Pros:

Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym: Reviews
Fantastic experience: Help out a friend now and then watching an older sibling during baby pool sessions, and would rate front line staff on the reception and cafe 100/10. Accommodating, patient(with toddlers), polite and welcoming at every visit :)
Negative experience: I tried a free trial session today. Just used the pool and sauna. I was shocked at how dirty everything was. Even the swimming pool was dirty! There are lots of health & safety issues everywhere i looked. Im sure if inspectors came in they would close the place.
Fantastic experience: I've been a member for nearly a month the facilities are excellent, clean tidy the pool is lovely. The fitness classes are excellent and the body pump and body combat classes with Fhi Robertson are what prompted this 5 star review I have been to many classes at many different gyms over the years but Fhi is the best trainer I have come across. I struggle with confidence to go to classes like body pump and she set me at ease the classes I had this morning were full of energy and fun and when Fhi noticed I was struggling she came over and gave me direction honestly cannot rate her enough and if Nuffield gave her more classes a week I'd be fit in no time!
Fantastic experience: Smashing club. Excellent pool, steam room, sauna and powerful jacuzzi. The gym is really well equipped. PTs on hand for sessions or advice. Excellent showers and the changing rooms clean and well looked after. Padlocks required for men's lockers. Smart common areas with multiple vending machines. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended, especially with Vitality or AXA membership which gives you a solid discount.
Positive experience: I recently signed up to this gym through a discounted membership. PROS - It a big site and spacious, Instructors for classes are engaging, lots of facilities (however...). Sauna is nice and in the changing room so separate female/ male. Central location, huge carpark CONS - No AC which is strange just fans!, there is lots of equipment but its dated (maybe they could sell some of the underused equipment for new pieces), changing room benches & showers are in need to a revamp. Overall I'd say lots of space but due a refurb.. they would get more members if the did which would help finance the refurb. I also go to Village Gym and I'd say the equipment there is far better...top notch...but its so small and busy too may members for the size.
Negative experience: I made a complaint about this gym and cancelled my membership as it no longer met my needs. The management made no reference to my complaint in their response saying only that I must pay for a further month. When I reiterated my complaint they again only responded to seek payment. I joined this gym as it had a pool and crèche facility allowing me to access the gym whilst my grandson was in the crèche ,then enjoy a swim with him. The pool was closed on at least nine occasions at the beginning of the year usually with very little notice. The crèche then closed without any notification although I had been using it regularly for over 18 months. I would not recommend joining as it is gradually being run down before its eventual closure.
Hi Julie, thanks for your feedback. Our Glasgow Central club has never had a creche facility as we are the one located on Finnieston street. If you wish to discuss the membership or issues one of our team can be in touch.
Thanks,
NH Glasgow Central
Negative experience: Stay away from physio. Reception staff great, but when you get to the point - phisio, the girl is going to charge you a massive amount of money for 10 min. Visit and do nothing. The worst experience I've ever had with a physiotherapist.
Negative experience: Went for a free trial and wouldn't go back. A lot of the equipment is run down. The rubber on some of the weights has come away and is exposing the metal layers within. The speaker in the weights section is horrible and tinny, really irritating. The watt bikes were rickety. The price of a monthly membership is not reflective of the quality in any way. However, the staff were nice.
Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly staff who provide a great service
Negative experience: The place is genuinely falling apart, I don't think they've spent a single penny on it in the last 5 years. I only continue to go here as I get it free with my work. Pros: it has a pool Cons: the walls/equipment/lockers/floors are in comically bad shape, it's dirty, the staff are grumpy, every machine is on its last legs. The place desperately needs investment but we all know the parent company won't do it.
Negative experience: I went for a free trial tonight. The girl working on reception was amazing. So friendly and helpful. However, I was not impressed with the actual facility. Although there is plenty of great equipment it felt dated. The changing rooms/ swimming in particular. Hair on the floor, dirt in the bottom of the pool and mould in the shower. I was not impressed considering the price expected to pay for a membership. Definitely put off.
