Fantastic experience: My wife experienced terrible heel pain for 9 months which a podiatrist could not fix. She attended the physiotherapy clinic and under the care of Biju Choran and his shockwave therapy and exercise regime she is now able to walk normally and resume golfing. Huge thanks to Biju for his fantastic care and knowledge.

Fantastic experience: I have been treated by Aidan Harris for leg strengthening exercises following two recent knee replacements. I have also had some issues associated with muscular spasms and hamstring tears in one leg. Aidan is excellent, very knowledgeable and professional in his treatment protocols. I have recommended him to several family members and friends.

Fantastic experience: I attended this clinic to see Anthony for lower back pain - he really helped get to the root cause of the issue and was able to amend and adapt his consultation style to help me get the best out of appointments (which is sadly rare! So if youre neurodivergent, Anthony is your man!), and to hopefully implement long lasting recovery:)

Fantastic experience: From the first appointment and meeting Anthony, I felt he really listened to past history and instead of looking at a quick fix, he very much was looking at long term which I am very grateful for. Fantastic experience: Anthony Guiducci was a really excellent physiotherapist. I had a knee injury from skiing which was hurting when I walked and preventing me from skiing. Anthony prescribed a course of treatment which enabled me to go skiing again without any problem. He was always careful to explain everything and helped me troubleshoot a number of times, including twice when I was concerned I was going backwards with the treatment. I would highly commend both Anthony and the South Gyle physiotherapists to you.

Fantastic experience: Anthony Guiducci helped me considerably with a nerve issue in my neck. He was very professional, patient and friendly and made everything easy to understand. He took time to go over my exercises and always checked again to ensure I was doing them correctly. He is such a calm, positive person and helped so much when I experienced flare ups. Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Phil Mack in the South Gyle clinic. He quickly diagnosed my shoulder issue and over the course of treatment has resolved my pain. He has been excellent and I highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: Pete has been of enormous help to me over the last year since having surgery of my left foot. The hardest part was after six months where I thought my recovery had stalled or relapsed. However, i was fortunate enough to have his support and Pete soon dispelled any such ideas, encouraging me to live as normal as life as possible and confront any pain or discomfort to retrain my nervous system. I am now well on the road to recovery thanks to his help. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have seen Anthony twice now for running injuries: a couple of years ago to fix persistent knee pain and now, two and a weeks before a marathon when a glute problem was preventing me from training properly. For this, Anthony produced a strategy to maximise recovery between training sessions, with stretches to address diagnosed stiffness and to help loosen up before runs, together with acupuncture to address glute pain. I was able to resume full training and recorded a PB time of 2:45, when previously I hadn't been confident I'd be able to finish the race. What I also like is the focus on your desired outcomes and planning to achieve this pragmatically. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Fantastic experience: Update: I've now seen Aidan for another issue and he clearly had a lot of knowledge and interest in running injuries. He gave me a really comprehensive assessment and lots of advice. I'll definitely aim to see Aidan in the future if I need a physio again! I saw Frank for an achilles issue related to my running and was very happy with the service I received. He listened well and made a genuine effort to understand my situation. He was sensitive to my needs in terms of continuing with my sport/level of activity and provided an appropriate treatment plan and guidance on managing/monitoring the injury.

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Peter enough for guiding me through my shoulder rehabilitation program over the past few months. His instructions were very clear and the instructional videos made available through the app were really useful. I'd had niggling, low-level pain in my shoulder for around 13 years and then recently I lost full range of motion due to a karate injury; after working with Peter I can honestly say that my shoulder now feels better and stronger than it has done for a very long time! Fantastic experience: Had a great experience at this clinic. Antony put together a detailed treatment plan for treating knee pain. He clearly explained how each exercise would benefit the activities I wanted to be able to do. Not only is he a great physio, but he is so friendly and always makes you feel listened to.

Fantastic experience: Phil has been supporting me a long standing complicated issue, which previous places have been unable to help. Phil's extensive experience and positive approach, coupled with his willingness to think outside the box is making a difference. Recently this approach has included the 3D movement scan. It's very easy to participate in, and it revealed problematic postural and movement detail that would be harder to discover by other means. I recommend the 3D scan as a rehabilitation tool.

