Fantastic experience: Richard was recommended to me by Ari from Suffolk Clinic. From the initial consultation, Richard demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond in creating a tailored programme. The programme was specifically designed to strengthen my lower body, including hips and glutes. Rich has been instrumental in helping me correct and refine certain movements. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rich for the last 3 months with the goal of getting bigger and stronger. I have gained around 8kg since I started training with Rich and I have been able to maintain my athleticism. This has been hampered when I have tried bulking on my own in the past. His knowledge of training is second to none and he seems to have a sixth sense on how hard to push me in sessions. We achieve the perfect balance of training hard enough to make gains yet not over training to the point of diminishing returns. Sessions are always fun and enjoyable and Rich is very easy to talk to. Rich is very knowledgeable with regards injury prevention and bio-mechanics, ensuring all movements are carried out with perfect form. I can't recommend Rich highly enough!
Fantastic experience: Amazing trainer, super knowledgeable. Also the PNF stretching he offers is like doing 10 yoga classes. Amazing feeling afterwards. Really gives you a push if you want to get more flexible. On top of this a great guy that is fun to talk to while training. Would recommend anyone that is not happy with there level of fitness, or feeling a bit stiff or worn out to seek out Richard for a session.

Fantastic experience: Rich is very professional and caring coach.I highly recommend him as a PT/life couch. After I passed through very difficult delivery experience to my baby girl which was ended in emergency C-section and postpartum complications one year ago. My body started to changes due to many factors, lack of activity, wrong positioning and C-section which make me unhappy about the huge difference in my body shape from the way I used to be before being a Mum. When this negative thoughts started, I decided to make a change and look for PT. Positive experience: My personal focus was on creating a plan that I would stick to and would make me want to come to gym, which was a problem for me due to lack of motivation. With Rich's guidance and workout plan, that evolved as I went forward, I was able to progress with my strength and workout happily rather than feeling it being a chore. Another goal for me was to educate myself on the topic of workout and overall health and confirm information I found in various sources. I was able to achieve that with Rich, not in the exact form I wanted it to be, but I got from him more personalised information about my own physique. Fantastic experience: I have been with Richard for a few months now. I have PCOS & Ulcerative Colitis and have struggled with weight & routine. Fantastic experience: I’ve worked with Rich for the past four months. I was working out a few days a week but had completely plateaued and wasn’t seeing any positive changes to my body. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Rich as a PT and Lifestyle coach he helped me with setting a routine in my lifestyle such as, sleep, stress, mindfulness, motivation, and exercise. He also gave me useful knowledge on psychology and science, with valuable information on certain food groups specified for my fitness goals and plans. Fantastic experience: I contacted Rich after years of not seeing the results in the gym that I always wanted. Rich not only gives great personal training sessions he also looks at your lifestyle habits, mindset, sleep, and nutrition. I don’t have a very active job and spend large periods of time sat down, which meant that I easily put on weight. Rich was able to advise me regarding what to eat as I was snacking on sandwiches in the day and heavy foods. He worked out a fantastic training plan which I combined with a healthy diet and for the first time since I was 18 I am now 45. I now weigh 11.6 stone a loss of 1.5 stone since starting with Rich and I feel fantastic with more energy in the day. Fantastic experience: Worked with Richard for almost 4 months and he helped me so much in this period of time. He helped me to improve my sleeping habits, taught me how to eat properly (I know now why I need to actually eat to see the results), and gave me so many tips regarding my training. Fantastic experience: Thanks to Richard’s program I was able to lose 15kg (2.5 stone) in 6 weeks. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy and the results aren’t guaranteed for everybody, you really need to stick to your regiment. It took a lot of dedication and Richard’s support was crucial. Thanks to his consistent support diet, exercise and whole general well-being-wise I was to pull it off. Before Richards i used to go to the gym every now and then but wasn't able to reach my goal as i didnt exactly know what i was doing and i was far from being well informed, which is the common case, thus was barely scratching the surface of where i was trying to get. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rich for 8 months and it has been the most life changing 8 months Ive ever experienced. Rich is extremely dedicated and knowledgable and really opened my eyes to the whole body/mind interaction. Fantastic experience: Training with Rich has taught me some valuable pieces of information including what macro-nutrients to eat according to my goals and body shape, what training plan is appropriate for me regard my goals, and some important tips concerning self discipline and consistency with diet, and also consistency with stretching and other techniques which are easily forgotten, but key to obtaining a great physique. Fantastic experience: I have been an avid gym member for 34 years; I have met some skilful passionate people at the gym. Over the last 5 to 10 years I have seen a significant spike in personal trainers and met a lot of these personal trainers whom have tried to entice me into working with them and then training with them, some of them I have trained with they have been knowledgeable but nothing like Richard whom I met at JD gym. I met Richard at JD Gym, I have trained for years and certainly was not looking for a personal trainer, this man’s wealth of knowledge soon changed my mind. Fantastic experience: Started to work out under Rich's guidance about 5 weeks ago. He's a great trainer and good in motivating and stimulating. Due to his broad knowledge on the exercice but also the nutrition, he is able to create results in a short amount of time. Recommendable!

