Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with the progress I have made seeing CJ for Zone Therapy. I had given up going to physiotherapy due to the fact that I seemed to have spent lots of money with no real benefit. However, this has all changed since visiting Revive Health and I am finally free of my sciatica. Back and shoulder pain has also disappeared and I feel more mobile than I have in years. The assessment is free and I also received some treatment for a pinched nerve in my lower back and she made some skeletal adjustments that were not painful and my back felt so much better. CJ also gave some great advice post treatment to help to continue my recovery. Fantastic experience: I went to see Katy in quite a lot of pain and limited movement in my neck and arms. Pain in my arm, elbow, shoulder and sciatic area. Now, I’m not saying the treatment didn’t hurt sometimes, but it was absolutely necessary and completely worth it. I am now more aware of how I stand and sit and will also keep doing the stretches and exercises given. Katy was so lovely and I enjoyed catching up with her each session!

Fantastic experience: Following an initial consultation, I signed up for 6 physio sessions to cover 2 different sports injuries. I have been really pleased as both injuries are much improved. Sam was very attentive at providing me with an appropriate exercise plan to work on independently while monitoring progress and using a mixture of massage and shockwave therapy in the sessions. Very professional. I can now incorporate the exercises in my general fitness routine and would certainly return for any additional treatment.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Revive Health by a work colleague that had gone there for treatment and was very impressed and I had seen for myself the improvement in how she managed at work. The improvement in my foot is outstanding. Before the treatment I would wake up some mornings and not be able to put my foot on the floor and walk! Fantastic experience: I've brought my daughter to Revive for help with a hip injury as we'd seen CJ previously. As she's a serious dancer, this issue needed fixing. After an assessment, her treatment was mainly carried out by Sam and his physio treatment, excersises and advice have really helped. He worked out ways to help her that fitted in with her schedule and got her back dancing as quickly as possible.

Fantastic experience: Although it's an hour's drive for me, working with CJ at Revive is worth every teaspoon of petrol used! I originally went for neck & shoulder problems and had to work hard between appointments on my homework exercises! These are essential for undoing long standing issues & helping my body to realign itself. Reward? A massage : ) BUT - be warned! - This is not a mimsy massage but the knots and crunchy bits don't stand a chance under CJ's magic hands! Most recently I consulted CJ for back spasms, and as always she explained exactly what was wrong and after 2 sessions, I was SO much better. These also included Zone work - what a revelation. I'm now doing lots of my own reading around the practice, with a view to working with CJ to tackle my coeliac disease. Watch this space!

Fantastic experience: Hi , I have been going to CJ over the years. Their new premises in "ASDA Plaza" are convenient because there are plenty of parking space and easy access . I have been treated recently by Sam the physio (lovely chap) and now by their newest colleague Vicky. She found all the niggly knots and worked them free. Every year there are a few more, now that I am into my 70's. But I just keep going! The treatment rooms are well designed, with anatomy diagrams on the wall to help with explanations. Manual treatments are used more than equipment, and then they remind me of the good exercises for me. Also they talk with you about useful adjustments of posture in your every day life. Try them. You will agree!

Fantastic experience: Having been a client of Revive Health Chelmsford for close to 6 months now I can safely say I have returned to be very high on my own personal 'Straight Index'. Let me explain. I have suffered from irregular back pain & general discomfort for close to 40 years following a skiing incident as a teenager. Since receiving treatment and importantly performing the 'prescribed' stretches and gentle exercises can now say that the discomfort is now far more manageable. This is a huge win for me personally and all I can say is thank you to CJ for her care.

Fantastic experience: I've been having treatment for a while for back pain. I've had different treatments from deep tissue massage to acupuncture and was definitely beginning to feel the effects. Things were improving! This week I have had Zone therapy treatment and I have to say, the effects are astonishing. I can still feel an ache in my lower back, but the pain has mainly gone. I have three more sessions booked, so I'm hopeful that this will put me on the road to complete recovery. CJ is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I visited Revive Health yesterday, and had a lower leg massage on both legs from the knees down to my feet . I suffer from Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, this means I get fluid retention in my lower legs , ankles and feet. This can at times be extremely painful , but after an excellent massage to these areas by Vicky my legs and feet were much more relaxed and comfortable. This young lady is excellent at her job , and I would recommend Vicky to anyone in need of an easing of their symptoms , whilst being made to feel very relaxed. I have already booked my next appointment in two weeks time, and I am looking forward to it very much ! Trevor

Fantastic experience: Revive were recommended to me by one of the fitness instructors at Riverside Leisure. CJ is one of there most knowledgeable and practical health professionals I've met, along with the team, Revive offer holistic physiotherapy that is results focused. Revive have successfully treated me previously for chronic tennis elbow no one else could cure, and more recently a nagging and persistent intercostal muscle strain, after three treatments things are definitely improving and I can now see light at there end of the tunnel! Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Revive enough. I was struggling with pain in my right leg for months, coming up to a year. When I ran it was fine, shortly after finishing it would hurt for about 24 hours then would subside to a dull ache. Until I ran again and the same would start all over again. Running faster (for me) and further caused more pain, so I stopped and just plodded around but I was fed up. I had seen other professionals however no one had managed to identify or solve the problem. When I first spoke to Ali he was great. Really listened to what I was saying and identified that he thought that CJ would be the best fit to help me. A week later I had my first appointment with CJ and she was amazing. Within about 15 minutes of meeting me she had identified the cause of the problem and told me how we were going to fix it. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but from the first appointment there was a vast improvement. I was able to run faster again and further. I had to go back for further treatment and had some homework (strength work) but after about 3 months I need no more treatment. I am fixed! I still need to keep up with strength but I haven’t had the same pain in my leg at all since about 2 weeks after first meeting CJ. The team have also been great and put my hip in the right place both before and after some races I have been at recently. I will never be the fastest runner but I enjoy it. That enjoyment got lost in amongst the pain but now it is back! Thank you CJ and team!

