Negative experience: It has taken me a long time to find the courage to write this review, mostly because I was in complete shock for days after my experience, which triggered significant distress and panic attacks. Initially, I naively hoped that DD Clinical would reach out to apologise for what happened, but as no contact has been made, I feel compelled to share my experience. On 18 January 2024, I attended a follow-up appointment as part of my treatment for severe hyperpigmentation—a condition I’ve struggled with for a long time. As it worsened, it profoundly impacted my mental health and self-confidence, particularly due to how others react to my appearance. Two weeks prior, I had to cancel a scheduled appointment at the last minute because I had returned from holiday with a severe chest infection. Concerned about infecting others, I left a voicemail and sent an email to inform the clinic, as I was unable to reach anyone directly. I never received a response. I later had to call again to reschedule the appointment. On the day of the rescheduled appointment, I arrived five minutes early. While sitting in the waiting room, I overheard a conversation between my clinician, Gwen, and Susan at reception. Gwen asked Susan if she thought I would “bother showing up this time,” to which Susan responded by acknowledging that I had indeed cancelled the prior appointment but added that my cancellation indicated I wasn’t serious about my treatment and didn’t care. I was sitting right there, listening to these supposed professionals discussing me as though I wasn’t present. It was deeply unprofessional, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to glance in my direction to realise I had arrived. Gwen was 10 minutes late to see me. During the appointment, she dominated the conversation, giving me little opportunity to express my concerns, and it was evident she wasn’t actively listening. The session felt rushed, and she didn’t take any progress photos—likely because the treatment plan, which was supposed to yield results within 12 weeks, showed no visible progress at week 11. Instead, she recommended extending the treatment by another six weeks, purchasing additional products (some of the most expensive ones available), and undergoing an extra peel—all of which had not been communicated when I initially agreed to the treatment plan. This experience has left me incredibly disheartened. The treatment took all my savings and a great deal of courage to pursue, yet I was met with unprofessional behaviour and a lack of empathy. Overhearing such dismissive remarks about my commitment made me feel unwelcome and diminished. I expected better from a clinic that positions itself as a professional and supportive environment, and I hope this feedback prompts reflection on how clients are treated.

From the moment I made my appointment over the phone to when I left I was happy. The reception ladies were so kind and welcoming. I was seen by Dr Sekela & Helena. They both made me feel very comfortable as I was very nervous about dissolving my lips. They really listen to you & explain in great detail & give you the best advice. I was super happy with the results as my lips were so badly done and was super upset! I have finally found a place where I can trust &feel the happiest with the results. From the minute I rang for an appointment to the end of my appointment for tear trough filler I was treated with compassion , respect and I have never experienced such excellent customer service . Fantastic experience: Couldn’t recommend DD clinical academy more if I tried. I flew from Jersey to complete the training in Chester and was not disappointed. From start to finish it was seamless. I was welcomed with open arms, the tutor I had (Jane) was so professional and thorough yet friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable at all times. I actually got emotional leaving as I was so blown away by the kindness and just how easy going the whole training was but at the same time gave me so much Information and depth about products/ treatments including practicals too. I walked away with my certificate and am now confident to start my own business. Couldn’t have done it without the academy and really really highly recommend if you’re looking to train in this field. The academy/ clinic itself was also very high standard and just an all round great environment to be in! It’s a ten out of ten from me and I will definitely return to get some more qualifications! Fantastic experience: I started going to DD Clinical about 3 years ago when my confidence was really low (mainly due to melasma!). I love going there, the clinic is lovely and all the staff are so friendly. I have had numerous treatments and have been so happy with all of them. I am now a regular and feel so much more confident. The staff are very honest, they will tell you if you don't need a particular treatment. The aftercare is also great, I felt like I could ask many questions and go back to check things as needed. There is free parking which is great given that it is in the city centre (just remember to put your car registration in the computer when you enter).

Fantastic experience: Where do I begin... Just wow... When I thought I'd never be confident again the team at DD clinic completely changed that for me... I had a very round face and not much volume to it I was very insecure about it... But Ben & nurse Paula offered the perfect solution for me which was masseter Botox & a little bit of chin filler and I look amazing... Wouldn't go anywhere else now... Thankyou so so much for giving me my confidence back... Can't wait for my next lot of treatment... You guys are insane!!

Fantastic experience: I came here for skincare advice to help smooth my skin & refine my open pores. Dani the charming and knowledgeable owner listened to my concerns and suggested the ipixel laser treatment. I had a course of 6 treatments which smoothed the surface of my skin and also erased a bumpy scar on my nose I had had since I was 18! My foundation glides on my skin and looks so much smoother now. Am delighted and would definitely recommend. :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve received fantastic results DD clinical’s staff have always been friendly, very polite & helpful. They’ve worked miracles on my chest, neck & shoulders. Fantastic experience: The most beautiful clinic and highly professional staff. After suffering with hormonal breakouts for years, I was fed up and had lost hope in finding a solution (I'd tried everything from GP recommended treatments to Harley Street Dermatologists). However, after a course of Hydra Facials, coupled with Clear Skin treatments, my breakouts are under control and my skin has been transformed. Vic has turned my life around and has helped me so much I can’t thank her enough. If you’re in doubt about having hypnosis don’t be, it makes you feel amazing. I will continue to see Vic for a feel good every few months.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend DD clinical. I recently visited the clinic for a Hydra-facial. My therapist, Gwen was excellent, extremely knowledgeable and professional. My skin looked and felt amazing afterwards. The clinic itself looks beautiful, all of the staff are very attentive and friendly with a professional approach.