Fantastic experience: Davey’s cycle classes always give a great beasting and keep us coming back!
Thanks for your great feedback !
Fantastic experience: I recently visited Nuffield Glasgow Central and was thoroughly impressed with the service and facilities. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They appear to take a genuine interest in your fitness journey and offer guidance and support if needed. I’ve yet to attend a class however they appear varied and I’ve heard instructors are enthusiastic and motivating. The gym appears clean with a wide selection of equipment however these could do with an upgrade in comparison to other gyms I’ve visited. Overall, I would recommend to family and friends and look forward to being a member for the foreseeable future.
Fantastic experience: Had a few questions about the gym today and different classes available. Emily was super helpful and friendly at the reception. Lots offered in the gym and centre as a whole. Very pleased.
Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, not too busy. Staff are nice too especially Emily who helped with memberships.
Fantastic experience: Davi
Fantastic experience: Day made by Kirsty. Always greeted with a smile and such wonderful service! Thank you!
Fantastic experience: Love coming to this place, such a friendly feeling about it. Big shout out to Amy Easdon- so motivational and always makes you feel involved. 10/10.
Fantastic experience: Fantastic Gym great staff and always spotless easily the best Gym in Glasgow by a long shot. Loads of machines and tonnes of free weights. Great relaxation area from the steam rooms to the loungers. 10 out of 10 from me
Fantastic experience: Excellent and clean facilities. Never overly busy
Fantastic experience: Good gym, good pool and staff are great -especially Vernon the PT
Fantastic experience: Dance class for me has captured my way of cardio work out twice a week with Collette. I am so proud of her commitment for everyone to be in activity and sport, no matter what your challenges are. Collette has always been an incredible support and master of all people's challenges and diection of all aims for themselves. People know Collette and are motivated by this PT. Collette is given so much to everyone to be confident in taking their first steps in their commitment and acknowledgement that they need support. Her magnification for others is outstanding. She has transformed so many Nuffield attenders and made their journey to fitness and better health outlooks in life for their future. I commend her for her day to day belief in others. She makes a huge difference in others. The gym is superb
Fantastic experience: Really nice gym staff are friendly and approachable. The gym has a good variety of equipment, a good-sized swimming pool and lots of classes. The staff in the cafe are lovely and the coffee's so nice. If you're looking for a personal trainer, I would recommend Vernon.
Fantastic experience: Best gym ever! Friendly staff and spacious gym
Fantastic experience: Go to Colette's dance class and it is such fun. A really friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic experience: Been member of this gym for many years , great facilities, staff are incredibly friend and helpful. PT Colette does a dance class and it's great fun she keeps the energy sky high and makes it fun and enjoyable for unexperienced and experienced members
Fantastic experience: Roisin was very welcoming on the front desk. I also received some good tips from Amy the PT on gaining muscle mass
Fantastic experience: Only joined over 5 weeks ago but loving the gym environment and Amy is a great PT . Looking forward to my next 5 weeks!!
Fantastic experience: Glasgow central Nuffield is a great place to go to. The staff are fantastic, Willie’s classes are great and everyone is so helpful. Special mention to Amy Easdon who always has a smile on her face and brings a bit of sunshine to the club.
Fantastic experience: This gym is really good, great facilities although steam room could be better and the A/C needs fixed in the changing rooms. The staff are all really friendly, especially Rosh on reception who always goes above and beyond to help
Fantastic experience: A big shout out to Amy for motivating me today. I took a week off Skiing and was dreading the gym today. First person I meet gives me the best welcome and tells me she is planning a brutal HIT class on Thursday. Never change Amy. Your class is fabulous
Fantastic experience: Great place, staff are really nice. Big thank you to Roisin, she is fab!
Fantastic experience: Read a few bad reviews about this place but I have to disagree! I’d also like to shout out Amy Easdon - she was super helpful putting me at ease and answered my many questions, thanks!!!
