th appointment & I am feeling 100% better.