Negative experience: I went here for laser treatment for facial redness and laser removal of a tatoo. These treatments were anything but cheap and I experienced basically nothing from them other than side effects. Now I did only complete about half the course of treatment so maybe 4 sessions of laser tatoo removal and around the same for facial lasering. Having not completed the full course I would not expect to be all the way there but nothing really changed. My tatoo did not respond to the laser with even the black of it only getting a few small dots where it broke apart slightly but even they (eventually) acknowledged that it wasn't having the effect it should. This was after significant pain, swelling and blistering - normal side effects but not something you want to deal with for nothing at the end of it. The facial lasering similarly had no real effect - there was some short term minor reduction in threadveins on nostrils which is what I went in for before being sold on whole face lasering for redness but this was very minor and did not last. Within a week they looked the same. When I spoke to someone there about this they brushed my concerns off and said that they could see a big difference which was just not true and made me feel as if my concerns were not being taken seriously at all. Eventually I decided to stop going as I was not getting any result or anything to indicate that I would get a result eventually and I did not like how the staff treated my concerns. I did not consider it worth any money at all let alone what I had already spent so the idea of coming back and spending a fair bit more on the second half of an ineffectual treatment seemed pretty pointless. After I told them this they rang me up and went over things and said they would give me some money back as they acknowledged that the tatoo removal should have been more effective and that some people just don't respond - something I know to be true so I accepted that. They did not get in touch again however and I never got any money back. They also defended their collegue when I said that I felt they gaslighted me when I said I didn't think it was working by turning around and telling me that it actually is working and can't I see it and let's look at the pictures yeah there's a huge diffrence - there was none. She really got her back up about it and was quite rude - basically told me that's a strong word and her collegue would never do that in a rather blunt tone. Effectively she did exactly what her collegue did. Above having wasted the money this was what I found worst about this experience - I feel their customer service was lackluster. I will say there were other members of staff who were very nice but that doesn't make up for this. Overall I don't have experience with other buisinesses of this type and can't say how they compare but I personally would not recommend this place at all.

I had a consultation for a mole removal, following the procedure itself. The procedure didn’t hurt at all, it didn’t take long and I’m loving the results. Highly recommend. Fantastic experience: I came here earlier on today to have a large sebaceous cyst removed from my cheek. The doctors and staff were absolutely incredible, they were so friendly, caring and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole procedure. Fantastic experience: Me and my husband visited the clinic last week for facials and just loved the entire experience. We both had thorough consultations beforehand to discuss our problem areas and proceeded to have bespoke treatments tailored to our concerns. I have been recently suffering with breakouts and was recommended clear skin laser, a peel and light therapy- I was so amazed to finally have a facial that actually shows real visible results after just one session. I’ve also had lots of other treatments done here, always with incredible results- thank you Dani, Sekela, Paula and the rest of the team for always looking after me! Fantastic experience: DD Clinical has truly raised the bar for aesthetic, cosmetic and well being treatments in Chester. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly, which creates a great atmosphere to match that of the clinics relaxed ambience. Having had a number of treatments my personal favourite would be micro needling. The procedure wasn't painful in the slightest and had minimal down time. My skin was left feeling tighter, looking more youthful and fine lines and wrinkles are still yet to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I went to DD Clinical last week for treatment for Rosacea and can not speak more highly of the place. The staff were fantastic throughout. Before the treatment they explained in detail about my skin condition and what was the best way to cope with it, which is the first time anyone has done this even though I was diagnosed elsewhere. Throughout the treatment I was put at ease and made to feel comfortable. I really can't recommend them enough and have already booked in for further treatments.

Fantastic experience: Myself and my Sister visited DD Clinical on Friday for a Hydrafacial. Not only was the treatment fantastic, the Staff were extremely informative, yet friendly and they really put us as ease. We left feeling completely pampered and refreshed, and we look forward to coming back.

Fantastic experience: I attended the clinic on Saturday, slightly nervous about having Botox for the first time as I did not want anyone to know that It'd had it and I did not want to look like my face couldn't move. The staff made me feel at ease as soon as I walked through the door and seemed to understand my concerns. I was able to have as much or as little input that I wanted, into the treatments that they recommended and the results have been amazing, my face looks brighter and fresh, and most importantly for me, still natural. Well done to the team for getting it so spot on. Safe to say I will be back.

Fantastic experience: CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH!!! I am a fuss pot when it comes to having anything done to my skin / body but Melanie & Josie exceeded expectations by far ! I was given so much information before and during my treatments such as the results, how the procedure would feel, and exactly what was happening at each stage of the treatments. ( I had laser treatment with Melanie Warren and a Hydafacial with Josie Moore.) Both Melanie & Josie are so professional. Melanie is so kind, she even gave me a FREE scalp massage to pass time I had to wait for my next treatment because of them running late which was amazing! I was made to feel so comfortable as soon as I walked into the Spa. The staff at reception were so helpful - even down to the quick and detailed responses through Instagram and I ask A LOT of questions haha! I have already booked another 2 appointments to go back for more facial treatments as my skin looks & feels amazing. Oh, did i mention the place is drop dead gorgeous ? 5 STAR!!!!!! *****