Fantastic experience: Lovely looking club, would definitely recommend if you’re wanting a relaxing evening in the spa
Fantastic experience: A lovely place with great staff. Relaxing too.
Fantastic experience: The cafe is a bit drab but the staff, especially Kirsty and Emma, brighten the place up and are always smiley and upbeat. There's been a lot of improvements to the place which is great but would like to see the equipment updated
Fantastic experience: Good gym ,swimming pool, plunge pool, sauna, steam room what else can you ask for great place to chill out
Positive experience: As a long time (15year ) Nuffield member I use this one on weekends Staff are nice and friendly as are the membership. Classes are decent Good car park and location Gym equipment is decent. Maintenance is poor especially shower areas and changing rooms ( this is a general Nuffield problem) Gents toilet need new cubicles and a new vanity unit. Emergency lighting defunct for 1 plus year. Could do with significant investment to bring it up to standard.
Negative experience: The gym is a great example of somewhere run by accountants. Was a member there for 3 years, as I lived next door to it. Gym membership went up more than 30% in that time, all the while they closed the hot tubs due to rising costs. I appreciate cost of living was an issue but no way that costs are up that much, just blatant attempt at profiteering from it. Management regularly send out surveys to members, which I filled in and never once seen any improvement. Temperature in the gym is also extremely frustrating. No AC in the summer so it is unbearably hot and in the winter heating on so also unbearably hot. Equipment is also very limited, with popular equipment only having 1 of, so regularly have to wait on people to get on something. Overall a really poor gym experience, I was lucky to be there on a discounted rate, but if you are paying the full price of almost £80, you are being taken as a mug! If you want a cheap gym I would suggest going to any other cheap chain brands as these will definitely be better equipped. If you need the swim and sauna I would honestly go to any other gym in the west end. Should note the staff are all really nice, no complaints about them!
Negative experience: Unfortunately a really poor gym - imagine a poor hotel gym from circa 2005. Cheap, flimsy equipment that feels both inadequate and unsafe. Limited range of weights, benches etc & the ones that do exist are really fighting for the same small, cramped space.
Negative experience: Unfortunately, the club is really poorly maintained. Clearly no interest in investing in its upkeep. It is not paticularly clean and the showers are mouldy with broken doors.
Negative experience: Card only no cash with pricing policy like a brides nitie went for 1st time on Saturday day pass for sauna swim 10pounds went 4 days later on Wed to be charged 15pounds when inquired why increased be told new management ??? Apart from the unclear prices and lack off cash options facilities were nice x
Fantastic experience: I visited this club today. Right from friendly staff at the reception through to facilities, I loved every bit. I went there around 7 pm, so it wasn’t too crowded. The steam room was closed, but used sauna instead. It is sad to see the poor reviews, but I would say in comparison to Manchester Printworks, which is my home gym, this is way better! I would return back again for sure.
Negative experience: I am new member in the gym and classes. I appreciate the class rota and PT who are really out of their reach to make me comfortable and flex up the actions for ease and muscle toning. Big up to all PT it's great work. Only fault is the microphones in the classroom keep breaking up and the audio instructor can't really work without it. The gym mats are old and stained . Need a new and cushioned up. More improvement on the swimming pool surface as can easily slipp off when getting off the showers. Thanks
Fantastic experience: A great gym right in the centre of town. Got new spin bikes recently which is great for me. Don't use the pool often but it looks good too. Staff seem friendly and if you have a question they'll help you out
Negative experience: Generally this club appears to be run on a shoestring budget by accountants rather than people who actually want the club to be a nice place. The club in general is very tired, grubby and in some areas extremely dirty. Maintenance issues throughout. I was really disappointed as the Nuffield club that I went to in Newcastle was faultless but this Glasgow gym could not be more different. Gym- the equipment itself is plentiful but is generally very tired. The upkeep and replacement of worn equipment is slow. The gym is very hot, I found it too hot to ever use a treadmill comfortably. Pool- the pool itself is generally clean and quiet. The Jacuzzis have been permanently closed. The steam room is fine. The sauna is always very busy and it can be struggle to get a seat. The sauna is never very clean, the floor is dirty and sweat all over the benches. Some members frequently using very bad language in the sauna making a ‘relaxing’ experience unpleasant. Changing facilities - For a mid-range club the changing facilities are awful. Lockers and benches are very tired, often dirty and the floor is filthy. The showers are beyond awful, extremely dirty, I have never seen them look clean. Some showers are completely broken and have been for upwards 9 months with no fix. Washbasin area in the changing room was recently replaced with a broken sink and tatty old bench. The club in general is very tired, grubby and in some areas extremely dirty. I made numerous informal complaints about various aspects of the club but nothing was ever done. I gave the club a chance but I have recently canceled my membership and moved to another gym. There are better clubs out there at a better price and better facilities. I would not recommend Nuffield Health Glasgow Central.