Fantastic experience: I first attended the South Gyle clinic to see Anthony Guiducci on February 2023. I was suffering from a very painful trapped nerve in the lower back. Later in the year, with the back issue having been virtually cleared, I developed some nerve pain in the right knee along with general stiffness in the left knee. Finally around late October I had "tennis elbow" on my right elbow.I should say that I am 73 years old and spent many years playing contact sports, mainly rugby and football and now in my twilight years golf. It catches up with you eventually . All through this time Anthony has been totally professional with a great knowledge of muscle and nerve structure and their interaction. His approach to giving you remedial exercises is well structured to your ability and takes great care that you keep within your capabilities as you build up the strengthening and more testing lessons. I can highly recommend him to anyone looking for physio help with their injuries or aches and pains. I must also say that, on the odd occasion when I had to use other physios at South Gyle, due to holiday leave I was equally impressed by the expertise of the staff.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful physio (I was treated by Biju) -- I found both short- and long-term relief from a neck issue that had been paining me for months!

Fantastic experience: I came to Anthony with a chronic syndesmotic injury to my right ankle which had limited by ability to run and jump etc. A surgeon had identified surgical options but I hoped to avoid that. We worked to strengthen the calf and ankle - it took a few months but I began to be able to run on it again and pretty much to anything on it. It was a liberation. I now have a set of continuing exercises to manage the ankle and maintain these improvements. And along the way I brought other little niggles eg to neck and shoulders which we discussed and to which he suggested helpful approaches. Anthony is an excellent communicator and takes great care to explain the nature of conditions and how his suggestions will impact on them. Many thanks Anthony.

Peter has provided massage treatment and an exercise programme to follow at home both of which have helped me so much in my recovery. I have regained confidence to carry out day to day activities. Fantastic experience: I wrenched my back, and was left immobile - had never happened before. Got in touch with the South Gyle branch of the clinic, and saw Peter O’Hanlon. Peter is absolutely lovely; very welcoming and really positive, and was fully engaged with getting me properly mobile again. He took a full detailed history, gave me a series of exercises and stretches, and has just set me up with a strength training program to prevent the back issue recurring. Fantastic experience: I saw Anthony Guiducci for pain in my lower back and leg. He spent some time to properly understand the underlying problem and provided both hands on treatment when necessary and a range of stretches and exercises for me to do at home. I found I made great progress when doing the exercises regularly and got to the point of being almost pain free. I know what to do to prevent the pain returning and as long as I do that I’m confident that I’ll be at least mostly pain free long term. Anthony was excellent and I would happily recommend him to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had a shoulder problem and was referred to Frank at South Gyle (by one of the physios at the Gracemount practice) as he is the expert on shoulders. After only a few appointments with Frank the problem has almost disappeared and should go completely if I continue with the exercises. Frank is very knowledgeable and takes time to explains what the problem is caused by, how it affects movement, and also what the exercises will achieve and why. I can wholeheartedly recommend Frank as an expert practitioner, and Physio Clinics in general as various of their therapists at various locations have helped me with various problems over the years.

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment with Shane today. Very professional and thorough examination. Hopefully exercises he has recommended and shown me how to do will improve pain in my thigh. Definitely will go back.

Fantastic experience: For over 3 years I've had an upper back and neck issue that I've been to 4 four physios about with little to no improvement. I thought it was going to be something I would have to live with rather than get resolved. Speaking to a friend they recommended Physiotherapy Clinics and wouldn't stop raving about how they fixed them up after a major back injury. Anthony diagnosed the issue and provided a course of treatment that was simple to follow. He was extremely helpful and patient with my various aches and pains as are the support staff. Finally, the underlying cause has been properly identified and resolved. In addition the various exercises were all registered on an app which helps you track progress instead of scribbled pieces of paper that I've had from other Physios. Hopefully I never need physio again but if I do, this is the first place I'm going!