Fantastic experience: Have been seeing CJ for zone therapy re menopause. The difference is amazing. The brain fog has cleared and the body/mental fatigue has gone. Sleep is greatly improved as well. Would totally recommend trying this.

Fantastic experience: So much to say, but short version is that I was injured in January and about to cancel my London Marathon attempt with Farleigh Hospice due to calf issue. Previous physio did not solve it. Had a consultation with CJ and Ali, was 'balanced' - which I still do not understand and incredibly within a week I was mobile after 4 weeks out. Training plan into place, balancing continued with Katy providing physio every week up until the start. I honestly owe everything to these guys, I came to them in desperation and ended up finishing London Marathon 3 months later. Not only that, I was able to complete 6 half marathons in a row and a marathon as part of training! Unbelievable, awesome and brilliant - huge thumbs up!! Fantastic experience: I’ve had 6 weeks of shock wave and physio to my lower back, glutes and ham strings by Katy. 6 weeks ago I was in agony, signed off work and thought the pain would never go away. Fantastic experience: Made an urgent appointment to see Katy at Revive after getting a hamstring strain a few days before going to France to play in a football tournament. Katy treated my injury and did such an excellent job that I was able to play when I was sure I wasn't going to be able too. I have subsequently signed up for a number of sessions to ensure my fitness continues. I cannot recommend Katy and Revive highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Revive Health for over 2 years now and the service I’ve received has been superb. I initially went for a long term injury/pain that I hadn’t been able to get rid of and they really helped get to get the root cause of the problem and am grateful to say fixed the problem. I have continued to see them for regular sports physio and massages, which have really helped me stay injury free despite training 4-5 a week. Aside from the treatment I’ve received, Ali’s knowledge of sports (training, performing, nutrition etc) has been invaluable to me, as I regularly discuss with him what goals and events I'm working towards. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: I am a retired nurse so have a greater degree of scientific knowledge than the general public. I had ultrasound and massage from Katy for my lateral knee pain. This was pleasant but had no long-term effect. As regards Zone therapy I think this is mumbo-jumbo and had no effect.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service and high level of expertise. Ali and CJ have provided treatment to me for several sport related injuries resulting in full recovery and also provide excellent sports massage for maintenance and injury prevention. I can highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I've been working with CJ for about a year now. I presented with historical sporting injuries from 40 years of rugby, squash, football et al. This was compounded by a massive stroke in 2013 which has left physiological damage that's complicated by unwanted neuro resposes. CJ and sometimes Charlie have the patience of Job. But having almost crawled into the practice a year ago bent double and feeling like a very old man, I'm now walking tall and we're gradually working round my body. Thanks guys for your skill and persistence. I dread to think where I'd be now without your interventions.

Fantastic experience: I think the most important thing about physios is them giving you confidence they know what they're talking about. CJ does this in spades. And it's a sensible approach to rehabilitation. Not necessarily "don't do anything for weeks" but "trust your body". Support and "teamwork" approach to getting over your injury. Booking system is superb.

Fantastic experience: I have suffered with lower back/upper hip issues for some time and as my volume ramped up this year, discomfort turned into pain, which stopped me training altogether. CJ & Ali noticed an issue with my hip alignment and the fix would not be simple - frequent visits help to have the hips sitting in the correct place and thus has allowed me to revert back to neutral inserts in my running shoes and cycling cleats. Before it was suggested 1 leg might be longer than the other but it seems all along the issues were my hips. In terms of reducing the pain, I received ‘Zone’ treatment - I’ll be honest at first I was slightly sceptical as the process works on the spine, flushing out various systems allowing my body to start to heal itself. But as the sessions ticked by, the results were incredible, and the pain all but vanished. I’m extremely grateful for the way CJ & Ali have fixed my body and educated me on how to take better care of it myself. Thank you both for your care and incredible knowledge.

Both CJ and Ali are experts in their field and have done an incredible job helping me get Marathon ready over the past 6 months. I've had a few training niggles in preparation for the marathon, even the week before I had an issue with my calf and Ali was able to resolve the problem but also put my mind at ease and ready for the day. I race bicycles semi-professionally and revive’s regular treatment sessions with Ali have made a huge difference to my performance and well-being. There is a wealth of knowledge among the clinicians and any niggles or injuries will be diagnosed and treated with cutting edge technology in an efficient and effective manner. If you are looking for a regular sports massage or injury recovery/treatment, look no further. Further to my original review, revive are now pioneering a new treatment which is game changing. Fantastic experience: I saw Charlie with some lower back pain, hamstring tightness and tension that prevented me from standing straight. Within an hour she had ironed me out. She was calm, I felt relaxed and she really knew what she was talking about. Pinpointing the pain pain points, she was able to relieve the tension easily and give me some exercises to try at home. I felt miles better after an hour and would highly recommend Charlie.