Fantastic experience: I have read some bad reviews for this place but I must say I totally disagree. I found everything fantastic. It’s a lovely quiet gym. The staff were lovely from Lesley at reception to Eve who gave me a tour of the place. All the facilities were perfect. Plenty of cardio equipment, weightlifting area was impeccable and the swimming pool/sauna/steam room is exactly what I wanted them to be. And then the shower/changing room were spotless. I couldn’t find a problem if I tried.
Fantastic experience: Amazing gym and staff. I do a lot of classes (good availability overall and variety. My favourites are bodypump, core & circuits) I’ve done some PT sessions with Beki which were really good. She’s awesome and has helped me achieve some of my fitness goals within a few months. The creche is also amazing, I wish it was open at the weekend too! My toddler loves going and it’s helped me to maintain a good level of fitness too. I don’t know of any other gyms in the area with this facility. Would highly recommend this gym (it’s also never too busy, even at peak times I can use all the equipment I’d like to)
Fantastic experience: Place is nice and welcoming Staff are amazing classes are so good Great smoothies. /food at the caffe. Swimming pool is so relaxing. Lots classes. For everyone. Of all ages. warm and friendly atmosphere I ❤️it.
Negative experience: Went for a free trial at this ‘luxury’ gym and didn’t go back. The place is falling apart; broken tiles on the shower floor, broken taps, jacuzzi permanently out of order-the list goes on. Quite shocking to see a facility in such a state of disrepair, it needs a complete refurbishment.
Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff and the medical team were excellent
Negative experience: The place is falling apart. Jacuzzis permanently turned off, Steam room not steamy enough... overall in need of investment. Membership is too expensive for what it is.
Negative experience: The gym has really gone downhill over the past couple years with no signs of improving. The facilities are neglected, with a lack of cleanliness and many maintenance issues which take ages to get fixed (waiting nearly 2 months now for the hand dryer to be fixed, and provided no paper towels in the meantime). Real insult to the paying customers that these basic issues take months to be sorted - the gym is not cheap and you would expect a much higher standard. The place needs some investment and initiative from the management. There are many other gyms out there which cost significantly less but provide a far better service.
Negative experience: Before covid I was happy to come in every day and this place was maintained. Now it's going down hill. My guess bozos in nuffield so called managment will be selling this place to a different group so that's why all gyms are neglected and they don't even clean sauna and steam rooms. Too cheap to pay for cleaning really.
Negative experience: This place has went down hill since joining 2 years ago. The management team have no interest in maintaining the facility and fixing broken items. The mens changing room hand washing area has had a water damaged work surface since the day I joined the gym, sadly 2 years later nothing has been done to fix this, apart from a 'not in use' sticker. Really embarrassing this has happened for so long and paints a real picture of the managements attitude towards the paying customers! Same goes for the hand dryer which is always broken, for the last 3 weeks I've had to ask for paper towels to be supplied to allow people to dry hands, which most of the time the reception staff just ignore. Also noticed recently the emergency button in the sauna is broken with a 'not in use' sticker above it which they seem to think is acceptable with anything thats damaged within the gym, rather than actually rectify the problem. Simple things you'd expect from a private gym which is not cheap, you just don't get what you pay for at this facility and they clearly have no interest whatsoever in fixing these problems. It's a real shame what's happened to the gym and the management don't care for the customers interests, I'll not be renewing my membership just wish I could cancel sooner. Anyone thinking of joining this January should go elsewhere for more value for money.