Fantastic experience: A couple of months ago I started out as a self employed personal trainer. With no previous experience, I had very little of an idea how to run a business accordingly and what it took to become a successful pt. I approached Rich for guidance as I was aware that through his 28 years of experience in the industry, he would be able to help. Rich mentored me for one month and through this process allowed me to understand what it takes to run a business a self employed personal trainer, how to manage clients accordingly, how to approach members on the gym floor or in general. How to deliver sessions effectively and all the attributes acquired to become a successful personal trainer. Rich was a great mentor & through this experience I have not only gained a lot of knowledge but also gained a very good friend. Through Rich’s understanding & mentoring techniques I was able to go from delivering just 5 pt sessions a week to now 20 each week in one month. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rich for the past month and can't rate him highly enough. He puts so much time and energy into analysing every aspect of your performance, including nutrition, sleep, mobility and posture. He really tailors his advice for your individual goals and finds areas you never even knew you needed to improve. Nothing about training with Rich is generic or surface level, like I find you get with a lot of PTs. We have spent numerous sessions fine tuning technique on the big lifts and working on mobility to improve overall performance. I have found his sessions invaluable and would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve, whatever your goal may be.

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained with Rich since January 2019. Having been trained by 2-3 other personal trainers before over the last few years, I can honestly say that his knowledge, support and style of training is the best I have experienced. Fantastic experience: I’ve had Rich as my trainer for the last two months and I genuinely look forward to every session. He is incredibly positive, supportive and full of energy, motivating me to get that extra rep and to lift heavier than I thought I could. He has improved my posture during lifting and taught me no end of new things. Seeing the differences and results week by week has been such a great experience. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Rich for about 2 months now in preparation for joining the Army and the difference between my fitness when I started vs my fitness now is like night and day. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rich to get in shape for my wedding. Rich is a great PT with lots of knowledge on fitness, health and well-being. The main things to learn from Rich are positive mindset, patience, and discipline. Fantastic experience: I took my son to see Rich when he was 13 years old because he had been having niggle injuries for a couple of years. It had been hindering his performance and progress whilst training and playing football, he was also in constant discomfort. After only a few seasons his mobility, balance and strength was starting to improve. After the first 6 week course he was training and playing without discomfort and much improved movement. He has now completed 4 cycles with Rich and he is now completely injury free. His strength, mobility and his overall conditioning is unbelievable. He is now enjoying his sport again and his confidence is sky high. 12 months ago he couldn't even play a full game, now he doesn't miss a minute on the field. Fantastic experience: I started training with rich in July. After years of "dieting" and getting no where I needed someone to teach me what to eat, when and how to train to get the most out my workouts as I was so clueless in the gym! After a 5 week training plan and monitoring of my diet I lost pounds and inches...following this, I now work closely with rich to continue a healthy diet and improve in the gym to get to my goal. I can't recommend him enough, he is highly intelligent in his field and pushes me to work harder. He's not the guy that just shouts at you to push harder but educates you on form to maximize sessions and minimize risk of injury. He's also a really nice guy I couldn't have got this far without him and I can't imagine continuing my journey without him! He's truley the best and will get you where you want to be!!

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Rich on a strength and conditioning programme for around 3 months. Rich has gone right back to basics with me and helped me understand the fundamental importance of stretching and flexibility and I have incorporated these movements into my regular gym programme, with positive results thus far. I did used to regularly attend the gym, but now, thanks to the guidance of Rich, I am now much more focused in terms of understanding the strengths and weaknesses of my body, and am therefore now able to train much more efficiently. Fantastic experience: After couple of month with injury and being out of training I was in no shape to be ready for the cricket season. Within a space of 8 weeks rich got me back into shape and ready for the season. He emphasized on cricket related strength & conditioning exercises. He also helped me building mental toughness with his never give up attitude. The diet plans he offered were amazing and helped me to shed those extra kilos within a space of 8 weeks. Fantastic experience: After 15 years training & then coaching martial arts i picked up the dreaded back injury. After working with physios i found that i was still struggling to return to normal training. Rich helped me massively in bridging this gap, with a rehabilitation and then onto a strength and conditioning program to keep it in check. Highly recommended !
Fantastic experience: I've been working with Richard for two years now. As well as the progress we have made in the gym, I've really enjoyed learning more about S&C from him and he has always designed our training sessions with input and feedback about how it affects my sport (archery) from me. The sessions are extremely well designed to fit a good selection of exercises into a 1 hour slot while leaving me feeling fresh and strong at the end, rather than drained and achy! Fantastic experience: I know Rich as he was Strength & Conditioning coach of this years Warwickshire Hurling team of which I was captain of. Rich is a top quality coach and very approachable. He always commanded a high level of intensity in his gym group sessions. And he always took the time to ensure everyone had the correct form in the exercises. Rich is very much into stretching and improving your core strength for injury prevention as well as over all strength and power. In our games we always finished strongly and that was due in part to our superior fitness to the other teams. We ended up winning our championship final. Rich had a large part to play in that.