Fantastic experience: Anthony was superb sorted a Trapped Nerve issue that was causing me so much pain, apart from fixing the problem he identified the cause and we worked, are working, on that. Today while exercising he picked up a on a hip problem that i have had niggling me for 30+ years and diagnosed the issue! I will definitely be back in the New Year to work on that one with Anthony. 5 stars isn’t enough…

Fantastic experience: I've been working with Anthony for over a year, and he has managed to fix my nerve damaged shoulder, secured a back disc issue and stopped a neck muscle pain that has been giving me headaches for years. This has allowed me to get back to work properly without having to take days off for pain. He has this way of testing all the muscles through gentle twisting and turning, then gives you the one exact exercise that targets the problem and it works every time. He is quite the genius, and he is also a really friendly guy.

Fantastic experience: NB this review is from Laura Lothian Had pain across shoulder and up in to head. Had an appointment with Bertie Elles who has magic fingers and good advice re exercises. Left the clinic feeling fantastic though the pain did come back for a few days. Kept up the exercises and after a few days was delighted to go on holiday pain free.

Fantastic experience: I got in touch with the clinic looking for treatment for a long-term, at times very sore, lower back. I was treated by Shane Pippy. After taking a thorough history Shane gave me a realistic exercise programme which, along with his massage and treatments, has my pain level at zero 99% of the time within four sessions. I have no hesitation in recommending the clinic and in particular, Shane, to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Had terrible trouble with my physiotherapy until Biju took over. The difference in a month was incredible. I went from limping and barely able to move my leg to 20K steps a day and even managed some short jogs. I really can't recommend him highly enough and a true gentleman to boot.

Fantastic experience: Suffered from a neck pain for almost 3 weeks due to the mattress issue. Anthony helped me with the alleviation of pain. I was surprised by how quick the treatment worked for me. Fantastic experience: Steph Jemphrey looked after me when I persued physio as part of my aftercare when having shockwave treatment for both achillies. Visits spanned over 8months. Steph proved to be more valuable to me than the consultant who specialised in 'solely' in feet and ankles. Steph's knowledge and ability to convey to me what was going on in my ankles and feet put me in an amazing mental place to be able to deal with bearly being able to walk for 3months during lockdown. My new found mechincal knowlegde and the gentle rehab excerises Steph provided via a web link put me back on my feet - slowly and very measured . Exercises provided via the web link were excellent, you could tick them off when done and rate your pain levels / difficulty when doing them. Properly recording progress - key to staying positive. I seriously looked foward to my visits and treatment. Just under a year on and I am close to pain free after being as good as disabled. Fantastic experience: I’m not normally the one that leaves reviews, but I was so pleased with the experience I had with the way I was helped recovering from my injury. Anthony was professional and really knowledgeable, and provided me with personalised advice to increase my strength and confidence, and to help me running again in the safest way. I honestly couldn’t recommend this more.

Fantastic experience: I couldn't have asked for more from my physio, Biju. He worked me quite hard and also gave me some exercises to do at home. I was quite fearful of going - both because of COVID restrictions and also because I was afraid that there might be nothing to be done with me - but the clinic was spotless and the restrictions helpfully managed. Biju said to me that I would not be left with a sore lower back - and that was possibly the most helpful thing he said! And after doing the exercises - both stretching and strengthening - I do feel much better!

Fantastic experience: Really great experience altogether. Sorted out my back pain within a few weeks and then a few more to resolve the hip issues that had caused the back problem in the first place. I’m now back to running and have improved strength and flexibility. I’m indebted to Anthony for showing me I’m not completely past it and don’t have to just accept the aches, pains and reduced activity levels I’d sadly begun to resign myself to. Genuinely life-enhancing stuff. Highly recommended! Just adding to this review on behalf of my dad. He’s 77, has Parkinson’s and a few other issues, went to see Anthony on my recommendation after a hernia operation. Anthony really helped showing my dad how to safely build up his mobility and flexibility again. Obviously, he can’t cure Parkinson’s (that'd be going some!) but my dad is now up and about, doing things in the garden and around the house and has a range of tailored exercises that he can keep doing to maintain his fitness. The experience also really helped boost his confidence in what he can ask of his body, how far to go and how to help himself going forward. Recommended for all ages :)

Fantastic experience: I had a very positive experience with Anthony and the team. After attending various physiotherapists for a chronic sports injury with mixed success, i finally found a supportive clinic that clearly explained the underlying issue and implemented a rehabilitation plan. After three years of lower back pain, I now feel less pain and I am capable of continuing mobility and strengthening exercises independently.