Negative experience: My trial experience at this gym was disappointing, to say the least. The facilities seemed neglected, with a noticeable lack of cleanliness and maintenance issues throughout. The environment felt uninviting due to the facility’s poor upkeep, and safety concerns arose, notably in the slippery conditions of the steam room floor. Regrettably, based on this initial encounter, I don’t believe the membership cost justifies the subpar conditions and overall experience.
Negative experience: What a miserable and tired place with no customer service - would give 0 stars if I could! I was a member for many years but cancelled my membership last December as this place is literally falling apart. The state of the facilities is not what you'd expect from a private health club. It's very tired looking, equipment is falling apart, sauna smells badly and the jacuzzi is permanently out of use. I sent in some kind feedback to make management aware about the poor state of the sauna (smells bad and has black dirt/mould under the wooden slabs), broken spin bikes and terrible sound system in the spin studio, and I got the rudest email back from the manager. I wonder if they have ever come across the concept of "customer service"?!? I had another trial recently as was looking to potentially re-join but I am sorry to say nothing has changed since I left last winter. They won't be getting another penny from me. The friendliest and most helpful member of staff is their cleaner (she is genuinely really lovely and friendly) - no one else bothers to say hello, crack a smile or show any willingness to be helpful. It was like drawing blood from a stone trying to get membership information and costs from them at my trial. They really don't seem to care. It's a real shame. Good bye Nuffield Glasgow!
Negative experience: Leaving the gym!! I lost my phone recently and phoned back first thing in the morning, ask the staff Lesley to check the phone for me. The woman who picked up my call, has zero empathy. First she told me she doesn’t have time to check, apparently she is too busy. She will only be able to check for my phone when she is not busy and of course she won’t know when, doesn’t want to promise me anything for when she can check my phone, because she has too many things to do. After awhile, she checked for me and phoned back but I missed the call. When I spoke to her on the phone, told her that I missed a phone call, she told me that she has already left me voice message. I then told her that I didn’t listen the voice message, can she tell me what she left. She then unhappily told me that she didn’t find my phone. I told her that I want to speak to her general manager, she told me that the manager is in London, she can’t check her managers diary and doesn’t know when he will be back. And then she asked me why I want to speak to her manager. Then she start whinnying about she went to the safer, and the locker, the things she has done for me. She made it sounds like she has done so much for me and I owned her. Wanted me feel sorry, I don’t feel sorry, because this is your job. You have zero empathy for someone losing the phone and in the end you wanted to even that person feel sorry for you. I feel she is not suitable for the job and zero EQ. If you don’t want someone ruin your day better avoid her.
Negative experience: Too crowded, can’t even get a bench sometimes. Not much equipments and some aren’t working for the membership price. Giving two stars for the swimming pool and sauna which is not crowded but out of the two jacuzzis only one works with no warm water.
Negative experience: Just renewed membership but first visit this afternoon and can't say I'll be rushing back. Pool very cold, both jacuzzis out of order. Unacceptable for the price! Will be phoning in to cancel and get my money back this week
Negative experience: The fact that they hot tubs aren’t HOT is ridiculous. They decrease their energy bill but make us pay the same price. Absurd!
Fantastic experience: Staff very lovely and friendly
Positive experience: The place is slowly crumbling unfortunately. Lots of damaged showers, lockers and cubicles, TVs in cardio area hardly work, hot tubs permanently closed, weight disks look so old and vary so much in style it's like they've been donated over the years. Staff are nice but the place needs investment and fixed up.
Negative experience: Always dirty, shocking few days again seen RAT passing from shower Room straight to cleaning area, sauna always smells and dusts everywhere around .
Negative experience: Pool cold. Jacuzzi is weirdly cold and other 2 jacuzzis out of order. Never had experience of a cold jacuzzi it is totally unacceptable. Minerva Pool also very cold and ladies showers in Minerva St. also in real need of repair. Thermostats dont work in showers and tiles broken in the showers which could cause a bad cut if not wearing flip flops. Think Nuffield running them into the ground an swim 20 lengths and still not warmed up as pool cold.e
Negative experience: The Staff at this gym are exemplary and extremely helpful. I had high hopes for Nuffield, and was ready to sign up on the gym selection alone, but after sampling the second priority for me as a customer - the sauna - I’ve changed my score drastically. The Sauna was literally covered in hair, and came complete with the literal smell of feces. Considering I was there during a quiet period, the level of cleanliness just isn’t going to cut it for me as a consumer, especially given the 30 minute sauna cycle I was keen to try out (all the rage at the moment!!). Needs improvement
Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place, there is a wonderful gym facility, swimming pool and infra sauna steam.
Fantastic experience: On muscle strengthening programme with Collette- excellent- in a few weeks big changes in my movement Thank you Colette! Good fun in the group Mary
Fantastic experience: Front of house staff are always friendly, and patient with the access gate always acting up. Cleaning staff in mens dressing room are always working hard and greet you with a smile. Not sure about the green button everyone has to press to exit , an automatic gate would be better and more hygienic.
Fantastic experience: Good equipment, friendly staff
Fantastic experience: Love my new gym staff are awesome very helpful John my PT amazing
Fantastic experience: One of the best luxury gym in Glasgow, with a full size swimming pool, 3 jacuzzi, s state of the art steam room, and a sauna, helpful staff, plenty of time to use all facilities, i have tried alot of gyms in Glasgow, this one is number one for me, best gym in Glasgow for me,
Fantastic experience: Would like to commend one of your PT's Molly Miller for her friendly approach and for being so helpful today , she is a credit to your company Regards Mark
Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and service....
Fantastic experience: Exceptional Staffs and Service
Fantastic experience: Always good experience
Positive experience: Quiet a good place . Got check up done with in minutes. Staff was helpful and cheerful and keep you engaged.
Fantastic experience: Wonderful center, 99% I attend classes and 1% gym. Sauna, steam and bathrooms are always good.Free parking spaces available and always I've been informed by e-mail if there is a change. Just Love It!
Fantastic experience: Studying level 3 the Body Core and spent the morning / afternoon sitting my practical assessment in the gym. ( passed :) ) lovely gym and swim area. Staff friendly and well presented
Hi Mariea, thanks for sharing this lovely feedback, pleased to hear it all went well. The Nuffield Glasgow Central Fitness and Wellbeing team.
Positive experience: Top notch.
Fantastic experience: GReat clean gym, with good equipment, pool, friendly. My only issue is that the wattbikes need fans near them , I always seem to be boiling when using them
Fantastic experience: The front of house were super friendly and the trainers too. Great and spacious facility with new equipment and lots of room. I enjoyed working out here. I need to extend a huge thank you to Tommy, the young blonde lady and Cam on the desk. I had lost my hairgel and I was getting ready for a wedding post gym session. I asked at front desk and the two on the desk scrambled around and managed to locate Tommy (whom I never met but thank alot) as he lent me his hair gel so I could get ready in time. Truly above and beyond. It really saved me alot of trouble and I was foreverrm grateful. What a wonderful bunch .
Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. New and clean facilities.
Negative experience: I am a member at this gym and yes good gym and good facilities but major down fall is the price amean 1 pound for a towel unbelievable amean some of the staff are brilliant tour there some that try there best not to let you in. 1 pound for a towel is abousalte shocking the woman witth the glases young tattoo on her leg. This woman is very cheeky and a hope you have a look her too. I will not renew my membership as it not worth it atol. David Lloyd ya for a extra 40 pound you have everything they treat very nice as you should if you pay a lot a month. Don’t join Nuffeild giffnock
Fantastic experience: Great Facility in Glasgow Very Clean Friendly Staff Good Classes
Fantastic experience: The gym is quite large and has a lot of machines and weight areas good for beginner, intermediate and advanced gym users. There is a huge swimming pool also. Everything seems quite up to date and is clean with water stations dotted throughout. I’ve only really been at non-peak times and saw only a couple of people around so never had any issues with waiting. Coming from London / nyc I think what you get for the price is very reasonable and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I’m pleased I used this gym while visiting Glasgow. I used a day pass here, and they offer towels for rent. There are also protein shakes for sale if you need one.
Fantastic experience: Great gym, helpful staff
Fantastic feedback Ian, thank you very much for sharing. We’re very pleased to read that you are enjoying your membership. We hope you like the recent changes we have made to the gym floor. King regards, the Glasgow central fitness and wellbeing team
Negative experience: They increased the prices, over charge people, virgin used to be much better.
Hi Isabila, our apologies for the price increases that we had to implement in 2017. Whilst we tried to absorb as much of these costs ourselves, we had to unfortunately increase the cost of membership to maintain services on-site. We have used some of the funds generated to recently refresh our gym floor, we hope you like the recent changes. With regards, the Glasgow Central Fitness and Wellbeing team
Fantastic experience: Sweet gym, reminds me of the big gyms back home in the US. Nuffield is probably the best in Glasgow, they have everything, lap pools, saunas, hot tubs and free weights. They have two gyms right next to each other, and you get access to both of them! Ewan in membership was awesome and treated me very well. Can't ask for a more transparent/fair pricing and sign up process. Ewan is a good guy and sign up went super smooth with him.
Good morning Peter, thank-you for your recent review. We really appreciate feedback and are grateful for your lovely comments. We hope to see you back in our gym again soon. Kind regards, Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
Negative experience: Changed the booking system to online only and only let certain members know about this. Disgraceful
Hi Stephen, thank-you for your recent review. If your email address was registered with us, you should have received an email about the change in our class booking process. We apologise if you did not receive the email or any additional information regarding the switch. Kind regards, Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
Fantastic experience: Never seems too busy, always very clean and has a good variety of classes and facilities
Hi Stuart,
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our Glasgow Central gym. We read and appreciate all feedback.
Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym
Fantastic experience: Gym is always lovely and clean, staff are friendly and facilities up to date. Love this gym.
Good Morning Katie, thank-you for your lovely 5* review. We really appreciate feedback and are grateful for your comments. We hope to see you in our gym again soon, Kind regards, Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
Fantastic experience: This is an outstanding gym. For a person who is very critical, this gym exceeds beyond expectations. The gym itself is conveniently next to Exhibition Centre and is in the beautiful, nice touristy part of Glasgow (by the River Clyde). It's so modern and clean inside. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly when I arrived (more than I bargained for!). A nice lady came and showed me a detailed tour around the gym, showing everything the gym had to offer. I was so surprised. In the café, they sold whey protein milkshakes and packets etc., so I was pleased.
Good Afternoon Johnathan, thank-you for your lovely 5* review! We really appreciate feedback and value our members comments! We hope that you continue to enjoy our range of gym facilities. Have a nice weekend. Kind regards, Nuffield Health Glasgow Central Fitness & Wellbeing Gym.
Positive experience: Equipment is all brand new, and the club as a whole is well worth the premium membership fee. Staff are all very friendly and always willing to be of assistence. Only complaint can be that there doesn't seem to be any form of membership cap for this place. The weights facilities are relatively small and can often be a struggle to access the equipment/machine you require.
Negative experience: Facilities are ok. Be careful with your contract details. They do misguide for getting membership.
